Popped in last week for lunch. Staff were very polite and friendly. My daughter inlaw and myself had the steak pie which was absolutely delicious ! My son had the burger and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend . Can't wait for our next visit

A busy bar, the corner house strikes the difference between authentic old man pub, and plastic family pop up... The corner house is an excellent pub that walks that line and it shows, being packed and popular. Well deserved and lovely

Well run park, zoo and gardens by East Riding Council. The Grange is worth looking around and the park and gardens were excellent with some amazing displays of flora. At £9.50 per person ( discounted if you pre-book on line ) it was inexpensive too.

I called in with my mum for a sandwich which they make to order, I’ve been before mainly for bread and sweet baked goods which have been really good. We ordered 2 chicken and bacon salad sandwiches, one with mayo and one without because I hate mayo. Got back to my house and sat down to eat and I discovered there was mayo in my sandwich. I took it back and complained to the same lady who served us, she did not apologise and refused to give me anything else to eat claiming they had no bread rolls left (no mention of any alternatives) and short changed me by 60p on the refund. I left hungry and annoyed.

Called for a meal yesterday early evening very polite staff a warm and welcoming owner came round asking if everything was ok which is a rare thing these days. We have called several times on our way to Bridlington and never failed to impress us! Last night we both had sirloin steak it was delicious with all the trimmings. Thank you for being so attentive and supplying high class good quality traditional food!!
