Went for a carvery today the service and food were excellent. Will definitely be back

The food and service at the restaurant was great will be back again

From the moment I entered, the staff's attentiveness and professionalism stood out.They were courteous, knowledgeable about the menu, and displayed a genuine commitment to ensuring guests felt welcome. Our server Chantelle was really nice and friendly and very helpful.The prompt and efficient service further elevated the dining experience, making it clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Grubby, dirty glasses, dirty tables. Watery mash potato, small portions of meat. I usually don't go to thee places but was starving. Came out just as hungry.

Me and the family visited yesterday for our Sunday dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and always happy to help. 100% recommend especially the Yorkshire puddings! Thanks

The plates are always dirty, Karen the staff worker gave me dirty look’s because I wasn’t under 12 to have a child’s plate and she’s so miserable, she could do with a smile 🤨, False advertisement- no black pudding 😒

We normally go to the Keighley Toby Carvery, which is excellent. The Bradford one is really poor. The food wasn't great. Veg and gravy not missing, service was rubbish, kept us waiting at the door whilst they chatted amongst themselves.

Price has increased and food quality decreased. Went for breakfast, beacon soaked in salt... Gravy has changed significantly. Always missing eggs.

The Food was fine the poor servers are running around like dogs doing their best but under staffed. The women on the tills can't count or do her job correctly won't accept your voucher codes and will over charge you .

The carvery was good quality and there was plenty to go at. Hafeez was our server, he was polite and enthusiastic which made the whole experience quite pleasant.

Meat server very caution with portion size gave girlfriend scraggy end but he not bothered .she not eat veg so no value for her I complained but no show he like a robot

Food was excellent and so was our waitress. Lamb was apparently available but not signed like the other meats so we missed out.

Ordered for priority delivery from here. Food came within 15 minutes but it was clap cold and ignored that we wanted stuffing on both meals. Would never order again. Best bit is the audacity to put a sticker on it saying “Eat straight away, do not reheat”! Very obviously is pre made and kept to one side so you’re priority orders can go faster so we will pay more for it. Currently trying to get a refund from Uber eats but if I can’t get all my money back I’ll definitely be demanding it from the restaurant. Nowhere near worth £35. Would strongly urge anyone who sees this to never order for delivery from here.

If it wasn't for the mac and cheese, it would have been a 1*. Paid the extra 1.99 for more meat and the 2 chipolatas. Got the same amount of meat as the others who didn't pay for the extra. The chipolatas were very well done. The beef was so fatty that the wife couldn't eat any of it. I think in future I will continue going to the Hitchin post in Idle as its cheaper and you get more choice.

Customer service pretty shocking, more bothered about standing and talking to there colleagues. Hardly any food out, the food that was out was so plastic and bland. No help to get more fresh stuffing or fresh veg, this place used to be good back in day. The meal came to £30 and the only thing we got enough of was mash because thats the only fresh thing they had out.. Thats expensive mash! Staff are miserable, didn't want to help and came across arrogant. Sorry probably won't ever return to Tobys again, theres better pub grub out there than this place 👎

Hello I’d like to say a big thank you to the young man think he was called Troy he was the perfect hose he was kind funny helpful an made sure we had everything we needed till the very end so 5* goes to you hope he gets a menshion it was my birthday Carol conway I prebooked a party of 9 x an I’m the one who waited for the roast potatoes with the dripping on in case you was wondering who I was hahaha x

Don't know about other Toby's, but this one has been going down hill for the past few years. Watery gravy, very little choice in veg and potatoes, dry and fatty meat. The prices are ridiculous compared to the quality of food. There's very few healthy options for veg, no new potatoes only roast potatoes that are soaked in fat, cauliflower covered in a cheap looking cheese-like sauce, and they still have mac & cheese for some reason (I guess it's just cheap to make). The only good veg is peas and carrots, which are nothing special, I'm paying £13.50 for peas and carrots with some dry turkey? Might as well just make my own. All the food choices are focused on saving money, yet they charge high prices. Don't think I'll ever go to a Toby again, just not worth it at all.

Food was incredible as usual, had the buffet. The only issue was that there was no cutlery on any of the tables! Some of the young staff were walking round like zombies but I guess that's an age thing lol! Will definitely come again! The carrot and potato nake is bloody delicious 😋 xx

Spot on even with it been so busy for mother's day.

Fabulous place to eat, with a good selection of food expertly prepared and delicious. Well done to Ash and all the kitchen staff for all their hard work. Great place to take children. Large car park. The toilets were spotlessly clean. The staff were all brilliant, and so well organised especially as the place was so busy due to it being Mothers Day, although no one had to wait very long for their food. Special mention to Rachel for her excellent customer service. Well worth a visit.

