Old place, they told us that they were going to renovate it, the accommodation cost 80 and they don't have many, clients have a side access.

Disastrous hotel. Musty old hotel. Electric heater in the room. Shower with continuous electric heater, toilet, sink on 1.5m². Hardly any light. No wifi! No working TV in the room. Never ever! And all for an outrageous £80. Just a disgrace. I don't even want to rate the breakfast. And the door to the scullery must always be open for fire safety reasons, bon appetit!

Very disappointed, we hadn't been to Hereford for a year and was looking forward to having lunch in The Wellington. Only two other couples in there which we found strange, this pub used to be so busy at lunchtime. We ordered lunch from a sullen dark haired young lady wearing specs who was more interested in her mobile phone than us. There was a table that needed cleaning which she ignored for ages, she never wiped it clean after clearing away the dirty plates. The wait was horrendous! And the pub was quiet, just a few in there We were tempted to ask for our money back and cancel the order The food took 45mins to arrive. And the cutlery was brought as an afterthought? Very disappointed tbh. We wondered if the pub had changed hands since our last visit, because it used to be so good. We always felt welcome. There was a super, lovely blond haired lady who worked there, she was a real asset to the pub, she always checked if you were happy with your meal, and could she get anything else for you, unlike the miserable young woman who served us today. It appears this poor service has lost them their lunch time trade. We won't be going back.

This place serves excellent meals! I had a Chicken and Bacon salad and hubby had the Battered fish selection Both were extremely well prepared and delicious! Staff were lovely and very helpful as we couldn’t get app to work at the table!
