Lovely pub, staff were great and food was amazing…. Had lunch menu but would definitely go back to try evening menu too

Llamé para un té rápido antes del cine. He estado en muchos Sizzlers, pero esto tiene que ser el mejor todavía para la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Sizzler puede ser golpeado y fallado, pero esto fue excelente. Mis pinchos de pollo tikka estaban húmedos, muy sabrosos y bien presentados, he tenido comidas mucho peores en restaurantes mucho más caros. Esta fue la mejor relación calidad-precio Sizzler en el que hemos estado. El gerente era un joven que se veía que dirigía el servicio de comida muy eficientemente y parecía realmente interesado en garantizar que la comida y el servicio era bueno. Sin duda recomiendo.

Been a few times before and it didn't disappoint this time either. Always best to book in advance.

Ordered large fish and chips with a side in a box. Although this is a deal I didn’t get the deal price as I didn’t ask for “the deal”. When I queried I got a rude reply. The meal was ok but definitely not worth the money. Far better fish and chip shops local.

Hi everyone, i visited here this morning with my Pugalier Lottie. I called in for a coffee and something to eat. Was greeted with a smile and the staff were very polite, professional and helpful. I ordered a coffee and a bacon & sausage sandwich and then went and sat in the conservatory area. Views of the sea were great, even better as I didn't have the bitter cold wind howling past my ears. Plenty of seating, nice clean and welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly which is great as I always travel with Lottie. 🐕 My coffee and sandwich were brought to the table for us, absolutely amazing bacon and sausage sandwich. Piping hot and very tasty and coffee was very nice too. My sincere thanks to all the staff, 10/10. Look forward to popping in again on our next visit. Definitely recommend a visit here. 👌 👍👍

Met for lunch a group of friends. I had booked a table online and confirmed the booking the day prior. It took around 15 minutes for the staff to take our order which is fine but then a further wait of 50 minutes for our food to arrive. I did enquire where our food was. My main course was lukewarm. I could not face sending it back due to how long we had already waited. We sat with dirty plates and had to request a menu for desserts and additional drinks. Very disappointing service. It was nigh on impossible to catch a waiting staffs eye and when we did his attitude was bordering on rude. An apology goes along way. I think there was a shortage of staff and if that is the case it would be wise to reduce the covers for a particular service. If I were writing a school report....Can do better, Drewtons!

Muy decepcionado. Tuvimos pescado con patatas fritas del menú especial, que incluía guisantes y té para dos. También pedimos pan y mantequilla. Lo mejor de nuestra comida fue el pan y mantequilla y la olla de té. El pescado con papas fritas era insípido y de mala calidad. Nunca más.

Came for a bottomless brunch for a hen do! Great food and drinks. Brilliant craic with Harry! Would highly recommend! :)

Met a few friends for some drinks and was amazed by the amount of choice. It was busy and had a good atmosphere and all the staff were very helpful.

If there was a 0 for food service I would agrree with that. 3 people and a dog. 3 members of staff. 1 guy short hair 2 woman on shift 1 blonde and brown Waited on dog table 10-15 mins with menu. No acknowledgement by the staff. Very disappointed after a long 5 mile walk No retun

Had takeaway for good Friday, Got senior and large haddock n chips, the senior fish was larger than the normal large. The fish was ok but little hard and thin. Chips and curry sauce nice, and bag of scraps, senior fish was good but the so called large haddock not so and small, sadly not as good as when it was Harpers, won’t be rushing back

El personal es muy amable y extremadamente atento, nada era demasiado problema. Elegimos este café, ya que es compatible con perros y habíamos estado antes. Estábamos visitando la costa de Yorkshire para un mini descanso y no había encontrado ningún lugar que pudiera obtener un blanco plano, el café aquí era perfecto! El desayuno era maravilloso y los pasteles caseros horneados deliciosos. Sin duda volveremos a visitar.

Did not stay at the hotel, but went there for Sunday lunch, as there was an offer on. Sounded better than it was in reality. 30% off mains. But then you get a pub like this which charges extra for ‘sides’ which you expect to be part of the lunch. Never before known to have to pay £1.29 for two very small stuffing balls, or £3.50 plus for a cauliflower cheese. Oh and sides nor desserts included in the deal. Don’t forget ‘mains only’. For dessert a small slice of lemon tart for £7.50. Oh yes and cherry compote rather than the advertised berry compote. I don’t like Cherries. But to cap it all I would expect a biscotti biscuit with the coffee, not a custard cream! As to the pub itself. Tired. Chairs with worn seats, the conservatory overlooking a scrufffy car park and industrial units. Just when you think it can’t get worse the waitress brings out a bottle of red wine and 3 glasses to the next table. She placed the glasses with her fingers inside the glasses. No wonder the ladies asked for the wine glasses to be clean! So over £60 for a mediocre meal for two. Yes we did get £10 off (£70 without the deal) , but definitely not worth it and we won’t be back.

He estado comprando con ustedes durante muchos años, vine el domingo por la mañana y recogí algunas cosas, incluyendo un lasano - nunca comprado antes WOW lo tuvimos para el té de anoche y es la lasaña más agradable que hemos probado, volveremos por más seguro.
