Visited a friend yesterday with my sister and his Mum. We were treated to a lovely Sunday lunch. Really good food and the chef should win a prize for roast potatoes! Great freshly cooked food and a lovely pub with good service. Thank you to all the staff for making such an effort for my sister, who is a coeliac. Much appreciated 👏

Fabulous service! Lovely bar area full of nostalgia. We visited for a friends birthday dinner and a very dark, windy and wet night in December 2023 and it was fantastic. Great choice of food and drink. 27.12.23 - Booked in mid-December to return today for lunch and very saddening to hear of a fire. Will donate our table deposit to help with restoration

Amazing food. Service was a little slow but was New Year's Eve. The waiter was lovely. Would definitely go again.

The Foxglove is a wonderful place to visit. We love going to eat there often and the food is always amazing. The staff are really welcoming and the service is fabulous

I hadn't been to the farmers boy in a very long time, over 20 years I'd say. I was meeting up with friends and we picked our old haunting ground. We ordered lots of small plates for our table. 8 small plates, 1 dessert and 4 drinks came to £80. Food was ok, bit samey. Service was spot on. Place looked and felt great. Would I come back, probably, but I'd try a different meal choice. All in all a lovely evening.

I was very fortunate to celebrate my 80th birthday in your upstairs room on Monday 30th December. The buffet was outstanding, such a variety of excellent food. The service was also excellent and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. Many thanks, Pam and Richard Cook.

We have had our pre-Christmas meal at the 315 since 2018 we have also had lunch there on several occasions it is a place we always look forward to but I'm afraid we won't be going again, we had our meal which was fine then we retired to the bar area for coffee three of our party ordered liquor coffees after taking a sip we all commented the glasses were hot but the actual coffee was not hot enough it wasn't anything to do with the cream on top it was the coffee we called over a member of the bar staff he brought it to the attention of the manger I do not know his name he felt at one of the glasses and said it was hot which it was we weren't disputing that it was fact the coffee inside wasn't, as the manager walked away he bristled and said the the temperature of the water won't be any hotter, we received three more liquor coffees this time they were as they should have been in the first place, I understand it can be awkward to get things right but it was the managers attitude that was unacceptable he should have apologised and said I will rectify this, we as a group thought he was arrogant and his customer service needs attention, we always spend at least four hundred pounds there so this incident was not acceptable.
