Amazing Place. We both had fish & Chips comes with little salad. Fish good size is was the best we have tasted in a long time. Value for money £10 pound each + we had mushy peas + curry sauce both good quality extra £2 pound each on top. Bill £12 each per person Bonuse you can sit inside. very clean. Lovely staff. Recommend 100%.

Very good fish and chips. Reasonable price. Love their set menu offering under £8 meal for students and pensioners. Friendly staff. Good service as we decided to eat in. We had haddock which was good. My partner tried out jojos which are potatoes fried in chicken fat. Tasty. We ordered mushy pea and curry sauce too. Both are delicious. Red and jolly deco. Toilets very clean. Will be back if we are in the area. Like a place who looks after the community.

There's always a friendly greeting when you enter. We have tried several items from the menu and without exception everything was very good. The portions are very generous and always freshly cooked to order. I would have no hesitation in recommending Monica's for good, wholesome value for money food. We will definitely be returning.

Weirdly… this was the best fish and chips we have ever ordered! We ordered from Uber Eats, quick delivery, lovely delivery driver and super tasty food! I wasn’t expecting much because there was an awful lot on their menu, but be assured the fish and chips is worth much more than what you pay! Delicious.

If I ever called other chip shop best in town,I changed my mind and this one is so far best in whole UK.By the way,there coffee is more than amazing.Best place to eat or drink really.

Members of staff very helpful and friendly, Not bad portion size, I'm they'd give more if asked. Overall very good quality all round, tasty food, nice local atmosphere plus an option for takeaway. Only real criticism the coffee could be stronger but that is just personal preference. Awesome will be back....

Today we decided to have a lazy lunch so made our way to Evesham and visited our favourite chippy. We both decided to have sausage and chips with curry sauce. Usually we have fish and chips so today was a change. Our meals were both really good so 10/10 and well done

Stopped here for a quick takeaway lunch on our cycle ride-ordered a meal deal meat kebab with chips and salad (9,50). We shared one meal for two, and we were full (bear in mind how big the portions are). The staff guys were very nice and friendly.

The best chippy iv ever tasted!.. portions are huge at great prices! My Mum And Grandparents eat through the menu and everything is to perfection!!!. (There is Litterally everything to offer!) They are almost weekly regulars!... Huge pieces of chicken and the Jojo's are spot on! (Jojo's and southern fried chicken are becoming rare finds these days, so glad they are still available here). Really can't fault this place!. Sooo good they are on uber eats now too!. We don't get to eat out as often as we like. But when we do! We are well looked after... Though they offer a lovely cosy diner to eat in aswel!. (Make sure you book up in advance, as they become very busy!.) Super friendly lovely caring staff!!!!. A pleasure to be around!!. We have used Monica’s for a long time, however recently they seem to be going downhill, I ordered a portion of southern fried chicken and chips. Time 18.40 chips over cooked and hard, chicken looked like it was rewarmed from lunch, coating was dark almost burned, tasted of fish and was so dry, it was truly awful, it went in the bin, we won’t be going back for a while, we will vote with our feet. It’s a shame really as in the past it was really good and they do the best salad.

was missing my lamb donor on my kebab was told to pop down and they would replace it was greeted with a rather lairy attitude from both stff members only to told they would not replace it foriners always quick to take your money but wen wrong dont like to own up waste of time customerservice is awful use hamtons much better hands down

Went in there at lunchtime , about four people behind the counter and one other person waiting .I ordered a portion of chips and sat down to wait .after ten minutes I asked why it was taking so long and was told it wouldn’t be much longer .ten minutes later I was served with my “chips “When I got to my van to open and eat them I was met with a bag of shrivelled dried up bits of potato which looked nothing like fresh chips.where they had got them from is a mystery. They went straight in the bin.

Took 40+ mins for my food and was a dodgy atmosphere with dodgy people around and the chips were cold when I started to eat them and the service was appalling don’t recommend anyone to order or go there it was over all shocking

This place is slowly going downhill for reasons I’m not sure? Every time making orders the items are not available by the time of collection, and the prices have gone ridiculously high!

If they called this a sit down and served it a bit neater it would be best around food is great

Only called for two portions of fish and chips. Waited 25 minutes while others were served who arrived after me. Not sure fish was cod but chips were awful. They tasted stale and had either been kept warm for ages or had been reheated. May not be calling here again.

We’ve recently moved here and hoping to find a great fish and chip shop, like the one we had back home. Unfortunately Monica’s wasn’t it, the large fish was all dry and chewy, split and mainly burnt batter, the potato fritters (scallops) was covered in a batter that was all soggy inside, the chips and curry sauce was nice, but absolutely not worth the £18 we paid. Sad to say we won’t be going back again

Worst takeout iv had in ages, staff didn’t appear that friendly, appreciate raw materials have increased in price but this meal for what I was served was day light robbery, never to return and will tell all my friends

By far the best roe and chips I've had in years. Proper chunky chips (I ate most of mine which is unusual), lovely crispy batter and I was asked if I wanted salad rather than just being given it...it was nice and fresh too. Lovely, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Only one tiny negative...in the pot of tea for two, it could do with another tea bag, it was a little on the weak side. The old 'rule' is one for each person and one for the pot, so 3 in total. Apart from that I really can't fault it and we will definitely be back.

Food ok but prices ridiculous was £1.70p for can of pop i had spam fritter and chips bread roll with can of pop nearly £8.00 .

We visited Monica's on our recent visit to the Cotswolds and decided we wanted some chips. We drove into central Evesham from the A46 and Monica's is just past the traffic lights on the right hand side. Ordered 2 x portions of chips on our first visit and really enjoyed them. The medium portion is more than enough for two. We returned again a couple of days later again this time ordering chips and a fruit Slush. On our last day ordered just two Mountain slushes (ice cream and flake in top) which were very nice in the warm weather. Always seems to be busy any time of the week and locals seem to like it which is always a good sign. I spoke to a local person outside while looking to see which Slushes to order and he told me how good the kebabs were. We did not try any of the other hot food, but I imagine it would be good and is definitely worth trying and seems to be a good selection. All staff I met are all very efficient and friendly and food did not take despite how busy they were. Have visited Evesham for a number of years, but I can't believe we didn't find Monica's before. Highly recommend visiting and we will visit next time we are in Evesham.

After hospital appointment decided to visit Monica’s for lunch, saving wife cooking after busy morning. Staff were very friendly and within minutes we were ordering our meals. We both ordered mini fish and chips and a welcomed cold drink. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the waitress took a picture of us about to tuck in. We will keep coming back and that’s a promise

Best chippy in Evesham. Wide ranging menu, generous portions, good prices, friendly staff, and the food is properly delicious! Fun anecdote: My partner is from out of town, asked me to get him a large portion of chips. Me - Are you sure you want a large? Him - Yes of course! Me - No, seriously, the portion is HUGE. Are you really sure? Him - I said yes! I always have a large portion. I then got him the large portion, and his mind was blown. "You could feed a family of four on this!!" He only made that mistake one more time before conceding that a regular portion is more than enough. His local chippy's "large," is the size of a Monica's "small!" I only wish they were open later, but this is understandable given it's a family business and I can't fault them for it. Definitely an Evesham staple either way.
