The best restaurants serving British food in Bradford Yorkshire and The Humber

Yesterday was the first time me and my partner visited this fish shop and are extremely disappointed. We wanted 2 fish butties and a bag of chips. We were told we could not have fish butties by themselves as they had to come with chips! I queried this as every other fish shop I've been to in my life has served a fish butty by itself. The 2 young girls behind the counter were extremely rude and obviously did not want to be there. I again asked why I had to have chips with both of them. The prices in this shop are among the highest I've ever seen for fish and chips and the service we recieved while paying this extortionate price was absolutely terrible. I even told the girl that the chips would be thrown in the bin and with food poverty being at its highest it was extremely wasteful amd she just shrugged her shoulders at me. to force customers to take food they don't want is just ridiculous. Me and partner will never visit another mother hubbards just because they clearly don't care about food waste and they seem to employ staff who can't be bothered

Food was good and service was prompt. Nice place will visit again.

We'd been meaning to try Sunday lunch at the Queens Head for ages, and I'm so glad we finally booked. Great choice of starters. Hubby had the scotch egg and I had the flatbreads with various dips. Both starters were really full of flavour and well presented. Roast beef was perfect with a good mix of veg, with hot roasties and a humongous yorkshire pud. It was nice to have the cauliflower cheese included in the cost as many establishments have this as a paid for extra. We felt the quality of the food was excellent. We didn't have desert this visit, too full after 2 courses.....maybe next time! Just coffees and, according to hubby, a very delicious Irish coffee. The service was good from very pleasant staff. Lovely cosy, very busy atmosphere and we will be back very soon. Would highly recommend a visit or two.

+ Walton View Hotel looks nice from outside and inside. + Food was outsourced from my Lahore for Asian wedding was very tasty + The service was quick and reliable - The overflow parking should be surfaced and parking bays made clear - lighting is required in overflow parking areas - the location of the stage should be in such a place that it can be seen from every seat in the dining hall.

Visited Pearls for breakfast & it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, everything was cooked to perfection. The tea was also really nice & the macarons were delicious! It does take quite a while to get a table but trust me it’s totally worth it. The atmosphere is great & the food makes the wait more than worthwhile. Highly recommend!

Sorry but food served 50 minutes after it's ordered it's just not acceptable, nor is only having one person serving on the bar with a queue of a dozen people. My burger was perfectly ok but it would have been good if one of the patties have not been overcooked. Must do better.

Nice food give it a try your not gonna be disappointed

Booked for a family group lunch. We hadn't been for years, but we were pleasantly surprised! It was busy and there were plenty of staff - mostly young, but they were efficient but could have been a little more attentive. Good choice on the menu, and the food was really tasty and good sized portions and well presented. We did have to wait a while for our meals and puddings but we were a group of 8 and it was busy ....so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We all said we'd go back again and enjoyed it!

Beautiful building in a lovely location with near 360° views! The staff are attentive and cheerful and friendly.

Lovely fish and chips also nice sized portions.

Lovely pub great atmosphere friendly staff, great food, reasonable price 👌. It's worth a visit ....