The food is really good but the carver must have been a brain surgeon in his previous life. When asked what meats I would like I always have a slice of whatever meats are available but here all that was on offer was a taste of each. Having said that the service is excellent 💯%👍👍👍

Went to Toby’s yesterday to grab a bite to eat, the meat was too fatty for me personally but my brother really enjoyed it. Our server Chloe was lovely, she kept making sure our meal was up to our standards whilst also engaging in a quick chat with us. She made our day better and easier loved the service!

22 of my family booked lunch at Toby Carvery, Bradford to celebrate a birthday. We chose Toby Carvery as its central for my family , so a perfect venue for us to get to with lots of parking spaces. We had the back room, which was perfect for the amount of people. I booked at the end of January, with it bring a large number of people, especially on Sunday I paid £50 to secure our reservation. Caitlin W was our waitress and she was fantastic, greeted us with a smile. She was so accommodating and great with my camera to take a family photo. Our experience was fabulous, we we're all happy and will return again. Thank you to Caitlin and Toby Carvery Bradford.

I have been to the Bradford many times with family always a nice carvery . Went on Sat night lamb was on the carvery menu . There wa a few ppl in front of me , all that was left of the lamb was a bone a small amount of dry meat and fat . I asked if there was anymore lamb politely the chef said he would get some out of the back when it was my turn and I asked for lamb and he went to put the fat and dry meat on my plate I refused this . I would not have given it to my dog . He asked me what else I wanted with no attempt to bring a fresh joint of lamb out . Feel very bad customer service .

I love your carvery it is very hot and delicious

The food was lovely although there was very little evidence of customer service. We we shown our table and then no one came to see if we wanted carvery or drinks or food from the menu. I had to ask for cutlery and napkins and also had to chase for desserts although at one time there were 3 young guys congregating at the till area right next to us certainly not talking about if customers needed serving. Whilst waiting in the bar area there were a group of adults with young children who clearly did not wasn't to talk to their children about how rude it is to swear and crawl on tables that we were sitting at and not them. I know you cannot help this but surely there should be some rules regarding the comfort of 'other' customers and notices put up. My family and I had to move twice and made to feel very uncomfortable whilst waiting for our food.

The best carvery we have had for ages, massive Yorkshire Puddings, perfectly cooked meat and veg. The team at the carvery were all very helpful. Thank you!

The place is dated inside and out. Its not as busy as it used to be. Needs a re-paint and need to be a bit cleaner specialy the ladies . However the service was good and the food was nice.

Super busy as it was last day of the promotion booked a table but still had to que for around 30 minutes but the food was hot and fresh

Tried to serve scrap ends of meat to us after we paid top price . I asked him to take it off my plate and give me a cut from the new joint. He did but only gave me the smallest portion you have ever seen. I had to remind the fktard that in the menu, king size included extra meat. The server must have shares in the meat suppliers ..

Decent enough place. Miles better than the Morley one

We thought the veg choice limited. Staff not very forthcoming. We did however note one of the team Harley who seemed to have a large section to run. He was racing around trying to keep everyone happy very hardworking but the only one we noted. Tables were without cutlery and salt and pepper we noted on our table and also saw others walking around looking for the same. Brought to the table not given instruction on how to order and drinks took a long time to come. We did not order dessert as we thought the service was so delayed and inattentive however Harley needs a pay rise.

Only one star as there was not a child's breakfast menu, having to pay nearly £8 for a 2 year old who hardly eats much is a disgrace, will never use again ,what a rip off.

As carvery places go it's not bad but just don't expect them ever to have any beer on. Added. Downgrading to a 1 for taking 8 years to reply. And thanks but I don't think I'll be taking up the offer.

A busy venue (It was a Saturday dinner time) and therefore food was fresh, hot and very nice. A large venue, plenty of space. Plenty of room in the car park. Overall a good experience, will no doubt return at some point.

Easy to book. Easy to park. Quality of food. Quantity of food. Reasonable price. Pleasant surroundings. It was very busy but staff were clearly working hard and were still friendly. Only one vegetarian option which didn't include mushrooms and vegetarian guest is allergic to mushrooms. Recollection from a visit in summer 2023 is that there were more options

Staff were very friendly, the place was fairly cleany. Don't forget to register your car on the tablet as you enter to avoid parking charges

Vast contrast to our last visit which was great. At the carvery, small, scratty, unappetising piece of beef left when asked about it was told that had to be served before a fresh one could be brought out. We left it and had alternative. The vegetables were OK but the on the surface where we stood and the floor underneath had squashed veg and potatoes. Overall the pub had customers but not overly busy and it could have been cleaned up in minutes. The server forgot out drinks and I had to ask for them. Disappointing to say the least

Seating was perfect for the 8 of us. Extremely disappointed about the 50% off voucher in main meals as this didn’t include children. As far as I am concerned, if a child has a Carvery this IS a main meal for them so why doesn’t the voucher include them? It ended up the childrens meals cost more than the adult meal and they didn’t eat as much. If and I mean if, I was to go to Toby again with this offer I will book all children as adults. Very disappointing.

