This place is a great vibe. Really great way to start your day. All the workers have a passion for the quality of their coffee and food

No frills, nice laid back place, college students' hang out. What a coffee shop should be with plenty of seating, some areas to work/study, and lounge. Small menu but good food, lox on a bagel was great, pastries, coffee selection all on point.

Coffee was great but the barrista did not have to share his negative opinion about me to my husband as we are allready having marital issues and his comments did not help and put us both in a down mood this morning.

The best tasting coffee of any place I’ve ever been in my opinion. I like to try different places all the time but this place keeps me coming back highly recommended to any coffee lover!

Hands down the best coffee in Riverside, a true gem in the IE. Their signature blend Third St is a reliable go-to and crowd pleaser for people of all coffee tastes but they have a good selection of single origins for those looking to explore, too. I think their tasting notes are generally on point but if you're unsure the baristas know them well enough that they can help you pick something up. The parking situation isn't the best at the Chicago location but you can typically find some around the corner.

I've been coming here for a while now - at least once a week for the past two months and I love it. The drinks are almost always GREAT. There was that one time it was a bit off but come-on 100% amazing is rare. I also love that I can get my drinks in a glass, not plastic. The staff are really consistently NICE and helpful. I've been getting latte's forever and they are good. The London fog I got two weeks ago was a bit too syrupy but if you ask for less sweetener you might have a better drink. I also love their bagel with heirloom tomatoes. Some days there are a lot of people here proselytizing but I just block them out and ignore them. Parking can be challenging but easy to find a block away.

We found Arcade Coffee & Food almost by accident. It's tucked away at the end of Byram Arcade on Westgate, not far from the train station, and is easy to miss. We've been a few times now for brunch and really enjoyed it - the food is inventive, the menu changes seasonally and the flavours are great. It's not the cheapest spot in Huddersfield but portion size is good and we've never left feeling as though we wanted more to eat. Coffee is good, as is the tea (which is supplied by Porter Hill Tea just upstairs and well worth a visit too). Then we discovered their monthly Supper Club evenings and I'm so glad we did! They take place on a Friday towards the end of each month and booking is absolutely essential; it gets very busy but there are various timeslots, although some of these sell out quicker than others. The food we've had at each of the evenings we've been to so far has been amazing. The food comes on small plates or sharing platters and you can order as much or as little as you want; it's also brought to the table as and when it's ready, giving you time to savour what has just been brought to table before the next plate arrives. We've found that the choices are so varied and interesting that sometimes it's difficult to choose what NOT to have! We've also found that we've tried things with ingredients we thought we didn't like or had never had before - in my case, cucumber (Sambal and yuzu marinated cucumber with cream cheese hummus and sesame) and crab (Crispy crab gyoza, with miso mayonnaise, avocado, radish & fennel) - both from the August menu and both delicious. It's a lovely relaxed evening and one we very much look forward to; staff are friendly and warm. It's a venue we'd highly recommend - either for brunch or the Supper Club - and we can't wait to go again.

Love it here. Flavours are amazing. Not the fault of the establishment, but today's visit was marred by children having their tablets on really loud. Really inconsiderate of parents, headphones would solve. Just wondering if eateries should introduce a ‘devices on mute’ policy. Applicable to adults too. Ruins the ambience.

I don't drink coffee but I come here to study. The atmosphere is nice. Try to get there early to snag a comfortable spot - most of the stools and chairs are uncomfortable to sit in for long periods. I often find myself standing to relieve some tension off my rear end. I've ordered the chai tea (iced) twice now and it's ok. I think their strong suit is coffee. Parking is available on the street in front of the building, on the side, and on the adjacent street nearest the parking lot.

Really love their coffee! I used to have my Leather Business behind their shop and got a great cappuccino ever time. I highly recommend you try them out!

I don’t usually write reviews for things, but this is one I have to write. I’m a coffee addict (and, full disclosure, a bit of a coffee snob), and I’ve been to every major roaster/coffee shop in the area, from LA to Orange to Palm Springs. Arcade is, hands down, my favorite. Depending on the location you go to, it may seem unassuming from the outside. However, the insides of each location are warm and welcoming, with plenty of places to sit, study, and sip your coffee. The staff are always friendly and energetic, and they take the time to talk to each customer—they even remember their regulars and their orders! Honestly, this place goes above and beyond every expectation for what a good coffee spot should have and should be. I’ve pointed all of my friends towards Arcade, and, if asked, would definitely recommend Arcade first. (Side note: They have special events and a rotating list of syrups and specialities, which makes every month interesting and exciting.) My regular haunt is the Tasting Room, but each of the locations are great! If you stop in and want to see how their coffee holds up, grab an espresso shot or an americano; if you know you’ll enjoy their amazing coffee, grab one of the speciality lattes (I recommend the Butterscotch!) All in all, this is a must-stop location, so, if you’re in the area, check them out!

