Excellent food and the staff member in wacky was excellent , gave the kids some sweets when they helped collect the balls at the end and was lovely and accommodating, only fault is its very cold which the lovely lady on staff couldn't of controlled.

Very lovely staff, food was amazing would definitely recommend.

Family meal for granddaughters birthday. Slight issue as four were carvery and 3 other meals and they forgot to bring out the other meals. But as soon as we raised it they sorted it. Food was lovely and nice and hot.

Fantastic service from Chris. Food was spot on. Enjoyed the sport and the 20% off on the sports app was a cheeky hit.

Being here 3 or 4 times in the last year or so & always found it to be a lovely experience. The staff are helpful & friendly with the service being quick & efficient. Cheap & cheerful place for a decent sized menu that offers good food, a wide variety of drinks for a good price. Well done to the staff!

Great well priced lunchtime meal staff all attentive and polite

It’s not the first time I’ve visited with my Grandson. Last nights service was just terrible and there wasn’t many people in. We ordered via the App, and it stated 20mins wait time for food which is totally reasonable, it took 15mins for our drinks to arrive but the waiter did apologise for the wait, it was another 10mins before 1 starter arrived, then another 45mins before our main meals arrived, my son actually went up and asked a member of staff where our food was as we were keen to eat and get down to the play area with my 4YO grandson, to be told the kitchen staff are just playing another order then they will be playing ours, it was another 15mins before our food arrived. My son chased up our deserts so that we didn’t have long to wait, a waitress came out and told me they had no strawberries for the waffle and strawberries, why wasn’t it marked as unavailable on the app like other items where, we agreed to strawberry ice cream instead and they came within another 10mins. We got down to the play area minutes after 7pm to be told it closed at 7pm, my grandson distraught and I was thoroughly pissed off! We arrived at half 5, dinner should not have taken that long! I watched 2 other tables, group of 6 and a group of 3, seat, order food, eat then leave before we got our mains, very very disappointed in the service. I also clocked the car parking sign as I was leaving so hope I don’t get stung with a ticket after a terrible experience too! I think the lack of staff interaction when arriving and ordering doesn’t help at all!

We come here often for family occasions and many times Xmas eve. Was put off by the live music being very loud this year during eating as we came for a family catch up n couldn’t hear each other talking. Also had requested x 2 steaks for 2 guests cooking a particular way, when they where bought out we asked the waitress which was which to which she replied “I don’t know - they both look the same, I think they have both been cooked the same” and put them down and walked off. When the 2 guests cut in to them they were not the same and had got different to what they had requested. Just felt this year the staff really couldn’t be bothered , which is a shame as we always enjoy coming here

Just a little feedback from our meal on boxing day where we were left very disappointed. Firstly we checked with the waiter which offers were applicable on the day with the menu. We were told that we could order the super plate special and get a pudding for a £1. When we came to order the same member of staff told us she couldn't put that offer through. The member of staff should have really honoured the offer as we had all chosen a meal and pudding after been told this information. My next issue id like to bring to your attention was the cleanliness of the plates and bowls and incorrect food placed on our table. 1 of the bowls was filthy no apology was given.. we requested no salad with one of the meals and it was served with salad. When it was brought back it still had small pieces of lettuce on the plate.. one of the meals had 2-3 what looked to be crispy peas. Overall staff were not very accommodating! £80 on a terrible meal😞

Xmas dinner yesterday was absolutely disgusting everything was frozen products even the turkey ribeye steak was braising steak service was as bad had to ask for out dinner never again

Upon arrival me and my friend were greeted with a smile and welcoming presence, the staff here at this establishment are warm hearted and can’t do enough for customers. The ability to be able to watch the football whilst enjoying a meal accompanied by a beverage was superb. The food was 10/10 and piping hot. All in all a great experience and I will be back in the not so near future. Thanks again!

Come here weekly and honestly it's worth the visit. The food is absolutely delicious, cooked by chef Tom. I get the 12oz Gammon meal every week and I'm never disappointed. Great place to come. Staff are friendly and lovely. 5 stars.

Came to stop thoughts at the Walnut Tree. As someone who travelled a lot I got a staff called Magan who looked after me and was amazing and very helpful and more information. She was a delight to speak to and was very helpful. I would recommend going back there again. Thank to Magan

Had a lovely meal here Saturday for my nieces birthday. Service was great too and Chris the manager was really helpful and kept checking in with us to make sure everything was OK.

First time here,didn't notice signs about parking but when I mentioned to staff member was told cameras were turned off, hopefully that is the case. Ordered breakfast for 2 with toast and extra toast for our grandson,bread was still white ,beans cold,having take coffee back as was cold,I was given a fresh one after being told it will be the same as it comes from a machine,fresh coffee was hot enough but I didn't feel comfortable enough to complain as I thought attitude of staff member was very off hand

Came here with my friend for the first time and the food outstanding.

We came on Monday for a playdate and food. The steak wasn't great, really chewy. All other meals good value and nice and tasty. The play area is lovely and the kids really enjoyed it! Staff were friendly too.

I walk my dog in the field opposite this establishment, and I wouldn't allow her to eat in this place. The food is dreadful. And as for the company that tries to extort money out of you for parking your car in their car park? I'd advise anyone who receives an unfair parking ticket, refer the ticket to POPLA and the penalty will be quashed.

Came Weds afternoon 23/10. Had an ultimate big combo to share with my brother with an extra portion of chicken strips with bbq sauce. Food was piping hot and lovely. Was lovely and quiet here too, will definitely return.

Me and wife come most weeks for the quiz and sometimes food. We travel 30 mins each time because it’s thoroughly enjoyable, there is a lot of fun had with the quiz master and other teams. We love that it’s so easy going even when you get one wrong which we do often ha! It’s also a bonus that it’s free to enter and we can use your phone. Definitely worth a trip to join in.

Came on Wednesday for quiz night and it was a good atmosphere with great food. Had a good laugh with the losers round Harry Potter which was a nice touch to the quiz.

Chris and all the staff are fabulous we have become locals and it’s very friendly service and always a friendly professional approach from Chris very special staff member. But they all are love em all xx
