Stay away from here, it’s the worst pub in Hessle

Excellent pub, welcoming staff, great prices

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and most of all brilliant staff

Been a few times now since I've been in a wheelchair and access is so so as if you come from the disabled parking at the rear there is a very bad trough where a gutter runs, if your not watching you could easily tip out. Also watch if able to walk but need sticks. Once in there is plenty of room and tables to access easily. The disabled toilet is large and plenty of room for a wheelchair. Now on to the food most of the food is nice and plenty to choose from with each day having different offers. I think like most pubs the food is microwaved but I still tasty. There are offers for multi buys on beers ect so good for a drink. Overall I would recommend it for a family or catch up place to eat and drink.

Lovely meal and staff were very attentive.

Pool tables, skysports, beer garden, darts, pool, food deals, friendly staff, large car park, ev charge points, quizzes, buffets, breakfast and great meals. There is something for everyone at this place.

Came in for lunch yesterday for my grandmas birthday. Food was hot and delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We all had a great time and will be coming back again very soon!!

Was very disappointed, turned up for breakfast midweek to be told they only fo breakfast at the weekends

Great place, lovely staff and overall a welcoming place. One of the best places for a pint in the afternoon while watching a game.

Food very consistent and service really good. Well worth a visit if you are in the hull area. Food is spot on and the service is always quick and smooth. They have lots of screens showing lots of sports including the rugby and football. If its a sunny day, the beer garden is amazing and a lovely place to chill for the evening with good company

I meet up with my friends and family every Friday for breakfast, and you can always be a sured of is the service, food, and staff are first class, and I would recommend Darleys to everyone

Well its the first time i have been in here even though my family i was with have all eaten in here before but it certainly wont be my last time not after i had read the menu with all the days of the week offers on plus the regular extensive menu which is served all the time. There's some great offers to have & because it was Monday my wife & i opted for the Grill Monday offers, she had the steak with fries i had to try The Full Monty Mixed Grill, well for the price it just had to be done & it didn't disappoint. There was everything there & the chicken breasts where gorgeous just cooked right & the gammon was also spot on. Cannot wait to go again on a different day & try another of there money saving offers. Everyone's meal was good so we were all satisfied plus they have a extensive beer garden which would be brilliant in summer they also serve a large range of beers so its gotta be worth a visit. There is also 2 lots of toilets inside the pub some at one end & some at another Even had the Sunday roast & that was gorgeous. Staff are always very polite & helpful.

Fantastic food and lovely staff .Do come quite often .Only 1 complaint being disabled and asthmatic could do without the perfumed thing in disabled loo. it was very strong.Could save yourself some money and dispose of it.Not a thing people realise when having these electric air fresheners .Luckily I had inhaler with me so disaster averted .

A very busy pub but a little quieter earlier in the week. Some good daily deals such as curry club and steak nights to look out for too. They have an app that you can order from and make booking if you dont want to wait at the bar. Great atmosphere for the football

I have been here several times for family gatherings and the food has been spot on every time. It is very popular with families as it is quite cheap but with top service. The toilets are a little worn but very clean, the service is fast and the menu has plenty to choose from. There is no play area for the kids but they have coloring packs to keep the little ones entertained. They show all the football and other sports but they have a separate section for that so it never gets too noisy in the dining area. I would definitively recommend this place if you are in the Hessle area or passing through. The other pubs in the area are fine but nowhere near as good as this one.

Great place for brekki after parkrun. Affordable and tasty. Dietary requirements catered for. Egg on gluten-free toast , latte, and orange juice for £5.50. Fast service too

We come here every Saturday after parkrun. They are so friendly and accommodating. Food is great and surprisingly cheaper than you'd think too. Plus 20% off if you have the Blue Light Card app.

Went for a group lunch and my first experience of Darleys. The food was excellent, the lager was a bit pricey, but all in all I really enjoyed it.

Met up with several friends for a few cold ones on a bank holiday Monday before travelling to Leeds to watch Hull city enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and friendly staffs service also loved our food couple of large mixed grills very tasty with a welcoming 20%off discount 👍👍

Dined here on 23/03/24 with my wife and daughter. We were advised that the waiting time for food was an hour however Vicky very kindly sped up my 4 year old daughter’s order. Food and drink was delicious ,highly recommended. Thank you Vicky, amazing customer service.

Food was cold bland and basically terrible. Took over an out for my starter which we asked for with the main and it was slimy and horrible

Came to Darleys for mothers birthday 5.30pm 21st Feb & it was quite busy but service was very quick ..the place has improved a lot since I last came years ago & the menu choices & offers were great & good value ...I got steak & ale pie with mash & peas was 2 for £11.99..pie was lovely & big, only down side would be not enough mash potato but it tasted lovely.Others got curry & pint deal & it was lovely ..good sized portions ..we all thoroughly enjoyed the full experience..lovely family atmosphere , nice & clean pub ..Will definitely be back very soon ..thankyou

Food was perfect. Service absolutely spot on Lovely relaxed and calm atmosphere. - also to add I had lost a £20 note from my pocket and a staff member kindly checked the cctv and returned it quickly. I didn't even realize I had lost it . So very thankful

I really hope this reaches the staff that worked on Saturday 20th January 24, I'd just like to say a massive thank you, I am a new mum to a little boy with a severe dairy allergy that has to carry an epi pen around. This is all new for us and we never eat out with my son, as we are in absolute panic of someone else cooking his meal, but this time was different, the reassurance we received from start to finish was just amazing, from the bar staff. Waiters and kitchen staff we are so delighted and honestly walked out with a massive smile, from the minute I said allergy they took it so serious and just listened, and we as parents really appreciate it! THANK YOU! We will 100% be returning, the food was delicious too and my son seemed to love it. Honestly really from the bottom of my heart thank you for such a lovely experience

Had Christmas dinner here and it was excellent! Turkey was delicious, I had the brownie pudding too and that was amazing. Atmosphere and staff were fantastic! Pigs in blankets weren’t nice BUT that doesn’t take anything away from the overall experience. Would definitely go again!

