The best restaurants serving British food in Bradford Yorkshire and The Humber

We enjoyed the standard size carvery. The roast and vegetables were well cooked and very tasty. The selection of vegetables was more than ample.

All available tables were full of dirty glasses and dirty plates. A total disgrace. I am sick and tired of this bar over the last few months. It has totally deteriorated.

This was my local pub. Spent time here with my family as a young man from discussing my university choices with my mother to catching up with my grandmother. Wrote parts of my thesis here. The food was affordable but good, the atmosphere relaxed. This was a sit down and eat pub where you could linger after your meal or come in late with a laptop to work over drinks. Quiet cosy and friendly. It was also filed with books and photographs steeped in local history. But after the pandemic the owners sacked the chef and sold the kitchen and fewer and fewer people came. It wasn't financially viable as a wet pub in an area where many came to eat and quite a few are tea total. Only time will tell what happens next but the owners have shown no sign of reopening.

We went her last Sunday for a family get together for Sunday lunch. Lovely hone cooked food with plenty of meat. It's rare to get home cooked food to we were all very happy. The staff were warm and friendly and ill definitely be returning.

Slightly disappointed to arrive on a lovely Saturday afternoon at 3.00pm to find the doors locked and nobody around. The opening times are too varied and not clear enough.

The pub interior and exterior was very welcoming. The food was excellent. I had the sea bass and my Mum had the vegetable penang curry. I thought that the sea bass dish could have had a bit more potatoes and veg but otherwise it was very tasty. Jess provided outstanding service and was very friendly. When we wanted our puddings and coffees brought together Jess did this and even added a small flapjack with the coffee as my Mum likes. We enjoyed the meal very much and will be back.

I ordered a burger today from Oaklane after I ordered euros and there was hair in it they burger I ordered has hair in it this is not the first time I have ordered it and it has hair almost every time I order it has hair in it I would not get it from here today either but there was no other place I would not recommend getting food from here some times when my family orders it is fine but when ever I order it’s always my food it was on my chips

We came down for the first time for bonfire event with our 1 year old and 4 year old! We got there about half 5 and got some drinks with minimal bar queue. The display was amazing! Really impressed and perfect length for young children, also great start time for young children too so thank you! Will be back next year! Might be an idea to have a bottle bar outside in the car park for when the inside bar gets busy, gives people other options for drinks.

Always great food here this visit was no different. My friend enjoyed fish n chips and I enjoyed sausage and mash - recommend

Been eating at Haworth Old Hall over the last 5 years when we visit Haworth. Why? The olde world feel of the place . The friendly and professional staff . The quality and variety of meals, excellent service and finally its value for money . Looking forward to our next visit .

We recently had our wedding reception & meal at the fox and can’t praise this place enough. From the minute of booking the communication and service was beyond excellent, nothing was too much trouble! On the actual day the staff present upstairs in the function room were incredible, they were so friendly and happy and made sure everything ran so smooth. The food (we requested a Sunday dinner menu) was served in great portions and we had nothing but empty plates and amazing feedback from all our family members and the quality was just as good as it has been every time we have visited the fox. I honestly cannot praise the fox and each staff member enough, from multiple visits and especially the wedding reception from day one they made everything run so smooth, have been so helpful and so nice. Everyone felt immediately comfortable and at ease, the food and atmosphere was amazing and intimate, the servers were brilliant and again we have had nothing but great feedback from all our guests. Thankyou so much to the fox and all the staff from chefs to the managers and if you are looking for a place to hold any events - I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Waited for an hour for three breakfasts, absolutely chaotic even though it was not too busy. By the time the food arrived the waitress (who was very nice) apologised and offered complimentary drinks. A few minutes later she returned to say the manager told her that she could not give us free tea / coffee. The whole experience at Asa is at best poor, food has taken a nose dive, and as for the management please don’t get me started. Used to be a regular treat but not anymore. Plus very poor hygiene in the bakery, no hairnets, eating and drinking in a food prep area, needs a full overhaul. As someone who works in the food industry at BRC level it was shocking to witness.
