Lovely pub with a vibrant atmosphere. Food is amazing and good value for money and the staff are very friendly definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant old fashioned boozer with an excellent selection of real ales and beers, also everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, can't wait to go again.

Just been for a roast dinner at the Navigation. It was delicious every element was good from crispy belly pork, buttery mash, crispy potatoes and fluffy yorkshire puddings. I genuinely can't wait to go back. Very very good.

Everything was great. From my initial enquiry through to our departure. Ordered food at the bar when we were ready. We never once felt pressured. Service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food delicious and plentiful. Cannot fault anything at all and will definitely return. Thank you for having us x

What a perfect Sunday lunch in a lovely pub. Portions huge , setting beautiful with a fire lit on a cold afternoon. Can't wait to visit in the warmer months to sit at the side of the canal.

This is the best sunday roast around! Fantastic price and the food is incredible. I had the king prawns and roast beef dinner, it was absolutely delicious. Speedy service, best to book a table as it is so popular on a sunday!!

Went for the 'entry level' Navi Smash Burger' and it did not disappoint. Totally delicious, juicy, perfectly balanced gherkin, cheese, etc. Will deffo be back for another soon! It’s the second time I’ve been for food in just over a week and on both occasions it has been excellent! The quality of the food is very good and the staff offer the service to match this. There is plenty of choice on the menu and something to meet everyone’s requirements.

Booked for a get together, family visiting for overseas, personal recommendation for Sunday lunch. Able to reserve an area with no fuss, made to feel welcome. Sunday lunch, especially the Crispy belly Pork, was delicious served with seasonal vegetables. Lots of tables pre-reserved, could easily understand why after our excellent experience this afternoon. Will come back during the week to try their extended menu.

Service impeccable had soup of the day wow ( curried sweet potato ) You won’t get a better experience in Mirfield

Wow we were very lucky to win the Christmas draw recently .. the meal was amazing. Shout out for the belly pork and the rib eye steak. One of the nicest steaks we have eaten in a very long time. Perfectly cooked. All the cocktails were hand made too which makes a refreshing change and were definitely worth trying. Would definitely recommend both the food and the cocktails .

Came for lunch, had Club Ciabatta with real chunky chips, absolutely superb! The food is freshly cooked and the service is very friendly. Sat in the nice cosy traditional bar, there’s a sports bar in the other room with big screens for sports lovers. Can’t recommend enough!

Great pub has a separate large bar for sports games on large screens . Also a separate dinning area for amazing dinning . The food is amazing. Sunday lunch sat by a cosy log burner . Highly recommend the navigation thanks guys

Some of the best pub food I’ve ever had and really friendly staff and chefs. Ordered a couple of pints, chowders and chips. The chips were unfathomably delicious with an extremely fluffy innards and an impeccable crispy outer layer. 10/10

Visited here Monday evening for a meal with a friend and it was a lovely environment, it seems one side of the bar is like a cosy pub and the other is more sports bar where they had the darts on TV and it looked a bit more modern but I didn't really go that side myself. Seemed like a popular venue and heard somebody say as they were leaving it was a "good vibe." Service was quick at the bar and the food was delicious with massive portions. Can highly recommend the mozzarella sticks with a side of garlic butter to dip into, but really enjoyed my halloumi wrap meal too and my friend was very happy to have found somewhere that does a good steak sandwich as apparently she doesn't come across that very often! Really enjoyed it and hope to visit again soon thank you :)

We’re here generally once a week, it’s a great pub for all weathers, winter log fire, summer great canal side spacious beer garden , The food has always been lovely, flavoursome, well presented and the portions are ample, and very reasonably priced. Best ever steak sandwich is my go to favourite for a light bite, delicious…

Brilliant place is now my local as been for last 4/5 years but was a little peed off today when asked to leave my table in the snug area by the fire because it was reserved how can this be I had been there an hour and some friends where joining us then there was no seats left in snug area so had to go elsewhere not happy I go in here at least 3 times a week should not be allowed to reserve seats in snug never heard of this happening any where else

This establishment is a genuine public house, not many of those about these days, exemplifying the standards to which others should aspire. The culinary offerings are of the highest calibre, and the selection of ales and lagers is both extensive and impressive. The coffee is even incredible.I definitely recommend popping in at the very least!

Lovely place, and though there were gluten free options available they weren't identified on the menu and was offered a meal that wasn't actually gluten free. It was sorted in the end, but it would certainly be more helpful for people with dietary restrictions if the menu reflected those needs. What I did get in the end was absolutely delicious and I will definitely go back - the steak in a gf burger bun was a definite hit!

