What a great wee cafe, popped in for tea and lemon drizzle cake and it was very nice, the staff are very polite and the cake was to die for, Lovely clean place, Will call again next time we are in the area,

This place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is super chill, and the food is absolutely mouthwatering. I highly recommend the pork pasta - it’s to die for!

Fabulous location, great hosts, amazing food.

I visit this fish and chip shop every time I’m in the area. I have never been let down the fish is fresh with a lovely crispy butter. Chips are as you would expect also in the big picture of things well priced.

Stayed here for two nights, mid week out of season so well priced. Barn conversion approx 200 yds from the pub. Nearly double when we stayed in October. Pub area has open fires and lots of dogs. Restaurant dog free 👍🏻 great service from a well trained team. Breakfast was excellent with fantastic coffee freshly ground. Dropped a star due to slight niggles in the room, window blind hook hanging off and rusty bath handle otherwise a lovely place. Loved the open fire in the barn. We would return if in Malham. Walks, Janet’s foss waterfall then back via the famous cove. Even the weather was kind 🥳

Having dined here several times and enjoyed our meals I was so disappointed to be served the cheese, leek and potato pie with a full round of clear hard plastic material cooked inside of the pie. It was the full diameter of the pie. On calling the waiter he asked what I wanted him to do. I requested a new meal. On returning my plate minus my vegetables which he said would be coming. Finally they arrived but still no apology from the waiter. By this time my meal was ruined. On going to pay there was still no apology from waiter or chef or reduction on price of the meal. Perhaps you should list the pie as cheese, leek and plastic pie. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Fantastic authentic Dales pub. We are regulars here, nothing better than a drink and a meal here after a long day hiking in the Dales. The pub is charming, food delicious, and staff are absolutely amazing. Every time we visit, we have such a good laugh with the staff. Definitely one of the best pubs around!

Stayed here 3 nights exellent stay fantastic owners staff and food nice comfortable room only a 20 minute stroll in to settle whats not to like seriously give this place a go

I love this place. Me and hubby have to visit Skipton every few weeks on business and I always want to come here. It's a lovely tea room in a beautiful quiet little village. The food is always lovely and they make a really good cup of coffee. The cakes are to die for too! Try the dark chocolate and ginger tiffin if they have it in, it's delish! It can get very busy at certain times as it very popular with walkers, so if you want to guarantee a table you can book. There are a few tables in the window which have a beautiful view so ask for a window table. Saying that, we have never booked and although we have had to wait a bit, we've always managed to eat there without too much fuss. I would certainly recommend a visit here.

Tuvimos cuatro cenas de Navidad para llevar tres pavos y un asado de nueces, los recogimos en Nochebuena y los comimos el día de Navidad, cada uno era delicioso y fantástico valor, sin duda volveremos a pedir si está disponible el próximo año, sin duda espero que sí. Muchas gracias Elaine.

Great family meal. What a gem of a place. Cool vibe, great menu and drinks. Excellent authentic pizzas and divine salads. Sabine and her mum offer excellent food and service. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, excellent customer service. We eat here everytime we visit skipton which is an hours drive from our home. Prices are affordable and the food is amazing quality for the price! Super quick service too, all the waitresses are friendly and smiley

Booked on line for an October stay. Payment came out as expected. A week later payment came out again. This was same for all of our party which was highly suspicious. Still not received second payment back. Contradictory responses, no apology at any stage, terse replies and then ignored emails. Would not recommend this experience to anyone.

Sat outside and had tasty, generous and well priced sandwiches served by friendly staff. Also had the carrot cake which was very nice.