Really love this place for Riverside! This is the only place I can get a decent cup of coffee in the ie! Been coming here for years hope you guys expand more! Ps. Guys please get your a/c fixed at this location!

The thing about Huddersfield is that most of the good places to eat are away from the centre, but this place is worth the 2-hour drive into the town. The Byram Arcade is a hidden gem with lots of cool and quirky businesses for those of us sick of being subjected to the junk that hangs around on every UK highstreet. And Arcade Coffee & Food is the highlight of this hidden gem. Their coffee is perfection. That kick, but with balance. Its price is what coffee should cost, not what some places feel is acceptable (£4.20 at one place in Derbyshire!). Their brunch menu is so good that it takes forever to decide, but I'd say either Turkish eggs or Mexican Benedict are the absolute stars. Service can be a little slow – I guess that's the price you pay for being so popular – but the staff are warm, friendly and wonderful. And it's always worth the wait. I've been lucky enough to eat a lot of breakfasts and brunches in a lot of places and I'd say this one serves the best I've ever eaten.

Excellent espresso and the premix iced latte was really good too. Seriously one of the best espressos I've had.

We went in this morning with my son, who had been in previously, and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least, we had Mexican benedict and a side order of buffalo chicken with blue cheese sauce. I must say I was more than impressed with the food and the young lady who served us today and we will definitely be back, a nice gem of a place

Lived in Riverside for a year and came often for brunch. Monthly latte specials are a highlight and the brekky burrito was my go-to entree. One minor flaw is that parking can be a bit tough, so be aware when you go.

I’m not sure who’s managing this place now but it needs some work. Bathroom was gross. There were three baristas behind the front counter and one guy in the kitchen. The kitchen was gross and I literally could not eat after witnessing how disgusting the place was. Do better!

out of the 3 locations, this is my favorite. The scene is much more relaxed, food menu is better, and staff is really cool.

I like to visit coffee shops as a hobby, Arcade has some of the best coffee I've had to date!! I ordered a latte with oat milk and the honey cinnamon syrup and my sister had a draft latte. I believe the employee told us the draft comes sweetened with agave. Both were very delicious. The only thing I could say wasn't so great was the lids don't sit properly on the cups so if it's full and you lean the cup it'll spill. I thought it was a one time thing but it happened multiple times with multiple drinks.

The Chai was okay. Not the best I've had but decent. Also I noticed the barista just pour some store-bought Chai mix with whole milk to make my $5 drink...so definitely not worth it.

Nice place friendly … food was good however not impressed with chunky white processed sliced toast being passed off as sourdough toast ( poached eggs)

It's always a great experience visiting Arcade Roasters Tasting Room on Chicago. Staff are always warm and welcoming. The coffee is roasted to perfection, and the food is always on point. I've been coming here for almost five years. It's become my weekend ritual. Thank you again !!!! Came here on Easter morning. I had a coffee , egg salad sandwich and purchased some Columbian beans ( The Shaman). Everything is always so delicious !!!!

My friend and I are regular visitors and usually have no complaints but this week we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. If poached egg on toast can’t be cooked more quickly than that it’s time they got a new cook or more kitchen staff.

We go for the coffee, nothing compares to this place! Their espresso is on par with the very best.

Probably the best Cafe I've been to in Huddersfield, brilliant for anything from a small coffee and cake with friends to a more romantic meal. Have often frequented this as a local coffee lover. Brilliant banana bread

Wonderful cafe, enjoy it everytime I’m here. Have come for brunch often and some of the special dinner nights. Very talented chef and lovely staff. We had the vegan graze bowl, English breakfast and kombucha today.

What a great coffee shop!! From the time you walk in until you leave the staff makes you feel welcome , they are very friendly and knowledgeable . The coffee is freshly roasted on the premises these people are no joke . Today I have the Gibraltar and a blueberry citrus scone definitely next level they have their own bakeshop. Do yourself a favor the coffee cake is possibly the best I've ever had . ❤️💪

i wish this place was near my college and not my sister’s 😢 the baristas were really nice (service was great!) and the atmosphere was very comfortable, suitable for both studying/working and for chatting with friends/family/whoever you are at the cafe with. it’s very spacious with good lighting, various pleasant seating/table options, and nice decor. there is a clean bathroom and some outlets around the room. i think there is also wifi but i didn’t try to connect. we ordered a vanilla pine latte (seasonal holiday flavor), gingerbread caramel latte (also a seasonal holiday flavor), and matcha latte. all three were delicious. the syrups are apparently made in-house, and there are a plethora of unique flavors. we certainly liked the ones that we tried! the matcha latte was also pretty well done in terms of both flavor and texture. 💯 we got the matcha latte hot and there was pretty latte art ((: we also ordered a lox bagel which was not your average cafe lox bagel. they added fennel and some delicious citrus(?) sauce that i didn’t know i needed and will probably miss on every lox bagel for the rest of my life. plus the presentation was beautiful. (as you can see from the images that other users have shared) overall 10/10 experience, so glad i serendipitously found this place while dropping my sister off at college, and honestly feeling kind of slighted that my college town doesn’t have a cafe like this (no shade)

