The best food, best people, best time spent there. Welcomed warm and service amazing. Highly recommend. Food is tasty and definitely makes you want to come back over and over.

Stayed here for 1 night....it is very overpriced for a very small room with no breakfast. Breakfast was an extra £12.50 and had been warmed up in the microwave. At the bar I ordered a Bulmer cider and thought it didn't taste right....when I looked it was 6 months out of date. I wouldn't stay here again...not worth £130.00 with no breakfast.

First time here and experience was truly amazing! Hospitality was outstanding and the food was delicious - so full of flavours.

Good food great portions friendly service and good value for money

Just visited this place for the first time. I had a burger that I couldn't finish and a nice pint. I then left and went on my way, completely forgetting to pay. One of the staff members caught up with me in town and told me I hadn't paid about as politely as it is possible to say it. I obviously apologised for my mistake and returned to settle my bill. Really sorry for my mistake that was all mine. This review is the least I can do to attone for my mistake. Give these guys a chance but please remember to pay.

Brilliant pub near New Street Station. Great beer selection (if a little pricey). Great interior, very unusual.

Was a lovely place. The food was good, the puddings were amazing but the staff could do with being a little more attentive. Also, being ushered off the table more than half an hour prior to the allocated time was a little bit rude. Paying and the bar were all a little unorganised.

Security who do there job, good food and decent staff . Facilities are ok stayed over quite often no complaints.

Take-away. The famous Staffordshire Oatcakes sold here!. Cooked fresh every day. Filled oatcakes coffee cold drinks. I couldn't believe their 30 inch filled oatcake!!! Yes 2 feet 6 inches across Just Wow. Or their 'Eddie Hall ' breakfast. Delivery service too. Parking on site but limited at busy times opens 5am til noon Friday Saturday and Sundays only. Be aware that they sometimes close 10 minutes earlier than advertised if sold out. If you are late - ring to see if they are still open. A very friendly family business. Highly recommened

We all love The Lazy Trout. Beautiful pub, full of character with open roaring fire. Delicious food as always, plentiful and competitively priced. Friendly & efficient staff. Thank you Alison and all staff. We will be back again soon.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on our way home, we had booked a table online an hour or so before We arrived to the table set and with a high chair as we had requested, and a friendly member of staff took our food and drinks order Food arrived very promptly and was very tasty and served pipping hot. Good value for the food Pub was spotlessly clean, and all the service was friendly and efficient Will return to try something more than just a quick lunch
