I come here often for a bacon sandwich as their bread is always fresh and bacon done as I ask well done came last week and as usual asked for a bacon sandwich was told it will be a bacon bap oh I said do you not do bread now lady showed me new menu which showed a picture of a bap I said I always have your bread as its so fresh so she replied you could order toast and have it on that !!! Well surely if you do toast you can do it on bread she did then say I will ask the chef and I did in the end get a bacon sandwich but why make it so difficult to just tweak a menu especially when you did it originally

Very expensive at the restaurant, pity they didn't do special offers Sometimes for members, !! It was also expensive in the garden centre. I don't know what it is with these garden centres they are so overpriced with everything.

Genuinely don’t understand the negative comments about this lovely establishment. My daughter and I travel from Shrewsbury regularly for their superb carvery… never ever had a disappointing visit. The staff are very welcoming and helpful… I must mention NATHAN the carver in Particular, he is always very helpful and greets everyone with a huge smile and lovely humour there is absolutely no doubt that he is a huge asset to Toby Carvery. Thank you again Apley team for another delicious lunch.

I rarely give reviews to anyone, but you do. Together this place deserves a "0" Expensive, Disgusting coffee served after 15 minutes, I threw up after it, terrible service, terrible mess everywhere, especially in the toilet, owners please close this place!!!

Este lugar es absolutamente basura, además de mi reciente reseña que visité el domingo 6 de abril a eso de las 230 pm la persona odiosa allí dijo con un placer indisimulado que los sándwiches ahora estaban cerrados a pesar de que cierran a las 5 pm el domingo? Así que compré un pollo tikka samosa £ 1 - 85. Acabo de calentarlo y fue la PEOR samosa que he probado, sin sabor, sin pollo prácticamente no comestible. Este lugar se disfraza como un lujo y describirlo como mediocre sería una exageración grosera, es una basura sin paliativos de alto precio! ¡No vayas allí!

Claramente la gerencia no lee estas críticas ya que sufrimos exactamente como los clientes anteriores. El servicio era pobre - una camarera estaba mascando chicle mientras servía! En otros lugares donde he tomado el té de la tarde, los servidores explican lo que son los sándwiches y pasteles - no aquí. Los bollos parecían haber estado tomando el sol en el Caribe durante 2 semanas, estaban tan oscuros. Crujiente por fuera, pastoso por dentro. No había orgullo en el servicio o el establecimiento - una triste situación cada vez más común en Inglaterra. Es una pena porque el lugar podría ser mucho más.

Visited regularly for a fortnight. Much depended on the Barista on duty. On occasions the coffee was excellent but on occasions it was average and on one occasion unacceptable. Toilets were often of dubious cleanliness.Too often seats were taken by older clientele who seemed determined to make a cup last for ages so they could chat to their regular friends for an unreasonable duration.

I've been here in the past and it was OK so popped back for a quick tea. Was immediately struck by the fact there was only one customer but 6 staff members I was ignored for over 5 minutes. Just as I was about to leave a very abrupt blonde girl chewing gum asked what I wanted. I told her. Was then charged a different amount to on their price board. When I pointed it out she said yes. Prices have changed. No apology. Nothing. She then went and snickered with a lady wearing a head set, kept giving me the side eye and talking under her breath in full view. I eventually got my meal. Barely wrapped and no offer of a bag, I had to hold it together on the trip to the car. All would be barely permissable...i managed a business for 15 years so get that customer service can be sould destroying, but hope opening it after the 3 minute drive to park up to eat, the fact it wasn't wrapped properly meant it was cold. The chips were soggy, and quite frankly the smallest "large" portion ive ever seen. Add to that the fact noone was wearing any aprons, gloves or hair nets and staff were COVERED in ingredients, that's a 100% guarentee i wont return. If this was my first experience I'd have turned around as soon as I saw how dirty the staff and cooking area looked. But as a/ I'd had a positive experience before - albeit 12 months ago and b/ it's a Sunday night and I'm half way through a 5hr drive and nowhere else is open locally (I hate chinese) it was that or nothing. So in short. Between the sh**ty attitude of the staff, general filth, small portions and lack of preparation and care of the food - I'd advise all to avoid!

Great food and value great staff including Jow and Crystal. Really lovely service thanks it was really fresh tasting fish.

Me encontré con este lugar mientras estaba con mi hijo buscando un lugar para cenar y tuve una gran experiencia. El personal era muy amable con un buen sentido del humor. La comida era rápida y sabrosa y nos repartimos, La hora feliz estaba encendida en ese momento, así que los cócteles eran 2 por 1 y la mitad de la cerveza, El restaurante / bar donde estaba limpio y bien distribuido, En cuanto al costo, fue muy barato tanto para la comida como para la bebida.

Stayed at the Abel's Harp it's a hotel decorated shabby chic and in the country, it also has Glamping huts we found the staff Julz And Dermo fantastic that's the main reason for the five stars,we also had a beautiful steak dinner on our first night the rooms are not massive but more than adequate and are on suite,we also had fun feeding the alpacas that belong to the hotel,We found Julz does everything from 1st thing in the morning till after 10 at night don't know what she's paid but she's worth every penny as she made our stay extra special,my suggestion to the hotel is to put on a fast food menu at a reasonable price especially for the glampers then many would stay in the hotel vicinity and not drive to nearby villages for food.

Awful experience waited 45 mins after paying for 2 bubbles teas to end up having to ask for a refund. Kept bearding rude comments from one member of staff about how customers are not patient. I’ve never had to wait that long for a drink in my entire life. People after me had eaten and left and I was still waiting for my bubble tea
