It's one of the best Wetherspoon pubs we have visited. Really friendly staff, beautiful outdoor area & food was amazing

There was too much paperwork on the tables, Half near us were unusable being piled high with paper. A menu should be sufficient.

Decent food but dirty tables. Asked the staff to clear but they didn't, ordered on the app, slow service by spoons standard but they were busy. Dropped a couple of my onion rings , said would replace, had to chase. One set of cutlery between two ? Been to far better spoons

Delicious (small) American breakfast: pancakes, maple syrup, bacon, hash brown, Lincolnshire sausage, poached egg. Pefectly cooked and arrived very quickly. Lovely smiling friendly staff. Will definitely call in here for breakfast next time we're in town. Husband loved the fact he could have a pint that early in the morning.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was not that busy. Visited the ladies toilets and there were about 8 cubicles and not one of them had any toilet paper in them which obviously meant they had not been checked all day. This is NOT acceptable. Staff need training in basic hygiene rules.

Called in on a Wednesday evening, all appeared to be normal until we tried to order our meals on the app, this wouldn't work so had to que at the bar for 15 minutes, as only one member of staff working. We was then told sorry no food available due to kitchen refurbishment. Why wasn't any signs put out or better still on the entrance. The place was also a mess. Won't be going again

Cheap and cheerful. Beer is good value here and well kept.

I haven’t posted a review for anything in a long while. My husband & I had a day trip to Hereford this week - we quite often use Wetherspoons pubs when on a day out. I was so impressed with this one that I wanted to give praise where praise is due. We both ordered a breakfast, the food & drinks were served very quickly, the food was lovely & hot, the staff were friendly & great & checked we were happy with everything. We were also impressed with how regularly we saw the staff clearing tables & especially keeping the hot drinks machine area clean & topped up (something we don’t often see.) All too often Wetherspoons get bad reviews, this one was excellent!

Cheap and cheerful it's good for the price

Come here quite often for breakfast with my family. The food is sometimes lukewarm, but never cold. The tables are usually clean, but sticky and the floors underneath the tables usually have some food lying on them. It usually takes our food 30-45 minutes to come.

Typical wetherspoon. Good value food as always.

Food was really bad today, BBQ chicken melt was cold and the poppadoms tasted of fish...

Came in for some free hot refill drinks, priced at just £1.19 which is the cheapest I've ever seen them... clear tables... friendly staff and decaf too! Fully recommend.... this was a quiet Monday night, can't comment on busy evenings

Myself and my partner when to weatherspoons in Hereford for a meal but it was discusting the bacon tasted like it was chargrilled so I complained and he was given another meal but the same same again..... so I complained again but before I had chance to say can we have the money back the very very rude man said well I'm not cooking u another one u can have your money back..... I tried to say yes that's what we would prefer but he walked off. Some ppl shouldn't work in costumer service

It's a great venue for a reasonable priced meal or drinks. Staff are friendly, always clean and tidy. Sometimes very busy and hence service slows.

On a trip to Hereford called into the Kings Fee, to have a drink before catching the bus home. We had a lovely welcome by the bar staff local beer Old Hookey excellent as was the Merlot. The staff were busy clearing tables and providing meals, they did not stop. Lovely and clean and smelt really nice. We will definitely be back, thank you for making our visit a lovely end to our day out in Hereford.

Had to send my food back twice because it tasted disgusting after the second time it was still disgusting so didn't eat in the end.

Pizza and all-day brunch, excellent no issues.

At Spoons again today, food and drinks ok for what you pay. But why don't they put the heating on. People were sat on coats as it feels just like your sat in a wind tunnel. The place is freezing and its not the first time. It detracts what could be an enjoyable experience. You expect a pub to be WARM and welcoming.

App would not work correctly so had to order at the bar. But the staff we very friendly and it's generally clean but the toilets needed attention

Got my order wrong and was then asked to deal with it. Wasted £3.36

Recently visited. Bad acoustics, very noisy in there, need some sound attenuation. Some of the chairs are thread bare too. Staff not very chipper too…

The worst Wetherspoons has been in YEARS. No straws, no condiments to go with food, no check backs after receiving said food. Not overly busy in the pub (even for a Friday night). Organisation downright poor. Miserable staff and manager. Won’t be returning. Signed, someone who works (properly) in hospitality.

Stopped off for a bit of food and had the all day breakfast It was the dirty They must of cooked the bacon on a dirty floor it had black bits all over it and was a grey colour The chips looked and taste like they was soaked in dirty oil There was tables full of others people plates and in the whole time we was in there no one cleaned anything

Freezing, absolutely Freezing. Wear a coat, a big one! Food was good mixed grill and Korean chicken. Service to table was also good. It is December and cold!! We moved tables as the cold air from front door was becoming unbearable. Air con kicked in, so I put my coat on. Asked for the air con to be turned down and was told 'I'll try' no trying done, air con on, 12 customers sat in their coats. Close down is way more important, fridge lightw off before 11pm, ice trays emptied and cleaned, meanwhile the customers sat in my area are still wearing their coats. If 1 customer is wearing their coat, ask if the heating needs turning up. 12 people (in my arear) in their coats = get out of my pub so I can close on time!!! I have pics of the innocents in their outside gear if required

I was looking for somewhere to have to eat for teatime. The tables were filled with dirty glasses, plates or tables hadn't been cleaned. Also, I picked up a menu at a table or two and where sticky to see what was on offer,but I walked out in the end...