Attended this afternoon, really nice meal and lovely staff. Was shown to our table by Amy who showed us how everything works for the carvery.

One of my favourite places to visit attended today at 1 and the service from Amy in particular was amazing ensured all our needs were catered to and had a lovely carvery and pudding 😊

I visit frequently with my mother and grandad (the brown sauce fan). We normally come on Saturday when it's a bit quieter but today despite being busier the service was brilliant.

Haven’t been here in years and thought it would make a change. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, lots of choice and everything was cooked lovely. My only gripe was the food was only warm and the gravy could have been hotter.

Service abysmal, server Mylie rude and abrupt, absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. Food was average. We were stuck on a table in the very back corner like we were in segregation. Not likely to be in a hurry to return.

Boxing Day visit - Party of 12 The member of staff who was taking the orders had no interest in being there so much so that both our large party and the other party in the same room both sarcastically commented on how she was full of the Christmas spirit!!! Her customer service skills and manners were shocking and she was later heard bossing another team member about saying he needed to go clear the tables she was looking after. That member of staff apologised for the starters not being cleared when we came over and at this point had finished our mains and that it should have been done by the person serving us. I understand it was boxing day and she probably didn't want to be at work but if you choose to work in hospitality then unsociable working is expected. This was our 3rd visit on Boxing Day and has questioned if we will be back in 2024 or go elsewhere.

It was Xmas dinner I ordered No sprouts or pigs in blanket. Beef lamb hardly any and it was covered in red cabbage way too much it dyed the the meat . 3 people didn't like it either. There was no options to say whether you wanted it or not

Meat portions were small too much veg and potato just spoiled the meal due to the meat

Really bad service, rude and unprofessional waiter and when we mentioned to a senior member of staff they laughed it off as ‘oh yeah we knew you might complain’ but no apology.

My 9 year old granddaughter attended this morning 17/12/2023 with her auntie for breakfast with Santa, I have received a video of the visit in which all I can say is Santa was very rude and bullied her, I am not happy at all with this service and must say Santa needs to have some training on how he speaks to children and how he makes them feel…….. very disappointed 😤😡

Good service the meal was hot and you could go back for seconds (veg only ) we got the festive menu prawn cocktail the (butter) wasnt it was some horrible spread i had to leave the bread as it tasted awful but the carvery was nice

The air temp was cold which had an effect on the breakfast your paying for hot food but this could not be manage

Fairly regular visitor and service usually good . Sometimes can be overly busy if special offers are on and therefore service can suffer slightly. Really need to book table in advance on such occasions and

Booked breakfast with Santa for my 2 year old grandson had 2 wait for half an hour just to book in it was a total shambles, thought if you booked you would be seated. Finaly Got to the breakfast self service and almost all food had run out was told to wait for the hash browns waited 10 minutes or so to then be told I would have to come back later as they still wasn’t done, by the time I sat down to eat all my food was stone cold. Not a good experience at all.

Not been to a Toby in years. Really impressed with quality and choice of 4 meats. The veg selection was plentiful and the roast potatoes spot on. Great value in my opinion. 👍🏻

One of the best Tobey's I've tried. Been for Breakfast, Lunch and Tea on Sundays and other days. Just good quality food for the cash with pleasant service and environment.

The staff in the restaurant were rude, with little or no manners used. Restaurant tables were dirty with food and drink still on them when we sat to have pre dinner drinks. The ladies toilets were an absolute disgrace, only one toilets was working the rest were out of order toilet paper all over the floor, dirty and smelly !

Pudding was minute (rice pudding) not worth anyway near £5

Dropped into Toby for a quick carvery today, first time in over 20 years, never really rated it before.... what a change, the food was amazing, the guys working there were friendly, polite and very attentive. Nothing bad to say, two massive carvery's and two cokes 24 quid, can't argue at that.

First time had breakfast there it was really nice went back for seconds but could have turned heating up was quite chilly otherwise would have been spot on staff and management were very friendly and welcoming

Very good breakfast just a shame the air temp was so cold because the food came reasonably warm but went cold in a couple mins but will return for carvery or another breakfast. Staff in festival dress near fell off seat when someone came round corner dressed as Santa Clause

We were disappointed with the food temperature. It's was only aired . It was nice to have freshly toasted bread . Coffee and tea were nice and hot . Nice to have refills.