I visited the Navigation tavern with my best friend today and I have to say the service, food and general atmosphere of the place is just fantastic! The lady behind the bar was so lovely and the service was so quick! I got the broccoli soup and "the best ever steak sandwich" for my main and it was absolutely phenomenal! 10/10! My friend had the brie starter and the steak sandwich also and she loved it too, just fantastic! If I had more money I'd of been taking a soup home with me for sure. Thank you so much to all the staff (and the chef!) I couldn't have asked for a better meal for a catch up with my bestie - 2 courses for £20 .. you can't go wrong! I will be coming back with my boyfriend for a date night soon! Thank you again. One happy customer!

Eaten here lots of times during the week and always had wonderful food. This weekend was our first time on a Sunday. Amazing amazing Sunday dinner that was plentiful and a bargain of a price for what you get and the staff went above and beyond for our daughter who is dairy free. Bar staff are a credit to the pub. Liked it so much we’ve booked again.

Can't fault it, always a good range of beers with at least one dark. The staff and customers have always been friendly. Tried the food for the first time in ages and really enjoyed it.

We'd been strolling along the river and onto the canal, then wammo. We hit this spot while the sun, drinks, and waterside seating hit mine. Awesome area to chill. Nice drinks and food looked goooood. Prices of grub topside so needs to be sweet. Didn't try. I was floating along and singing a song. Drop anchor and drop in, worth a look, Peeps.

Fantastic allround pub. Great atmosphere, with the best open fire. Always a great selection of beer and drinks with excellent pub food! Perfect for families, dog walkers and then the other half is set up for sport lovers and young ones! We will be making it a regular!

We ended up with a rare childfree few hours. We decided to go for a Sunday Lunch. We always avoid local pubs due to previous disappointing experiences. This was far from that, the food was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. Beef roast and lamb roast were delicious. Extra gravy without asking. Polite and welcoming staff. We will return 😊

Love it here, I have an awkward dog and it's very dog friendly inside and outside so you can go all year long, and you can sit on the canal if you're outside which is nice if you like the water like I do in the summer. Never had the food but always looks nice and the staff are always friendly when I've been 👍🏼

Recently tried the Sunday Dinner at Navigation Tavern and WOW absolutely unreal. I’ve had my fair share of pub Sunday dinners and this is by far THE BEST I’ve had hands down. Really reasonably priced aswell I would of happily/expected to pay more for the food and service I had. The Kinder Cookie pie was also 10/10👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 The Navi has such a nice atmosphere, huge beer garden and friendly staff. The only downside is literally that I don’t live closer or I’d be eating here every weekend. Highly recommend 😅

Sort your nobend customers out outside, I thought you had security on nights like tonight? Wet security if that's the case. Getting hassle just out walking my dog. If anything ever happens I'll deliver them back to you, you can clean up the mess. Your place just spreads into the alley, sniffing their coke and smashing glasses. Proper chav pub for local coke heads....

Great pub, great drinks & a great atmosphere! Would also highly reccomend the food, we recently went for a Sunday dinner and it was one of the best I’ve had! The midweek menu is just as nice as well. My favourite place to grab a bite to eat and catch up with friends!

Went for our wedding anniversary lunch. The NaviSmash burger was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted and the fries were really nice. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely. The atmosphere and music was great and the staff were friendly and welcoming. 100% will come again. Five stars all around.

Fabulous sports bar with plenty of room either inside or outside. The choice of drinks was very good and the food was great. Service for both drinks and food was brilliant.

A busy little pub with a log fire on a weekday lunch time - but not too busy. I had a nice piece of lamb washed down with a Cruzcampo or two. The English version of Cruzcampo does not compare to the authentic Spanish original, but that's not their fault! The food portion was generous and cooked well. Recommended

We had a fantastic office Christmas lunch out at the Navigation Tavern. We were welcomed by the staff who are very friendly. We all enjoyed the fabulous food and will definitely come again.

Just had a lovely lunchtime at the Navigation Inn Mirfield!! The welcome was very warm and friendly the barman was very helpful and understanding to our needs! The beers were beautifully and carefully kept! Dont go to the Navigation if you are not Hungry the portions are Huge!! The food is amazing, delicious and the presentation is superb! Looking forward to trying the Sunday roast!

Gorgeous pub with ample space both inside and out. We came for lunch with family of mixed ages. There was something on the menu for everyone. Prices were reasonable and food okay. The staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming.

What a little hidden gem! Ladies Toilets are excellent and very clean. Plenty of outside seating area.

They have just started doing breakfast. Blimey its good!! Staff are really warm and welcoming you can get a beer after 11.30 too if you fancy one. Definitely well worth a visit we had the ultimate breakfast bagel and French toast with bacon and maple sauce fantastic. We will be back :)

This is an amazing place. There are rooms in every part of the pub. A few snugs and places for bigger gatherings. The pub has got great character and style. It's worth a visit while you're in mirfield.

Have visited the Navigation Inn a couple of times with different family members and we all agreed it was a great pub with really good food, also plenty of choice to drink and the outside space is probably one of the best we've visited will definitely be returning soon well done to all the staff
