Visited the Oken tea rooms today for lunch. What a lovely cosy atmosphere and greeted with a smile from Hannah the owner and her lovely staff. We sat downstairs and enjoyed an afternoon tea. Wow!!.. the sandwiches were delicious the fresh granary bread is amazing. I had coronation chicken and my wife had Hummus and caramelised onion chutney . Both were excellent... Fresh scones ditto. So many cakes to choose from you need to come back again and again just to try them all. I had the chocolate fudge cake which was delicious. A large choice of Loose leaf tea is on offer here which is great, and you can even buy some to take away afterwards. We were well looked after as was everyone around us . If you are in Warwick it's well worth a visit. Plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs

Went on Sunday 11th Feb, food ok, could have been hotter, would have told them, if anyone bothered to ask, service very poor, young team, no leadership, slow with drinks, took 3 attempts to deliver 1 coffee, brought over with no sugar, had to be asked for, no spoon had to be asked for. No goodbye

We have visited the Warehouse since 1976 and although not regulars due to living in London for most of the time since then we have never had a bad experience. The food has always been great. We have no problems should the menu be limited. It has been wonderful to eat at a vegetarian venue and I am very sad to hear of the closure. There have been ups and downs over the years and I'm just hoping that for Birmingham's sake someone will come to the rescue. Vegetarianism and Veganism are in vogue so what's the problem?

Wonderful Sunday Lunch. We cannot remember when we have had such an excellent meal out. No ping ping bought in processed food here. Fresh vegetables, beef was to die for, enormous home cooked Yorkshire pudding. The dessert menu looked lovely but we all were too full. Definitely going to be our first restaurant of choice. Thank you to all of the staff, both front and back of house for a lovely meal.

We booked here as it is we located for Stratford upon Avon and Chipping Campden. We found it difficult to park when we arrived sonit would be good to have some spaces for residents only. The room was lovely and clean and had a nice bathroom with good toiletries. However the room was very small, with a huge unit in the corner and every surface was full so it felt cluttered and you were limited on space for your own belongings. Perhaps replace that unit and the tiny bedside tables with small drawers to maximise space. The food in the restaurant was very good and the chef was very attentive to our needs. As reaidents itbwoumd have been nice to have a cosy sofa or something in the bar to relax after dinner. The place has lots of potential - it just needs some tweaks. We do recommend d dining there.

They had an issue with their phone today (hadn't been put on their charging cradle correctly so phone kept dying in the first minute of a call). First time I called I checked whether the cov game would be on and then it died. Second time, I got as far as saying I wanted to book a table but provided no details of time, numbers etc and the phone died. I gave up and hoped we'd be able to get a table by just turning up. The guy behind the bar asked if I'd called and I said yes, he was profusely apologetic, had a table ready for us in case we showed up and it was right by the TV. Service was then prompt and excellent and just little things like we are a family of four (one in a pushchair not eating, one who is 5 eating a kid's meal). When he brought the pot of cutlery and sauces over: two sets of adult cutlery, one set of children's cutlery. We had brought our own children's cutlery as usually places don't have any but even when they do, we normally have to ask for it. Food was neither too slow nor too quick and was superb in terms of taste and presentation. Specials were appealing and the menu was varied and sounded great. We had a chicken salad, signature burger and kid's burger. The burgers are from Aubrey Allen 👍🏾. Desserts were also good, I particularly enjoyed my chocolate bread & butter pudding. Finally, to cap it all off, we walked in with Cov trailing 2-0 at half time and left victorious; 3-2 over Luton with an injury time winner. I'll eat there every week if they can get us promoted...

We had a long wait for our table which was precooked for 1pm. ( party of 11 ). A long wait to take drinks order and for them to arrive. Food order was taken which took even longer to arrive. A second round of drinks were ordered only for the waitress to drop a glass ( accidentally) which smashed onto a family members meal, glass everywhere on the table, the meal was replaced eventually. When the bill arrived, no discount was offered to make up for the mishap and a service charge was automatically applied. I feel that if you want to pay a charge it’s a personal choice, I’m not in favour of it being added without asking first, so rude. Finally a word about the food, it was ok, portion sizes varied somewhat for what they charge. Overall it was my first visit here, cant say that I was impressed any. The garden centre itself was good, instore was very Christmassy, a nice atmosphere.
