The New Inn is located in a quiet side street, about a mile east of Leamington town centre, via Radford Road. It's a traditional pub which does food - not a restaurant. The food is fairly straightforward pub grub - you're not going to find anything out of the ordinary on the menu. They do burgers, fish & chips, lasagne, and such like, and also sandwiches and jacket potatoes, lunchtimes only. We all enjoyed our food, following a pleasant walk to the pub from the town. I opted for the burger, which was a decent quality burger, served with chips and on a sensible plate (I add this point because many places annoyingly serve burgers on wooden boards or on plates that are too small, resulting in chips dropping off the side - no problems on this front at the New Inn). On the bar there are three or four ales to choose from, some from smaller independent breweries. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the service is good. This pub is well worth the walk from the town centre.

One of the best pubs in Leamington at the moment (maybe the best?). Brilliant beer, super snacks and perfect people. There's a large garden at the rear with clean wooden tables, many with umbrellas. There are two covered areas, one for smokers and a larger one for non-smokers. Highly recommended.

A lovely " local " style pub , with traditional decor . Good beer , great food . Sport being shown . The food we had was well presented , reasonably priced , and hot ( which I love ) , and very tasty . There was a variety of , sandwiches , jacket potatoes , burgers and other traditional pub food . It was however not very warm temperature wise . A good choice of music ( 80s ) was being played when we were there . There was a good range of ales , largers , and other alcoholic and soft drinks . Overall we had a really good visit , and would definitely go again .

The waiting staff repeatedly would not bring a menu to a table of 5 who were willing to pay for a meal, we asked for a menu and were greeted with ‘if you get one from inside’ from two separate waiting staff 10 minutes apart. I visited this pub a few months back just after the first lockdown was lifted. Just a few casual weekend drinks with a couple of friends. There was a medical emergency which lead to a few broken tiles in the bathroom, the land lady came into the bathroom shouting in a very unprofessional and aggressive manner which was quite scary. Both the land Lord and land lady (mainly the woman) were quite rude and unreasonable about the situation and also threatening. It was all taken way out of proportion and could of been dealt with, there and then without the agro, especially in their own establishment. Kudos to the bar staff, the young lad behind the bar was very nice and friendly. It is a shame as it's a nice pub however, looking at other customers reviews I am not the only customer that thinks the management is poor.

Used to like this place. Frequented it over last 13 years. Unfortunately the owners tend to have an opinion on other people’s business. To the point where they dictate to people who can come into pub purely down to local politics. If you want someone to offload to that will take sides and be unprofessional... this is the place to go

We visited for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely gorgeous!! The staff were friendly, a gentleman who looked like the manager greeted us on arrival and showed us to our table. Unfortunately we could only get in at 3pm at the earliest as we booked on the day (my advice is to definitely book in advance!) and by then, the chicken had sold out so there was only beef and pork left. However this was not a problem as I had the beef instead, and it was absolutely beautiful! As was the rest of the dinner - especially the gravy which was absolutely TO DIE FOR. You could really tell it was home cooking and we all really enjoyed it. My mum commented that it was one of the best Sunday dinners eaten out that she’s ever had! Would definitely recommend and at £14.95 for two courses it’s a steal really. Thanks so much!

We have had several roasts here as it is our aunts local. The lamb is inedible every time. A tiny bit of meat in a bed of fat. We only have it because all the chickens gone. We read about this old school pub in a guide somewhere and went for dinner. The parking is the weirdest ever. The pub has secured permission for patrons to double-park on the street with the proviso that you make sure those near the curb can get out. The pub is in the middle of the block in a mostly residential area. It was very busy which is always a good sign. The food was first rate. I had a wonderful braised lamb chop. I don't remember what the other three in our group had, but everybody was happy. I will return next September for sure.

We were made very welcome upon arrival by the landlords and shown to our table. Menu is not vast but comprises a range of carefully chosen dishes which were obviously freshly prepared and cooked. John, the head chef took our order personally and the food arrived in very reasonable time. The food was excellent. Rugby was being shown on the large screen TVs but as soon as the match ended, the TVs were switched off. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening in this busy but cosy and friendly pub/restaurant. The Sunday roast lunch is HUGE and you'll be going to finish it all. The owners are welcoming and really care about their clientele. The new Pimms, Prosecco and Cider bar in the big beer garden (open on summer weekends) is a brilliant idea, they even have blankets for the colder evenings. Very dog friendly. Quiz night is great fun and value for £1/head. These guys have managed to do what a lot of older pubs can't, and Leamington is lucky to have them.

When I placed the order it said 15-30 Kim’s and it ended up being an hour. Plus then the food was cold!

Booked the private room upstairs for a family birthday lunch. The food was delicious & service was excellent! Extra special fuss was made of birthday girl (decorations & candle on dessert!) Paying bill was really straight forward at end as they allowed us to set up separate tabs. A lovely afternoon had by all - wouldn’t hesitate to book again for a family occasion.

This pub is glorious. Jess, Adam and the staff team are the tightest of tight-knit bands. They've all got each other's backs, and new staff become part of the team and "get" the culture in the blink of an eye - it must be infectious! The beers are lovely. The food is home-cooked magic. In summer, the walled garden is a sun-dappled sanctuary from the bustle of life. In winter, the twinkling lights and open fires warm the soul. We love the New Bowling Green!!!