Enjoy my seasonal apple burboun latte weekday morning when I can get myself down there. I try to avoid weekends when they can usually get too crowded. The staff is so sweet.

I nearly blew right past this place. It's in an odd location with low visibility signage, but glad I stopped. It's a funky industrial open space with their roaster fully displayed along with bags and bags of green coffee. The cappuccino I had was very good...and the right size too...it's a 6oz beverage....not the mammoth drink size *bucks serves. They have really kince K30 grinders and a simple 2 group La Marzocco (simple, excellent workhorse.). Bonus, the music playing was excellent. Support the small places that roast their own beans.

We all had a very tasty lunch. It's not the cheapest spot, but the food is excellent and the staff are lovely. We'll be back.

I really enjoyed the americano and latte w/ whole milk from Arcade Coffee. They are certainly using some choice beans in their brews here. I hope to come back another day to try some food—I went to order food as an afterthought and it was extremely busy so I didn’t get the chance. I guess that means to order all at once if you’re here on a Sunday morning! I loved the aesthetic, atmosphere, and staff vibe. Everything was really relaxed and the cashiers were super attentive and welcoming. I’ll certainly be coming back.

The service was very friendly, the food was delicious with a great variety; we had vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and meat eaters in our group and we all found something delicious!!! We enjoyed the cocktails and the coffee was really tasty too! We will be back!

This is only my second visit, and it was the same as the first time, perfection! Staff are all accommodating and friendly. Warm atmosphere that carries on to the patrons. Wish they'd open up in South Orange County. Can't wait to go back. Definitely try their baked goods and coffee on draft.

Have been coming here for lunch for many many years and always loved the food. Went to the supper club evening and had really lovely food. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate. The truffle pressed potato was really lovely -don't dismiss the vegan menu. Atmosphere in the evening was also great. Being in Huddersfield post pandemic is quite sad, but so glad they're still doing so well.

What a wonderful surprise, I have not eaten such consistently fantastic food in a while. The food was perfectly cooked with complimentary sauces and sides. Wide variety of sharing plates to choose from and very filling. Definitely returning as they change ‘the supper club’ dinner menu regularly.

Met friends for breakfast on Saturday morning. The staff were great, especially as we needed to cater to several different dietary requirements. They were very accomodating and helpful. The portion sizes were big, and the quality was great. The only complaint was that the avacado was mashrd up too smoothly - they prefer more texture, but that's personal preference. I had the porridge just with fruit and it was really lovely. Great value for money and will definitely be back.

Both the food and staff are amazing. I would recommend you go with a healthy appetite as the portions are really good. My 7 year really enjoyed the kids yorkshire breakfast, hubby had the yorkshire breakfast and I had the Turkish eggs. We went around 10 o'clock and didn't eat until early evening. The staff are attentive and are happy to explain anything on the menu and even offered to make a small portion of anything on the menu for my little one. Yes the prices are slightly more then other places but given the quality and portion size it is well worth a treat.

We went for breakfast, struggled a bit to find the entrance with scaffolding up, but glad we made it in the end! Had a karaage chicken bagel and the scotch egg. Both really good - we would definitely go back if we were local but unfortunately not :( staff were friendly too!

This is my go-to brunch spot in Huddersfield, I almost don’t want to tell anyone else how great it is because it’s already pretty busy! You have to get there early on a weekend, but weekdays are easier to get a table. Sometimes there’s a short wait but it’s definitely worth it; I sometimes buy some cards in the craft shop next door while I wait. The food is so good! The menu changes occasionally, so there’s always new things to try while they keep the classics so there’s something tried and reliable too. The vegetarian and vegan options are the best in town, no doubt about it. The staff also totally make this place - they always remember me, they’re so lovely to my little dog, and they have great recommendations. They’re so great, they really give the place the amazing atmosphere that keeps me going back. I also recommend keeping an eye out for their supper clubs, which are a reasonably priced treat when they come around.

