The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to an event. To call this place “The hood breakfast” should be a crime under the trade description act! It’s the worst breakfast I’ve had in 53 years of my life! It should have been telling the way the server was throwing together the previous persons breakfast bap, dry bun being manhandled with no care at all that someone has to eat it. We ordered 2 x veggie breakfast with toast and tea.. £28 for what can only be described as inedible rubbish..I would have thrown it back but would have been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon if the hash browns had hit anyone, they were harder than a house brick. This place should be ashamed to provide such awful food at extortionate prices

Okey food, average service,went for for a birthday meal.what a disappointment.booked a table for 6.when we arrived no table war available.and end up waiting 30 minutes

Went for lunch ordered fish finger sandwich a chips. 6 of us in total, toasted sandwiches that the rest of group ordered looked delicious and also the jacket potato. I waited and waited, eventually my lunch arrived minus the chips I had ordered. The young man who bought my sandwich told me they were still in the oven. Tucked into my sandwich, but was disappointed to only see two fish fingers instead of three? Was it still in the oven? Then 10 minutes later Chips arrived, hot but undercooked, no fish finger, staff seem to have one speed which is SLOW. My advice is go somewhere else for lunch.

Old place, they told us that they were going to renovate it, the accommodation cost 80 and they don't have many, clients have a side access.

Another great breakfast at the Toby. We’re always looked after well by Nat who is always warm, welcoming and chatty. The food is good, hot and plentiful and Nat always greets us with a smile. It’s lovely to be able to chat like friends rather than just customers.

Comida absolutamente horrible. El personal está bien. Es un pub masivo, pero entiendo que los pubs están teniendo un problema ahora. Mis nietos comerán cualquier cosa cuando tengan hambre. No podían comer las patatas fritas ya que estaban crujientes por fuera pero congeladas por dentro. Mi pequeña carvery estaba tan mal que la dejé. Sólo salvé que mi papa asada estaba bien. A place from a nightmare. Not a week goes by without something being broken. Months pass before the manager deigns to order repairs. In Hanley M club spa with a view of the always open dirty toilet. My husband got such an allergy after using the M Club spa that he can't use the pool. Because he gets such a cough that he can't breathe. For me the most disgusting thing is that despite the lack of conditions, children are allowed in who walk and change among naked adults. The manager doesn't see any problem with this. Fortunately, our subscription to this place ends in two months. Membership in this place ended for my husband the loss of health.

This place is terrible, don't bother! The attitudes of the staff stink, they are rude, the prices are ridiculous for what you get, you get a small amount of dessert and you have to wait ages to get anything!

Shelves are empty, goods are stacked in the wrong place and some of the price hikes are unbelievable. A 185g box of maltesers were £2.75, now a 110g box is £2.84. Ferrero Rocher had been £6.50. went down for a week or 2 to £6.00, now £9.48. it's ridiculous.

Absolutely shocking experience! Disgusted by the state of the property and the room and lack of cleaning so obviously not done! Brought to properties attention nothing has been done! Do not know how this place is allowed to even be open! If I did not have my son with me I would have slept in the car, would have felt cleaner! Didn’t dare use the bath after the state of the toilet when we arrived! Draw missing of bedside unit, tv and remote wouldn’t work, have zero phone signal and can not get stable Wi-Fi connection! Thick mold on the windows! Please do not stay it’s the worst experience of a hote in my life a