Good pub, helpful service, my food was good but the roasted veg lasagne had a lot of cucumber not really what my partner expected. But was quite nice overall she advised. Would go back again.

Why you are unable to be served by a member of staff in the bar is simply ridiculous

Terrible experience for the Thursday quiz, app didn't work and the 4 foot quiz man with the questionable hairline was too busy trying to dance and chat up girls far to young for him for him to bother to help with the issue

Christmas Dinner was excellent plenty on the plate, quality of the turkey beautiful, plenty of veg and roasted potatoes, only let down pigs in blankets not fully cooked, staff, service, very polite and efficient, best Christmas meal at a pub ever, will be going again, highly recommend...and good value for money drink and three courses

food has went down hill since last time I used it about a year ago, bit into a chicken strip and got a mouth full of greasey fat ,had to leave it as it was disgusting

Went for a big family Xmas meal as not been to darleys for a while and it used to be nice . Was surprised how quiet it was for a Sunday . After eating i realised why . I Ordered the beef dinner and it was poor . The beef was just full of fat - the mash is frozen and not fresh and the veg seemed like plastic. Definitely not returning

Treating my granddaughter to a meal that we thought would be a step up from McDonald’s. She ordered from the kids’ menu fish fingers, chips and a fruit shoot. The waitress who brought our meals was lovely. She went to order a dessert from the kids menu and came back for £1.49. Yes it’s not much but I was told to get the dessert included as part of a meal deal then I should’ve ordered it at the outset. No one asked me when I ordered our meals what dessert she wanted. I asked the server to show me where on the menu that was pointed out and it’s in very tiny print on the reverse of the menu. He could’ve let me have the dessert, I paid as I was going to have a disappointed granddaughter. Petty, as I asked if he was going to make me pay. We ate our meals as we were hungry but the fat in the fryer needs changing. My granddaughter asked why we had black bits on our chips and the waitress looked embarrassed. The food quality wasn’t up to McDonald’s standards. I’d have complained at the time but I didn’t want to upset my granddaughter. Never again.

Darleys, like the Kingston is a hungry horse pub. So the pub grub is very good, A nice choice with daily specials and a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. There is a good choice of beers lagers and cider including four cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales when I visited. It's a very large pub with plenty of seating. There are two pool tables in the bar and a dartboard. The staff are friendly And the service is good. Plenty of outside seating and parking. Definitely worth visiting.

A good stop to watch the footie with loads of screens and a good sound system. We sat through the over 18s section that had a pool table, darts, fruit machines and all the other facilities one would expect to find. They have drinks menus on the tables and some good drinks offers to keep your eye on. We had a smokey burger and a quadzilla which was massive and delicious. The toilets were fine and the staff we interacted with were very friendly and efficient. We will be back again this weekend to watch the sport and this could not be our favorite pub in the area. I have not been on a Sunday yet but we are looking forward to some of their roast dinners which look like great value in this day and age.

this is a great spot for a girly catch up and a bottle of wine. the staff qere super friendly and it felt very safe. good music and clean toilets. the prices are fair for a noce pub like this and the menu looks pretty extensive. i would recommend you call in if you are looking for a noce pla e to chill with frinds.

Another fab visit to this place with the family and just as good as ever. The staff were very polite, the food was great and facilities clean. They seem to have has a bit of a spruce up in the beer garden but the weather was not good enough to enjoy it. The beer was well cared for and we cannot fault the friendly service.

We had a nice family gathering for mums 75th birthday. Last Saturday .we was in a side room which was nice & private ..we was pleased with everything. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed the Friday special of two burger dishes for the price of one. Everything was cooked to perfection and the vegan burger was delicious.

We have been here a number of times and the food has always been top notch. For the price, the food and drink are great and the service is always really friendly. The menu has lots to choose from including tex mex stuff, British classics and world cuisine. There is no play are and they do not accept dogs but other than that it is a great place to visit. I would definitely recommend for families as it is cheap and has a good atmosphere. The toilets are a little worn out but very clean and the rest of the pub is in good nick. There is a beer garden at the rear which gets busy in the summer but also plenty of room inside.. We have never struggled to get a table but I can imagine that it gets very busy at the weekend. A really, really well run pub :)

I love this pub but it tends to be very popular at the weekend. We book through the app and it makes it nice and easy to order. You have to pop up to the bar with any changes but its still easier than ordering the old way. A great little extra to an already brilliant pub.

We arrived at a very busy time and the staff at Darleys could not have been more accommodating. Lisa made sure we were seated and served right away, also, one of us lost a pair of sunglasses and the manager Luke spent 20 minutes finding...

Very long standing customer 50 + yeats. Sensible quality, food, drinks and surroundings. Most importantly excellent friendly helpful staff.
