We have been several times for breakfast which apart from one time when the tomatoes were cold, the only thing is not served on hot plates and the standard of sausage not good but everything is great

Had a full English breakfast here, staff friendly and helpful (they made us some fantastic rolls to take away), recommended.

Magnificent breakfast, the best I eat anywhere, and fantastic roast beef dinner, with beautifully cooked vegetables. Needs some form of ventilation system, when it is hot they have to leave the door open with lots of road noise. (We have friends who won’t go because they say their clothes end up smelling of food.) BUT: nice place, great freshly cooked food, lovely staff, so go!

We happened upon this lovely cafe en route to Huddersfield. The home cooked food was delicious, especially the chips! Would definitely recommend and visit again if we were in the area.

I wasn't very pleased when my husband drove 15 miles on our wedding anniversary and parked up on a café carpark. I still thought he was having some kind of joke as we got out of the car! well we walked in and it was packed out, we found a table and after a short time the waitress came to take our order I had a Sunday roast and he had a ultimate breakfast. Well it was fantastic I have never had a Sunday roast that tasted so good, it was as if it had all been cooked freshly just for me! we will definitely be back with such fantastic food an pleasant staff.

Yes nice food BUT just keep an eye on what you get charged we had scones which were not to bad but got charged £2.25 in stead of £1.95 , and £2.56 for a £2.50 coffee . the lady said she could not read the writing on the pad, I told the lady I KNOW there is nothing at £2.56 on the menu , so cancelled it all put it though a second time and charged us 15% MORE than the menu price , so just check you bill NOT GOING BACK

First visit here, didn't really realise it was there before, but a friend recommended this cafe and we popped in for breakfast on Sunday.The classic breakfast, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, beans tomato and really tasty mushrooms, plus toast for a bargain £5.95 just needs the addition of black pudding to complete the plate. 50 or 60p extra and very delicious too.Really enjoyed it, set us up for the day.Tempted to return to try lunch as well.

My first visit, definitely not my last for the past 26 years I have lived 500mts away from here I can't wait to go back, we called in for a quick snack I had a sausage sandwich which was really good, looking at the menu you are spoilt for choice there's so many dishes I can't wait to try, definitely well worth a visit. .

This place is fantastic, great hot food, generous portions, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Since we found it, we’ve been every Friday for our lunch and will keep going. Carole & Graham

Had a great breakfast nice friendly staff the chef had cooked every thing very well would definitely recommend this place! The only suggested improvement would be to provide one better quality sausage rather than currently two poorer quality, otherwise it was perfect.I think it let's the chef down as he is a great cook well done

I have been on many occasions for both breakfast and lunch, there is plenty to choose from including the specials board, and don't forget to check out the lovely cakes if you can fit one in after your meal :-)

Had jacket potatoes with cheese and beans. Huge potato and the side salad was equally a large portion, all nicely presented. Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Will definitely be back many more times.

As have told the chef, I have not had a better breakfast anywhere! Can I suggest the addition of porridge to the menu. The Sunday roast beef lunch is excellent, great beef and veg and amazing value, we have it almost every Sunday, no point in cooking at this price! Lovely staff. Shame they have music but that's just a bete noir of mine and they will turn it down if you ask.. . A comfy friendly place ( although I agree the point about ventilation in another review) with beautifully cooked food, we go loads. Highly recommended

Stopped off for a breakfast while working. Great food nice atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Would definately go again. Going to take the Mrs at the weekend

We called for a breakfast after a long walk it was fantastic it was very busy but they fitted us in staff very pleasant only downside is they could do with a better ventilation system it gets a little smokey but didn't effect us in our walking clothes and the food was fantastic and good value

Love the food here, friendly service, nice mixture of foods and some cakes if feeling like giving in to sweet tooth

We stopped here on a sunday afternoon on the way home, we only had the soup, cauliflower and cheese, wow, it was good, very good. the place itself was nice comfy place for e relaxing meal. they provide good quality home style cooking.
