My husband and I went to the hop pole in Willerby this morning for breakfast. The food was lovely, no complaints, but despite the advertised “free top up” on our coffee and tea drinks, we were told that we had to pay as “the top up table has not been set up today “ . I consider this false advertising, as the free top ups were shown on the printed menu card. It also constitutes breach. Comments please.

Llamé para un té rápido antes del cine. He estado en muchos Sizzlers, pero esto tiene que ser el mejor todavía para la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Sizzler puede ser golpeado y fallado, pero esto fue excelente. Mis pinchos de pollo tikka estaban húmedos, muy sabrosos y bien presentados, he tenido comidas mucho peores en restaurantes mucho más caros. Esta fue la mejor relación calidad-precio Sizzler en el que hemos estado. El gerente era un joven que se veía que dirigía el servicio de comida muy eficientemente y parecía realmente interesado en garantizar que la comida y el servicio era bueno. Sin duda recomiendo.

Myself and 3 friends popped in after having a meal across the road. We had a few drinks before heading home. We had a great time, live music on… he was great, didn’t catch what he was called, people dancing and singing along as he was doing feel good music like Queen, Elton John etc!

Visited tea time today with teenage grandson both had a meal off the new menu both of us really enjoyed our meal.it was served quickly piping hot and very tasty.recommend the hot honey chicken burger very tasty.

Good food, reasonably priced. Good to see a pub being well attended by people to eat, watch sports and drink. Good atmosphere.

Asistimos a la reunión de veteranos de Adén. Después de la reunión decidimos darnos un capricho con el almuerzo tardío, tenemos dos comidas por £ 12. 99 mi marido tenía susage y puré con guisantes y salsa que realmente disfrutó. Opté por el gammon, piña, huevo, patatas fritas y guisantes. El gammon fue el mejor que he probado en mucho tiempo, cortado como mantequilla, no estaba salado, era divino. Yo estaba delicioso, no dejé un trozo en mi plato. Saludos al chef y al carnicero al que le compró el gammon. Siempre hay un buen ambiente en el pub y el personal es genial.

Visité con amigos para ponerse al día. Pedimos comida y bebidas en el bar y todos disfrutamos de nuestra comida principal y pudines. En general el personal es amable, pero había una mezcla con mi bebida. Mi amigo me pidió un gin & limonada, pero volvió con un gin & tonic, Lo llevé de vuelta al bar y el personal del bar fue un poco grosero diciendo que no se pidió un gin tonic. Dije oh ok. Mi amigo debe haber cometido un error. ¿Puedo pedir una ginebra y limonada entonces por favor. Ella se ofreció rápidamente a cambiarlo de forma gratuita, creo que esto fue un poco extraño cuando acababa de decir que el error era nuestro. 1 vez en la calle he experimentado un problema aquí, Recomienda el cuestionario. Es muy divertido.

Went for a meal we had a voucher for 40% of our meals.we ordered the 2 for £12.50 The woman on the till didn't really want me to use the voucher kept telling me it wasn't worth using it.i only saved £3 something but it's better off in my pocket.its not for them to say if I should use it or not.they was 2 behind the bar didn't come across as very friendly. Not sure if I would go back.the food and pub was lovely.

No atmosphere, empty on a Sunday before Christmas. Couldn't order from the menu, told to go online and then that wasn't available. Terrible, so disappointed, will not return, awful.

Down from Scotland for a few days, have eaten in a few places, this was by far the best. Food was delicious, staff attentive and pleasant. Great value Would recommend and hopefully be back.

