Great family meal. What a gem of a place. Cool vibe, great menu and drinks. Excellent authentic pizzas and divine salads. Sabine and her mum offer excellent food and service. Well worth a visit.

Sat outside and had tasty, generous and well priced sandwiches served by friendly staff. Also had the carrot cake which was very nice.

Lovely little cafe with a few added treats in the form of bunting to buy or order extremely reasonable priced….chance to paint pottery …a few other Yorkshire treats. We had breakfast which was lovely I had the Vegetarian Breakfast …my Hubbie had a Breakfast Bap & my 2 Spaniels had 4 sausages between them. Extremely friendly staff, good food & extremely good value for money thoroughly recommend & will be revisiting later in the year when we come back for a long weekend. A little gem.

We popped in early evening 18th Nov to this traditional British pub with the roaring fire, locals / walkers / residents with dogs at their feet and a great selection of drinks and beers. Whilst we did not have any food on this evening the food that was being brought from the kitchen looked fresh and homemade. The menu is what you'd expect from such a quaint place. We were staying at pods some 3/4 mile away. With being non resident we asked if they done breakfast. We paid the evening before and breakfast was served 8.30 - 9.30. (I do not know if they'd serve non residents at peak times) Whilst I'd say breakfast was limited, it emulated the food from the night before fresh and homemade.

Friendly staff. Lovely country style decor. And top quality food. I really don’t know what else you can ask for. Spot on.

Outstanding, first class café tea rooms serving homemade food with expertise & panache. We came here to enjoy our family Christmas lunch & I can’t express how much we enjoyed the food & whole experience. I had my eye on this restaurant for a while and finally got the chance to visit as I was staying nearby. The location is lovely, really scenic and peaceful and the food was incredible. I went for the Sunday roast with chicken seitan with all the trimmings and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I couldn't fault anything. I also had a local lager which was delicious. I would recommend this place to vegans and non vegans alike and will definitely revisit when I'm back in the area.

During a recent visit we popped into Coopers for a coffee and chocolate. The coffee was good and the chocolates excellent. friendly service. Glad we called in.

The food here is some of the best I have had in a long time! It is all traditional homemade farmhouse food, its just like going to mums house. I found it very friendly with plenty of food for your money. It has some lovely surroundings, being situated on the pennineway and 100yrds from the leeds liverpool canal.

A fantastic full English breakfast and friendly staff , the waitress who served us maddie went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed . We will be returning very soon .

During a countryside walk we stopped off for drinks. A very traditional pub but with a great garden to the rear and charming staff. We were sorry not to be able to stay for lunch. The food looked great.

I can absolutely recommend The Priests House for your wedding. The venue is clearly beautiful, I’d been looking for 8 years for the perfect wedding venue and it just blew me away. But what also makes it are Conor and his team. We only had 5 weeks to organise our day, nothing was too much, from increasing the no of guests, decor, accomodating dietary requirements….the team absolutely took the stress out of organising our wedding, and on the day the whole team were incredible. I just wish I could go back and do it again! 💍

On arrival the pub does not inspire confidence in the quality of food - but it was really very good. I was dubious about the sizes of sunday roasts after reading a previous review - and to be fair, the plates do not arrive loaded with masses of veg or mash. However, we all left feeling satisfied and it really felt like well prepared, high quality food. The steak and ale pie, and steak and ale yorkie had the same filling, which was superb.