We booked here for a Saturday lunchtime which is definitely a good idea as it was very busy. Lovely cafe offering breakfasts, brunches and lunches. Lovely coffees (which stayed warm a long time) and cakes and a selection of alcoholic drinks. All the tables were very close together, so not much room to move about. The service was 10/10, very friendly polite staff. We both had Benedict’s (ham and mushroom). It was about £25 for these and 2 drinks. I would definitely return and try a breakfast as they also looked lovely.

The food, coffee drinks and service here are all excellent. Just hope you don't need to use the facilities. One tiny, dirty unisex cubicle (should be two but the other is permanently out of order) with a plywood door and no room to turn round,...

We were a small family group and dropped in by chance. This place is wonderful! The ambience is friendly, the food fantastic, and the coffee - apparently - is famous. We were having brunch and we all had different things, all of which were excellent....

Had great lunch here. Flat white coffees perfect and our food was delicious. We had the arcade graze bowl (vegan and GF) and shakshuka (vegetarian). Lovely friendly service as well. Their cafe in Marsden is equally as good too. Will definitely return!

We have visited here a lot over the years, going to many supper clubs and taking part in their morning yoga/breakfast club. It’s a great place, foods amazing and service is always perfect. Really good speciality coffee as well!!

Gorgeous food and coffee in a comfortable venue, inside a beautiful building. This is my favourite place for coffee and a cake or lunch in Huddersfield. I've been to one of the themed nights too, and yoga brunch, which were both fantastic.

Its over a decade since i worked in the Pennines and back then you'd struggle to get anything other than a fry up. The Arcade was a total revelation. Good food, really nice decor and a good location near the station.

Went for lunch. It was a Friday and busy including people waiting for take outs but the service was great. Coffee is lovely and the food was really fresh and delicious. Portion sizes were good too. No complaints!

I've been here a few times and it's now my favorite coffee shop to go to. Better than Starbucks. I forget what the name of the coffee I get, but it's their popular cold brew, and their food, chef's kiss! Their service is quick and very friendly, always patient when asked a million questions.

Hanging in Riverside and searched for coffee shops and this place popped up. We walked in and before we ordered anything they gave us a sample of coffee. In return we order that sample. I can’t remember the name of it but it had coffee, oat milk and agave and it was iced. IT WAS DELICIOUS

Definitely my favorite coffee spot. Their own draft coffee is good but what really is poppin bangin is the coffee bean choice they use. The subtle flavors are really good if you're taste pallette is delicate enough to notice it

We love great coffee. Arcade is a great coffee option in the Inland Empire, city of Riverside. Two open locations and a third on the way. This is the original location and where the roasting magic happens. Every month a new original option. Month of March 2022: Charred Orange Latte! Charred orange + sweetened condensed milk + fresh orange zest = lots of yum! Pair that with a Sammie and wow! What's in/on a Sammie? Espresso rubbed tri tip, whole grain mustard aioli, American cheese, bread n' butter pickles...yum

It was disappointing to see the response to COVID-19 here. There was ONE employee wearing a mask, and the baristas are not respectful of the 6-foot distance barrier. The coffee was good, but, unfortunately I will not be returning. I’d be mindful of the space before going, and just in case, there’s a Starbucks across the street that mandates masks inside. :)

Overall its a cool concept. Roasting on-site, nice lounging area and friendly atmosphere. A bit hipster. The espresso was just so bitter and bad it shouldn't be served in that roast. Dont know what is going on there. It was like Illy coffee but extremely bitter.

Oh man!! First off, friendliest coffee joint I have ever been to. The employees were just happy to be there I feel like. I got an iced coffee, black, delicious. Deep flavors that other places could produce, but don’t. And their beer selection looked good for it being small. Will definitely go to again when I’m in the area!

First off go here! My overall experience here was an excellent 10/10 A++. The customer service here is probably one of the best customer services in Southern California for a coffee shop. For our first time visit ever we were able to sample some coffee and find even some coffee beans for the trip back home. The owner I’m assuming was very nice and really took care of his customers. He also checked up on guest that were dining in which I don’t really see happen often at any other coffee shops. Coffee quality was 10/10 Food quality was 10/10 And customer service 11/10 Definitely will make the hour drive again just for coffee from arcade roasters.

The best coffee around since Augie's closed down. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable regarding coffee. I usually only buy whole beans. If you want to become infected with SARS-CoV-2, you may have a pretty good chance of catching it here from all the college age kids who are likely unvaccinated.

My favorite spot to hang in Riverside. The coffee is top-notch (the draft latte is heavenly), the staff couldn't be more friendly, awesome chill folk playlists, spacious enough to work comfortably.

My go to craft coffee shop in Riverside. Their espresso is on point and they have open seating. Never tried the food, but love that they roast their own beans. I order an iced espresso with honey.
