Fantastic place. Roll with bacon and sausage was lovely. Really good quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I've been coming here on caving trips for 25 years and always either start or finish the day in Inglesport. Love it. The only thing I'd say... bring back the pints of tea!!! And please don't ever stop doing the tiffin, it is the best on the planet.

Well pleased to see the sign on the door saying Cafe open . My choice was a Cheeseburger with salad. And wow! I've never had such a stacked Cheeseburger..To say it's a belly filler is a understatement.. The menu is simple, nothing too posh, just good food and not expensive. If you are in Ingleton make sure you visit, you will not be disappointed.

First thing to note is that the cafe is above an outdoor sports shop! So you go through the shop to get to the cafe which is on the first floor. The cafe is exactly what you would expect from a local little cafe. Pleasant staff and cheap and cheerful food. We ordered a breakfast and a toasted sandwich plus hot drinks. The food was lovely. BUT… the best part of the visit was definitely the cake! It was beautiful. Clearly homemade and some of the best cake we’ve ever tasted! If you’re in town, you definitely need to try the cake!

On a day trip out we stopped in Ingleton for a stroll around and a quick snack. A stroll through the village to find a cafe was not going too well, nobody open, even the chippy was shut. We then noticed this business and realised there was a cafe upstairs.. What a great discovery.. A friendly welcome, a good selection on the menu, quick service, and very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

You don’t generally expect to find a cafe in a leisure shop, but here it is. A good menu is on offer and my son and I both plumped for the breakfast option. Prices are good and the service was so speedy, with breakfast served within a few minutes. The staff were friendly and the wee was a good relaxed vibe about the place. Both breakfasts were tasty particularly after a wander around bathe waterfalls walk. If you’re in the neighbourhood I’d definitely recommend this place

Run of the mill cafe with a no frills approach to everything. Cheap and cheerful with wholesome food. Not the place if you want a ‘nice coffee’ but manages warm and wet pretty well. Perfect after a foggy slog up Inglebrough. Akin to Pete’s Eats in Llanberis.

I really do not like to post any negative reviews but feel I have no option. We ordered two toasties and two coffees (one decaf) and one piece of flapjack - the waitress charged us over £17! When I queried it her colleague apologised and said the wrong items had been charged for. I presume the girl did not like being told as she was very sullen and when she came with our drinks just plonked them down and I had to ask which was the decaf one. I got a mumbled answer and when we left no eye contact - she was too busy on her phone. We live locally but will not be returning to this cafe.

The cavers and outdoors persons cafe. I have been coming here for what must be 2 decades now and the food is consistently great. The specials and cakes are all homemade with obviously top quality local ingredients and served by the most friendly staff. Dawns Scones are second to none and Janets homemade pie is divine. We had been walking around the area. We had been to waterfalls walk. We were tired and need of something to tide us over. Went in the cafe and was so surprised to see so many homemade cakes. Hard to choose. Tea as good as I would make at home. We hardly ever bake so to see the beautiful cakes was great. The place is clean , reasonably priced too . Great Staff, extremely friendly. Got chatting to a lady called Dawn. She was so lovely advised us on other local things. Then I found out she made the cakes, was thinking about stealing her into my suitcase. I could have my very own cakemaker. She said she loves to cook, crazy woman lol. We chatted a while and I asked her for her email to stay in touch.

Well I have been coming for years. In the beginning there wasn't much choice of venue to grab a full English before going caving. However, despite that nowadays there is lots of choice, we still frequent this cafe. Why? Nostalgia, familiarity play a huge part of course, it does feel almost treasonable to go anywhere else, but because of that feeling shared by many, it has a superb, happy, lively atmosphere of cavers, cyclists, walkers all bull-----g about what they've done or are going to do today. It's brilliant, like being 18 again and I love it. The food is also good, with Gluten free options for me. It ain't haut cuisine, but it ain't meant to be, when what you want is a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day.....

We come to this cafe quite a lot when visiting Ingleton as it's handy and value for money. The wait never seems long even on a Sunday morning! The food is usual cafe things - breakfast options, jacket spud/sandwiches for lunch, etc. And having sampled a few I've never been disappointed. It's not extraordinary or special particularly but it serves it's purpose and we'll come again. It is up a flight of stairs and I didn't see a lift so avoid if you have difficulty with stairs.also not a lot of space if you have a pram and there was only 1 high chair.

This is my favourite eatery in my home village. Good, honest hearty grub at reasonable prices. Great selection of enormous cakes & tray bakes. Free wi-fi and nice staff. No surprise it's the no. 1 ranked Ingleton restaurant on Trip Advisor. Good outdoor shop downstairs too.

On arrival the pub does not inspire confidence in the quality of food - but it was really very good. I was dubious about the sizes of sunday roasts after reading a previous review - and to be fair, the plates do not arrive loaded with masses of veg or mash. However, we all left feeling satisfied and it really felt like well prepared, high quality food. The steak and ale pie, and steak and ale yorkie had the same filling, which was superb.

After driving around the Yorkshire Dale's, we were in need of a drink and snack. We came across this lovely little tearoom and we weren't disappointed, quirky and quaint I would say, very friendly, great value for money too.

Stayed at The Lister Arms for a couple of nights mid week. We stayed in the Lister Barn which is a 2 minute walk from the actual pub. Cosy and warm, tastefully decorated with lovely toiletries - a real gem of a place. The main pub is really cosy, with a gorgeous fire burning all day and evening. Breakfast and dinner here were both really good with large portions. Lots of dogs inside the bar area too which was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Visited as a group of 16 for an 80th birthday celebration. Beautiful place, great service for our Sunday lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and staff did well to serve such a large group in good time. I had the small roast beef, it was delicious and definitely enough for me! The Yorkshire pudding was excellent. I had the treacle sponge and custard afterwards- yummy!! Highly recommend visiting if you’re ever in the area.
