Came for a relaxed drink and was greeted by Beth f serving us drinks she was kind and very polite and attentive .she kept asking if everything was ok and very nice personwould definitely come back

Last time we visited as a family even booked tables prier ,to be told alot of food wasn't available on arrival not professional. which we accepted we thought might of been busy day(no phone call tho) we left after 1 drink not much choice. Been today again for a family get together all i can say to the manager/owner we waited far too long at the bar for drinks/ food orders not enough staff not there fault at all,they seem to be over worked as like our last visit and even other customer's commented how short staffed your venue is stop over working your staff there not the problem

came to the pub tonight for the 241 burgers and was greated and served by Beth who was very welcoming and friendly! Couldn’t have been nicer. Will definitely be coming back

We came in to fenay for a family meal and loved every minute of our visit. Food was top notch and so was the atmosphere. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The manager Beckie always makes sure we are well looked after.

Middle of the road pub grub. You pay for what you get here, nothing fancy.

We loved our trip to the Fenay Bridge, the food was great and at a great price as well, with a good selection of food avaliable from the big menu we eventually found what we wanted and we didnt wait too long for it to arrive and it was served piping hot!! The staff were so fiendly and welcoming Thankyou fenay bridge team, WE WILL BE BACK

We went as a family for lunch and 3 of the meals were fine but one of them was awful. The chicken skewer was clearly off and smelt of a horrible vinegar smell, it tasted off. We mentioned this and all we got was a sorry about that and he walked off. Awful attitude from the man who asked us if everything was ok. My girlfriend could not eat meal and they didn’t knock it off the price or anything. We asked him to smell the skewer and he refused. We came before and had a cold meal and it got replaced no problem. Thought we would come again and we get this. My girlfriend was sick that night and we’re guessing it was food poisoning from the bit of the chicken she did eat. We will never come back here ever again, after coming for years. Don’t come to this restaurant.

The food was good the only issue we had was that I wish I'd ordered my steak rare because it was served on a slkillet so it wasn't medium rare by the time I got it

Good food and a relaxed location

Beckie has taken our order several times recently and is always absolutely wonderful, but this evening went above and beyond! Our meals were lip-lickingly delicious, but it really was Beckie's service that turned a good meal out, into a special evening 😀 Thank you x (There is no option to recommend mac n cheese, but I do totally!)

First and foremost, I have to say, the staff are fantastic. The lovely Beth W. served us and looked after all our needs. She was great, as were all the staff we met. The food was good and for the price, it was fantastic! There were six of us and all the meals came out within a minute or so. My only complaint is that the place could be a bit warmer, but then again, you probably get all the warmth you need from the friendly staff.😀

Just started coming to Fenay Bridge with my friend on a Wednesday evening. Staff are absolutely lovely- we normally just have a snack to share but came for a meal tonight with our husbands. Couldn’t fault the service, wish more places were so helpful and friendly! Food was absolutely fine, we had two meals for £13.49 an absolute bargain! Beth F is always lovely and remembers us each time we come in. No complaints at all, see you next week!!

Had the steak n ale pie but quite a bit of fatty meat what u couldn't eat

Came for a couple drinks with friends on Friday night. We were served by Beth F, Darcey and Kayli and they were lovely and bubbly and helpful. We had the BOGOF cocktails which was a great deal and we made the most of it! Will definitely be back again, thanks guys!

Updated review - haven't been for along while. Definitely gone downhill. Every single dish we ordered had substitutions or just things missing. The atmosphere was terrible, I do like hearing children enjoy themselves but there were children running around screaming playing loud outdoor type games inside the restaurant with staff ignoring the situation.

Once again I have visited my local village pub. As I do, most days of the week with family and friends. I have never been disappointed or unhappy with the service, food and drinks. On this occasion, my visit this afternoon I will not be stepping foot back into the pub which is sad to say so. I was disappointed with: 1. With how I was greeted and the attitude I had received from the person who was serving me. 2. I purchased a regular orange cordial. May I add, a dash of orange which was not strong and the rest obviously was water. That was the price of £2.65 which is ridiculous. I have been a persistent regular in this pub with my friends and family, for over 2 years now. I have always been blown away with the customer service until today. I think the management needs to rewind and go back to the start, of where this place was, fantastic with great customer service. It seems like this may have now been lost. To profits, bonuses and the constant focus on food and your bread and butter drinkers don’t seem to matter anymore.

Just ordered the meat sharers, kids steak and some nachos. Absolutely beautiful. Manager even asked if we wanted any more drinks with our meal which was even better. Fab service from the staff and managers always. Great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to sit and chill just with a nice beer and some great food. Thanks again guys.

1st visit for some time, reasonably busy for a Tuesday lunchtime. Apart from a mix up with one of the orders, the food was fine & the prices were reasonable

Food was cold items missing . Plates were dirty … asked in good time for my chips well done for them to come out barely cooked. When I asked for them cooking well done they took them and returned them 15 minutes later , the rest of my food was then cold the chips came out less cooked than the first time. Staff were then rude and really short . All over some chips . Presentation was rubbish considering we’d also pre ordered as there were over 15 of us. None of us will return to this place again!

Pre ordered food … didn’t have the sauce for my sisters hunters chicken … I asked for my chips well done in good enough time for them to come pretty much raw , I sent them back and waited 15 minutes for them, the rest of my food was so cold and they’d brought fresh chips not well done … the staff were rude about it. Altogether not a good experience and will not be returning

We had the 2 for £13.95 deal. Food was fantastic, quick service, good atmosphere and the staff Darcy, Jon and Beth were brilliant. Highly recommended

Cheap and cheerful. Often pop in here for a quick and easy bite to eat. The food is always hot and tasty. Charly was very good at serving even though we used the app to order our food and drinks.