Dirty uncleared tables. Our food was basically put on top of previous customers plates. Asked at bar beforehand as tables we're messy. Didn't clear our table ,cleared others around us. Waitress moaned about no staff, only 2 on. Usual crap one has to listen to. Party of 4 ,never again. Filthy experience.

Atmosphere was non existant.. Not enough staff on duty. Those that were on duty were pleasant. The food took ages to arrive and was like warm. Linda the manager was not helpful at all.. Would not go back there again.

Due to the usual staffing levels, it's the norm to have to clear a table yourself before you can sit down and relax and eat. Generally just untidy, from the drinks machine to the tables as mentioned.

Very popular, food good value but nothing special. Drink typical Spoons but toilets below standard.

Party of 4 of us went in on 26 October 2024 and it was busy so we found a table and ordered our drinks on the App table 72. Waited 30 minutes no drinks, by now it had gone quiet. Went to the bar only to be told it was an hour to be served on the app. Got a refund and left. Won't be going there again.

Really enjoyed Kings Fee..no complaints and very good service and food.

Food was ok. Tables not cleared away or cleaned very well. Lots of little midgey flies around the raised area infront of the bar. One person on the bar with quite a few people waiting to be served.

4 of us all had a great lunch. Quick service and great prices. All 4 for £36 including alcoholic drinks. Easy to use App. 5 stars all round. Update: Been in twice this week (Nov 2024). No complaints. Good meals and good prices.

Food was fine, but was a very long time coming because girl taking order put down the wrong table number. Very lame excuses given. We did eventually get an apology from the lad who finally bought our food out.

As you'd expect from a weatherspoons! Cheep drinks but so many beer flies around the bar! Bar maid even watched me fish one out of my glass!

Went in today for a drink had to wipe our own tables moved table 3 times little fly's every where was told its been like it for weeks used to be great in there gone down in very fast

I went out with friends. I don't go out that often. I went to a cash machine prior. They wouldn't take cash. Said they don't take £50s. Did use to be a nice pub.

I've revisited this place and this time was a lot better the place was clean and tidy and staff very polite and helpful and the real ale I had from the weatherspoons beer festival was very nice

I was here for a meal with the wife and kids after a long school week, when a madman with a crossbow entered the establishment, the staff however let the fully armoured police, border lining military personnel, deal with the man. I was hoping the SAS base would have gotten involved as my son was very interested in the army, but I am glad that it was handled in a safe manner. My complements to the staff for handling it so well. Overall, a 10/10 experience.

Haven't been here before, but I heard someone who was carrying a crossbow around the colleges was arrested here.

Staff very unhappy always talking amongst themselves with filthy tables and mountains of glasses to clear not great.

Service: abysmal. Bar staff not numerous or fast enough. Managers buddy-bodying around and not helping their staff actually serve customers. Waited at the bar whilst a single bartender tried to serve 11 customers. After 8 minutes i left. Food: mid quality, slightly higher than mid price. Atmosphere: daytime drinkers, witnessed an old lady sneaking in bottles of tyskie, and pouring them into a pint glass, evening, drunk 19 year olds who like a bit of lariness

Ordered 2 large mixed grills, was then told only one available. Changed one of them for something else only for that to have missing items. Service pretty much non existent. Average food at best and a very poor atmosphere. Was expecting a little more for a Sunday afternoon. Won't be returning and wouldn't recommend

Items missing from orders. Had fish chips and chip shop curry sauce which was cold.. The missus had chicken bites with soy sauce and coleslaw..soy sauce pot arrived spotless clean minus soy sauce, which was rectified quickly and coleslaw missing completely. Which wasn't as we didn't realise till halfway through meal .

There were only 3 staff that I could see. All tables were dirty and littered with plates and food. Food was gross. Asked for lime and lemonade. Came flat and tasted like lime cordial. Would not recommend. The only saving grace was the toilets were clean

Sorry but you can't beat Weathspoons for value and quality. The fish and chips is just perfect. Nice quiet venue for lunch or dinner drinks and food at sensible prices. Wetherspoons is still good value for a lot of people, yet there are still some that think because it's cheap it'll be rubbish but you can't be further from the truth.

We decided to have a breakfast as we were going for a hospital appointment. The food was bland, cold and the eggs were terrible. The taste was cheap and will not go there again. Very disappointed.

I am well travelled & make sure I visit a wether spoons wherever possible - I have to say, unfortunately - that this has to be the most untidiest I have visited. Tables dirty, sticky,not getting cleaned, staff totally oblivious and walking straight plates left on tables, floors grubby. Staff walking past empty glasses on tables. I would I recommend this place - ummmm definitely not

A very clean spoons with friendly staff and a lovely big beer garden.

Had a cheeky pint at 9 am! £2.55 for strongbow dark fruits! Great price. Nice outdoor area. Well worth a visit.

Appalling that they allow tradesmen to work (drill/hammer /ladders above) whilst customers are eating, bits of fine plaster in the atmosphere from drilling! Shocking! How bout paying extra and getting them in beforehand???

Awful service, waited nearly an hour for a breakfast. Tables hadn't been cleared and most needed cleaning . After finding a table had to ask for it to be cleaned. You'd have thought I'd asked for a pot of gold. Never seen a pub in such a state

I think this is the best food I've had in a weather spoon, staff are very friendly.

Typical 'Spoons mix of ages and types . The outside area was pretty extensive with some of it covered which - given the weather - was needed. Good range of gins but several were missing on both nights that we went in.

Very good place, nice atmosphere, good service.
