Fish Fare in Telford and Wrekin

Ordered a delivery, then cancelled 20 mins later as they had not started preparing the food and thought we would go there in the car instead but they do not refund the money. Lost over £20x won’t ever use again

We had a walk down tonight to get fish and chips as we live locally. We usually get them from somewhere else but as it was quite busy in town being the pheasants beer festival tonight, myself and my partner thought it would be a fresh batch of food as it’s the nearest chippy from the pub. How wrong were we! We got home eagerly anticipating our meal. The fish literally had a sicky smell! It was very overwhelming. The fish was rock hard and the batter was chewy. We quickly wrapped it up and put it in the bin. Avoid this place at all costs.

Been ther 3 times now and still missing loads off my order won't be using again absolute jokes cnt even call them as they turn the phone off like they know ther going to get complaints

Raw chips for the third time despite asking them to be cooked for longer. We'll be ordered from somewhere else from now on

I ordered two large fish and chips, delicious. Cooked from fresh it tasted great and at a reasonable price. Great customer service, very polite.

Auwful place. Shocking. Would not recommend. Fish was like rubber and was also ill after eating from here. Avoid at all costs and seek alternatives

Disappointed, repeatedly ordered & we know the food can be good. Today it was ruined by hot sauce instead of chilli sauce. Sorry but One bad experience has ruined it for for any future orders.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The chips were maybe a little over cooked but did taste pretty nice. Price wise was quite reasonable. A pleasant first visit

Our takeaway from fish fare tonight was perfect! Just how we wanted it and plenty of it! Chips are usually hit n miss n fish not so great in the past but the fish was lovely and not just batter. Chips were lovely too. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Thankyou!

First visit to Fish Fare in a long time, unfortunately won't be going again.. chips cold and pie not of best quality..

Only the 2nd time I've had food from here and it will certainly be the last. The chips obviously old, rock hard and tasteless! Only tried here as Smithfield Chip Shop was closed.

Nice chippy. Service is a bit slow but if you go to a chippy that's turning orders round at a rapid pace they're more likely to be wrong and they pay less attention to the food. The chips are good, as are the scallops. They do kebab in a naan as well which is a winner.

I got food poisoning from this place. They microwaved my savaloy sausage from frozen, it was grey on the inside. I had one bite and swallowed then I saw the zombie meat, the kebab was also bad. They microwaved the naan from frozen. Get rid of Chef Mike and do it yourself. Even their chips suck.

First time we have used them. Our meal was prompt, hot and tasty. Really enjoyed it. Best chip dinner we've had for a long time.

Microwaved the Naan and Sausage. Food tasted weird. I have been here for a month and... this is the first time I have felt sick from food I've ate. My boyfriend also has a bad stomach ache. I know the same owner runs this but the one HE WORKS at is fabulous and super delicious. This one... not so much. Definitely staying with the bosses chippy where he works. Edit: I just puked.

Average chips but very disappointed with the lack of safety measures (none) such as screens, masks, social distancing etc. A customer even allowed to walk behind the counter, no mask or hand washing. This was my first and last visit to this establishment.

Ordered food at 17:00 on the 1 hour/ asap, phoned them and they told me their systems were down, then the guy said he’s in his way, phoned back and they had still not done my order, told them to stick it, poor service will not use them again, good job the order was a cash order

Fish and chips salt no vinegar came plastered in vinegar mixed meat large kebab with no chips came just meat in a tray with chips a kebab is in a pitta to ring and be told that i got exactly what i ordered i no what i ordered and it wasnt what i recived wouldnt use this place again if they paid me

Ordered food was late called was told it was on its way 1 hour later it turned up cold and nasty. Had to cook something for my son as wasn't going to feed him what was delivered. The drink they sent with his food was full of sugar and no way was I going to give him that with the colourings in it.

Absulty rude!! Went to get some food and they get the order wrong so went back to see if they would change it and they refused to change it even though i told them i was allergic to the peas they put on my food. They got very aggersive and in my face and told me point blank they wouldn't change it. WOULDNT GO THERE AGAIN IF THEU PAID ME.
