Stopped for lunch. It was a fantastic meal of homemade pies. I had the chicken leek and maple cured ham which was superb. Other people in the party had lamb cutlet pie and another had the steak and litton ale pie. The lamb brewery beer I tried was excellent. I would recommend this pub for lunch or dinner.

We were staying in Kettlewell and visited one evening after seeing the good reviews and I really fancied trying the lamb pie. It was a five mile drive down mostly single track lanes, but well worth it. The main bar area is traditional, cosy and had an open fire going. Beers were from the on-site Lamb Brewery and very much to my taste. Service from the two girls in the pub was very friendly. The undoubted highlight for me though was that lamb pie, or, to be more precise, the Award-winning Littondale Lamb Pie. Whoever came up with that deserves an MBE in my opinion. It was the most delicious food I have eaten this year. The whole menu on the blackboard looked great though, and we even discussed staying there next year, just so we could try more of the food!

Tucked away in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this charming pub offers an exceptional gastro dining experience. The cozy atmosphere, with its rustic beams and roaring fire, sets the scene for a delightful meal. The menu is a tribute to local produce, featuring dishes like slow-cooked lamb, paired perfectly with seasonal vegetables. Each dish is beautifully presented, The own brewed ales are excellent. Service is warm and attentive, making the experience as welcoming as it is delicious. A must-visit for food lovers exploring the Dales.

24 of us descended on the Queens for dinner whilst on a weekend away. We had pre booked in advance and advised them of our food order a few hours before. From the moment we walked through the door we were looked after by the staff who were good humoured and unflappable even during the chaos we caused by changing our dessert orders. The food was served promptly and for such a tiny restaurant their ability to bring everything out together was nothing short of amazing! The food was incredible, the steak and ale pie just incredible served with perfect chips and delicious mushy peas. Every one of our group said the same thing…. Great service and fantastic food. All I can say is well done to everyone who made our afternoon so enjoyable. Nice job! 👍

Visited with family while staying nearby and enjoyed an excellent evening meal. The staff were polite and helpful and the good was delicious and reasonably priced. There is no dedicated car parking so be prepares to park on the road. I would also avoid the deserts as they aren't anything to write home about but starters and mains are delicious.

What a great place: welcome, hospitality, friendliness (including towards our black lab puppy), ambience and, not least, delicious, well-priced food. We chose The Queens Arms for our Sunday lunch whilst on a break in the area. This was wholly as a result of its super reviews on Tripadvisor. As we drove along Littondale through Arncliffe the road became narrower, but we held on to the hope that we were journeying on to somewhere which had so impressed many previous diners. And so it was. The fire was alight, our reservation and time were chalked on to a board on our table and our Sunday roast ultimately proved memorable. Most tables had three bookings over an extended lunchtime, and some people who came on spec were not able to be seated. So, book ahead and relish all that The Queens Arms has to offer. You won't be disappointed. Thank you to all staff concerned, and we are sure to return.

Drove from Buckden to visit this pub based on reviews and the menu. It’s a trek down mostly single track roads, through some tiny villages, past lots of other pubs, but it is well worth it. There are two things a pub has to do to be a success, be a top notch boozer and also turn out great food, and this one does just that! The beer is great, the atmosphere is friendly and very local, and the food is absolutely top notch. The staff all seem happy, and everyone seems very proud of the food. Cottage pie (meat from on site/ next farm) Steak and ale pie Children’s sausage and chips All of it, brilliant! We also left our daughter’s wellies under the table and called back the next day for them, staff were great when we called about it. Great pub, well worth the trip, thanks!

I discovered this glorious little pub a couple of days ago, but didn't have time to eat. Not sure why, but I don't think I'd ever been here before. Pretty remote, but such a lovely place: very friendly staff, great, creative menu and excellent ales. All wrapped up in gorgeous Littondale. I had to go for their "award winning" pie: - Littondale Lamb Pie with Slow Braised Lamb Steak Topped with a Honey & Minted Lamb Cutlet Baked inside and I chose it to be served with "Triple cooked beef dripping chips" and mushy peas. You could tell you were in Yorkshire as it came with an extra jug of gravy! This was really delicious: the pie was a triumph: succulent lamb steak in a rich gravy with a whole lamb cutlet! Beautifully tender. The chips were perfection: very crispy on the outside and beautifully fluffy inside. I chose their own brewed X Mild to accompany my excellent meal. Then I had a superb drive back to Horton, as the sun was setting behind Pen-y-ghent. Absolutely perfect!

The only thing that spoilt the evening was, the large group of people who were sat at the table apposite us. They were extremely loud, even shouting across the table to each other,. The noise was awful.. My friend & myself had met up for the first time in several weeks so we were looking forward to having a nice meal & a catch up. An absolutely charming country pub with excellent food, ales and service! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable for drinks and food of that quality. The award winning lamb pie was amazing and the little bar area is...

The whole of Wharfedale speaks to the excellence of the Queens, and the pies in particular. After years of living here and getting fed up with the talk I decided to get up there and try one of the pies out. I was worried that...

Very expensive, very small portions and the staff were not very smiley and welcoming. Food was ok. I call these types of chippy's 'tourist chippy's' £6 quid for a very small portion of chips, peas and gravy. The portion was so small that it was below the height of the tray and what makes it worse is the server put the peas on top of the gravy.

After driving around the Yorkshire Dale's, we were in need of a drink and snack. We came across this lovely little tearoom and we weren't disappointed, quirky and quaint I would say, very friendly, great value for money too.

Fantastic place. Roll with bacon and sausage was lovely. Really good quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I've been coming here on caving trips for 25 years and always either start or finish the day in Inglesport. Love it. The only thing I'd say... bring back the pints of tea!!! And please don't ever stop doing the tiffin, it is the best on the planet.

We stumbled upon this place by accident & what a discovery! Food & staff - great, don't drive past this place! We were on a day trip to Skipton from Manchester & decided to have a drive around to look for somewhere different to eat....

Stayed at The Lister Arms for a couple of nights mid week. We stayed in the Lister Barn which is a 2 minute walk from the actual pub. Cosy and warm, tastefully decorated with lovely toiletries - a real gem of a place. The main pub is really cosy, with a gorgeous fire burning all day and evening. Breakfast and dinner here were both really good with large portions. Lots of dogs inside the bar area too which was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.
