Absolutely terrible , pie was old, been re-heated a few times, chips dry and horrible, and my dog enjoyed the sausage

Never got it and I can’t blame them but was pick up can’t understand why

The food I received was good however I was disappointed at not getting the Pattie. Have tried to get my £2.99 back as you suggested but unable to get what do you suggest?

Our local one. Never had any issues till yesterday. Came to last orders which is fair enough most of the offers wasn't available on the menu. Ordered fish strips for my partner and was absolutely shocked what I was served and paid money for. Instead of 6 fish strips as advertised on menu, I have got leftovers which looked like burnt ends of fish tail mixed with chips (bare in mind I didn't ask for a chips) on the very bottom of a box. I mean, I would be embarrassed to give it to a customer not mentioned charge for it. However, was told by the staff that's how they serve it 🤷‍♀️ no doubt I request a refund. So disrespectful

Deep blue fish and chip shop is a good Chippy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can eat in there is a little restaurant if you want tea and bread and butter with your meal. The fish is mostly cooked fresh to order, although when it's busy, they usually have some ready. There are plenty of other dishes fish cakes sausages, and the homemade patties are excellent, just the right amount of Sage for my liking.

Grabbed fish and chips from deep blue which were great, collected my order and staff were very pleasant. Nice crispy batter, tasty fish and good chips. Will try some of the other items next time, certainly worth a try.

Fantastic chippy with fresh ingredients and piping hot fish and chips. I ordered the fish strips (6 pieces) of which I received 8. They were well fried in a light batter and beautiful fresh haddock. It was only £5.69. I also got a small chips (£2.79) which was more than enough with the fish for a large adult. My two mates had a large cod and chips each, which were huge with chips. The curry sauce was also very tasty. Competitive prices and friendly staff make this chip shop a must visit if you are in the local area. I cant understand the negative reviews. If I'm back in the future I will certainly be back here.

Went in for chips curry sauce. No curry, no gravy and no mushy peas. Chips were over cooked on the outside, undercooked on the inside. Few chips eaten then straight in the bin, waste on 3 quid. Worst chippy in Beverley.

Disappointing, the restaurant was closed when I visited, one Wednesday afternoon, around 2pm. According to the specified opening hours, it should have been open.

Shocking. I lined up for 5 mins just to be told the 6.99 fish and chips deal wasn't on, even though the sign clearly said it was. The girl just said sorry it needs taking down. I'm sure this is illegal.

The food was hot and very nice. The delivery man was polite and friendly. I just wish I had some change to leave a tip for him. I will definitely order again.

Ordered from here, we decided to get a large haddock, a large sausage and chips to share with my daughter. This was not a large fish at all. It was really dry and overly fishy tasting. The sausage was nice... probably the only positive. The total order for 3 things plus delivery was just short of £20 crazy

So one I never got it and I will not purchase any more

We ordered for delivery it doesn’t take too long to arrive and is always hot when it gets here! It is quite pricey BUT I think it’s worth the money!! I would recommend to anyone 😃

Picked up some chips while we were away after a cold day out 1st of May. They were lovely you can have chips spice. Sadly they had run out of patties but they looked amazing as well. Great value for money.

Popped here after being let down for lunch with a friend (and it was on the way back to my car). I could smell the fish and chips! Got a small fish and chips - well worth it. Cooked fresh to order, and with the option of open, wrapped or in a box, I made sure it was hot until I got back to the car in a box. Great fish and chips!

We have just moved to the area and ordered 3 x light bite meals. They were all good portion sizes, the Haddock had no skin on either which was a bonus and tasted great. The chips were nice too and they were all not too greasy. The staff were polite and professional. I would definitely recommend and will be back every Friday.

Selected ASAP delivery. Estimated 45 minutes and came in 10! Absolutely stellar as I was starving! Food was great as usual. Seemed to have got a fair few more chips that usual too. Happy days!

Chips just recently either overcooked or too long in the heat tray, had to throw them away also not particularly hot. Fish was ok though.

I was concerned when my already delayed order had not arrived by the revised time - cold fish and chips are not ideal. I should not have worried. My order arrived in paper and cardboard packaging with a smiling and apologetic

Went to this fish shop tonight while at a classic car rally and I can honestly say they are the worst fish and chips I've tasted they where like eating rubber.

Called in for a takeaway. The haddock was cooked fresh to order, and was delicious. The chips, mushy peas and bread roll were all fresh and tasty. The service was pleasant and friendly. I will call again when in the area.

Brilliant chips and Gravy and friendly staff! If you are visiting on a Wednesday they are open. Google will say they're closed but they aren't.

We went for lunchtime snack and ask if we wanted our food in a box at 20p . I said however it comes ,maybe a tray ? She replied "I think we can do that. How els should they be served for takeaway... 2 small chips, small sausage and peas £9.94. Seems the prices vary with the price list as well .

I personally think it is Dear for what you get, I like many others used to like the curry always went for it but now it is just a powdered curry just add water no good, now its changed to deep blue its not the same harpers wad the best now its done on the cheap and they charge you more in my opinion leave all deep blue fisheries there is a lot better out there.

Fish and chips are nice enough but £10.17 for the size of portion I got compared with other chippies is a lot of money. They need to reduce the price or increase the portions if they are charging that much. I felt I had my pants pulled down to be honest. I know cost have gone up but no where else charges £10+ for fish chips and mushy peas and the portion sizes are smaller too compared to other places.

Ordered for 9 of us online for collection. Picked up the order with no fuss, barely any waiting time. Portions were large and the quality was superb. Everybody said it was the best chippy tea they had had in a while