We booked a table for 7 and ended up with 9 people which they accommodated without a problem. The service was quick and friendly and the food arrived fast. Not only that it was good food. My Dad - fussiest eater when out - said it was the best Hunter’s chicken he’d had in years. Everyone enjoyed the whole atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Ya habíamos comido, cuando llegamos aquí con muchas ganas de juntarnos. Todos adornados para Navidad para ponernos de humor. La comida se veía fabulosa, pero lo probaremos la próxima vez. El personal del bar era muy amable, los precios del vino increíblemente razonables, y se sirvió un buen Sauvignon blanco, y los cócteles? Bueno, fueron fabulosas. ¡Dos por 9 libras! Teníamos especiales de Long Island y eran muy buenos. Un gran lugar para ponerse al día, dos pantallas grandes y una gran selección de música. En un momento todos cantaban. Gran ambiente, muy asequible y volveremos. Gracias al amable y atento personal del bar también.

The Hop Pole may not be the most local spot, but its popularity speaks for itself. The venue has a welcoming and well-maintained ambiance that makes it stand out. It’s easy to see why it’s a favourite among regulars. While it might require a bit of a trek, the experience is well worth the visit for a pleasant and enjoyable time. Sadly didnt have time for the food but will sure to try at some time!

Only went because I wanted a drink of Guinness after being away on holiday and not able to get one. A sweary drunken woman being louder than necessary, even had her child with her. Doesn't help the atmosphere. Shall stick to not going

Precioso pub y comida preciosa. Organicé una cena de cumpleaños para una gran fiesta de nosotros para mi abuela y no puedo agradecer lo suficiente a Toyah, ella hizo todo lo posible por encima y más allá. Mesa reservada para las 5 pm y pedí que la comida saliera todo junto a las cinco y media y la comida salió a tiempo y caliente. Muchísimas gracias a los chefs y a Toyah 😁😁.

Lovely pub and gorgeous food. I organised a birthday meal for a large party of us for my nana and I cannot thank Toyah enough, she did everything above and beyond. Table booked for 5pm and I asked for the food to come out all together at half past and the food came out on time and hot. Much appreciated, thank you to the chefs and Toyah 😁😁.

Popped in for lunch. 3 of us tried a curry, mixed grill and Greek chicken wrap. Place was clean and well maintained. Staff very efficient and friendly and food well cooked. Best local sizzling pub I have visited.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. We had a child who is very aĺlergic to milk and eggs and staff were extremely thoughtful and helpful. We were in the end small room. The room was very squashed and very warm as there were no opening windows. (We were a big party and had added two extra people on the day so this may have been why we were squashed)

The hop pole is a large but cosy pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there is a wide choice of beers, lager and cider including cask conditioned real ale. The pub is very popular for its good food. The pub also has live music at the weekend and I have been to see some really good bands here. There is an outside seating area and a car park.

Enjoyed our lunch very much. Staff very friendly and the meals were delicious. No complaints. Will visit again.

I had the lasagne with garlic bread it was ok but it was a shame there was no salad with it!

We came back after a previous poor experience (see TripAdvisor). Ryan, pleasant as ever, had reserved a table for us in a quiet spot, as requested. Food was served in a timely manner. Whilst two portions of fish n chips were hot, my all day breakfast was, at best, lukewarm. Due to staff shortages, we weren't asked how things were until I'd nearly finished. Ryan apologised and kindly offered drinks or dessert by way of recompense. Unfortunately, I didn't want either, however, Ryan gave me a voucher for our next visit. I was satisfied with how he handled the issue and with the outcome.

A friendly staff with excellent service. First time we'd been for a while but quickly put at ease. A good choice of meals and what we chose was tasty and well presented.

Due to bring a large group we had to pre order, the hood came out in a really organised manner that made it so easy for us. Food was delicious too

Reallt good atmosphere in the pub. As always the staff were helpful and provided me with everything I needed. Highly recommend the big breakfast.

Visited alone as my family don’t like me. Food was really good for the price ( i got 11 pieces of scampi when i think i was only meant to get 9). Due to this extra food i didn’t have a dessert which was a shame as i love eton mess. The atmosphere was really good however i was bit disappointed there was no piano to play. I would like to give a special mention to young Alex who was working on the bar and we had a great chat to about our beloved Hull. He is a credit to the Hop Pole. I will definitely be back but hopefully not alone👍🍻😃 Cheers guys for a good day!