Came for tea with the kids. Great food, great service. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back! Brilliant service from Charly.

Food was cold. Steak was tough and cold.on the whole our dining experience was not good. We will not be going back until some chef training is undertaken and serving staff as well.

Called in again with my wife but on this occasion I was served toast with my all day breakfast which clearly had mould on it and my wife’s pie and chips was luke warm which is disappointing I did get a refund and my wife got a fresh meal but this is still unacceptable and a forced small apology is all we got

Visited with friends at lunchtime. Pub was quiet but the two members of staff Charly and Alex were friendly and helpful. Our food arrived quickly and was very good value. The staff asked if we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything else. Will be returning in the future.

Had Sunday lunch today, minor issue with the meal but so well handled by the staff it didnt matter. The friendliest waitress Charly recommended a great dessert option she is a credit to the business.

2nd visit this week. The food is good and reasonably priced and the servers (Charley & Clare) were excellent.

So busy and the two front of house staff were calm , smiley and worked so hard, making it look easy ! The kitchen staff were equally great and ensuring the meals came out promptly . Will certainly go back

Very helpful & friendly staff Kayli & Charly who saved table near entrance & bar which was great as I’m disabled using rolator. 8oz gammon best I’ve ever tasted, xl mixed grill great value & really nice peppercorn sauce.

My mac and cheese wasn't great. The nachos weren't dresses enough. We were eating dry crisps bar about 5 on top. The rest of the food looked nice and seemed to be enjoyed. The staff were lovely, we got more forks eventually, we had like 4 knives and 1 fork between 6 to start with! Overall I would eat here again 😋

Cheaper than most similar places and nothing to complain about. All day breakfast for my brother, salad for sis-in-law, fish,chips and mushy peas for wife and I. All excellent. Midday meal whilst catch-up with family. Perfect for it.

Average food decent pint, get what you pay for I suppose

Revisited after not been here for a good 7 years. The large mixed grill was delicious and cooked exactly as I had asked. Service was quick with nice & friendly staff. Replaced onion rings and mushrooms for me with corn on the cob due to allergy I have to these foods. Only had to ask and nothing was too much trouble. Will certainly be going again and not in another 7 years time!!

I ordered the Sunday lunch menu and initially requested Turkey but they had sold out, opted for the slow cooker beef which was on the bone but incredibly tasty, I didn’t like the vegetables (were of poor quality and you could tell that they were frozen) or the Yorkshire puddings (also frozen and of poor quality and rather bland tasting). The pub inside is very nice and spacious and the seating to entertain the kids was good however on this occasion the kids were not allowed to change the channel of the TV or turn the volume up as the remotes were not available. The outdoor playground was also out of bounds which was disappointing as this was one of the reasons why we had chosen to go to this pub on the Sunday to entertain my youngest son who’s 6.

I take my dad here for meals he has Alzhimers, and the atmosphere here is calming for him. He enjoys a good fish & chips and a larger & blackcurrant. 🙂

I won't be going again. Ordered my granddaughter sausage and mash. Mash was dry obviously over microwaved along with the sausage..rock hard. Nothing nice about the food there at all.

Soo had an all day breakfast what a joke that was the chef refused to fry a peace of bread the eggs were snotty and inedible the toast had to be sent back as it was warm bread the sausages were cheep and grisly the half of tomatoe wasn't even slightly cooked and the hole thing was below par at best the tables were sticky I had to wipe it my self will not be back for a breakfast

Reasonable standard 'pub grub'. Portions good. Nothing startling but perfectly acceptable place for lunch.

Me and family went for my daughters 18th, great food, served with a smile, would definitely recommend for family or just the lads having a few pints.

Chris was an absolute star his service and customer service was second to none he is pleasant and happy and polite and the lofts in tikka sauce was the best mar I have ever had in 71 years I have not had better Thankyou both you made my day 10 stars to you both 👍🌟😊

Lovely looking pub in a beautiful location with a good range of beers, sadly the food was inedible. The burger bun was stale & the fries looked & tasted like they’d been under a heat lamp since last week. We left most of it.

An amazing pub with an amazing atmosphere, Darcy was our server today and looked after us amazingly. We stayed from 11:30 to 3pm with our Dementia group and was welcomed throughout no rush to leave and they ensured we had anything we needed. Food was fabulous as always.

Arin served us today,great service knew the order straight away!! Always so friendly and happy a real happy chappy and a pleasure to be served by.

Visited today and was served by the lovely Beth F we ordered out starters to come with our mains had a side order the waiter had brought out our starters but not the mains at the same time Beth instantly realised what had happened and rectified it straight away atmosphere was good and food was really nice would recommend calling in if only for a quick snack real ale was well kept now we go back around once a fortnight

The staff enhance the experience in a friendly but professional manner. Beth F who was our server made our first visit to Fenay Bridge extremely enjoyable, she was knowledgeable, friendly and a great asset to you. She was hard working constantly on the move without losing the attention of any requirements of no just ourselves but all tables around us. The food was tasty and at a good temperature too. Overall a very good experience.

I have eaten mixed grills in many resteraunt chains and I have to say when the young girl Beth F suggested going for the XL Mixed Grill rather than the normal one she was spot on. Cooked to perfection & excellent service from her. I will be back again soon for another one.

Friendly helpful staff. Well price food and fairly priced beer. Decent outside area. Best mates local and significantly better then Harvey’s which pales in comparison. Particularly good staff are Kayli, Beth F and Arin

The food is basic chain pub grub. Cheap and cheerful. Beautiful building, well decorated. No complaints about the drinks at all. The staff are fantastic. Always really friendly, hardworking and professional. Big thank you to Beth, who always makes us feel very welcome.
