Missoula Bar in Birmingham

Me encontré con este lugar mientras estaba con mi hijo buscando un lugar para cenar y tuve una gran experiencia. El personal era muy amable con un buen sentido del humor. La comida era rápida y sabrosa y nos repartimos, La hora feliz estaba encendida en ese momento, así que los cócteles eran 2 por 1 y la mitad de la cerveza, El restaurante / bar donde estaba limpio y bien distribuido, En cuanto al costo, fue muy barato tanto para la comida como para la bebida.

Excelente relación calidad-precio con 2 - 4 - 1 cócteles diarios Y 50% de descuento 5 - 8 dom - vie Buena comida por el precio y buen ambiente! No puedo quejarme del tiempo de espera a las 2 una pinta! ¡Más bien ve aquí y luego las cucharas a la vuelta de la esquina! Personal encantador, muy bien informado y muy educado conmigo y mis compañeros.

Visited early doors; Saturday 18 January, around 7pm. Myself and a group of approx 12 friends and family came here for pre-dinner drinks, as we had a table booked at a restaurant very close by. The state of the bar area is a bit grimy, could really do with a good clean and spruce! The WC was even worse, no loo roll, graffiti, very grubby! Upon purchasing the initial round of drinks the barman, although friendly, declared he had ‘itchy balls’ and proceeded to scratch said crotch area whilst making my drinks?! Shortly after, I went to the bar (was served by a female this time) to buy two cocktails - zombies, which were shoddily executed and even tho I was informed were ‘2-4-1’, was charged almost £12 ?! Would not rate, shall not return ! Grim !

Fui aquí para tomar un par de copas con algunos amigos después de un día de capacitación laboral. El personal fue asombroso. Muy complaciente para nosotros. Todo el equipo fue amable y muy hablador, lo que también dio un ambiente positivo a toda la experiencia. Recomiendo encarecidamente el cóctel Raving Rainbow, una bebida muy dulce y excelente para mirar también. ¡Fue incluso mejor ya que los cócteles son 241 entre semana toda la noche y hasta la medianoche los fines de semana! Mis amigos también estaban muy contentos ya que entre 5 y 8 días laborables, 50% de descuento en todas las bebidas, excepto el vino. ¡Muy feliz de obtener una pinta de Carling por solo 2! ¡Chas, Miro y el resto del equipo en turno ese día fueron geniales! Definitivamente lo recomendaría! !

Dropped in here for drinks and a meal before a matinee performance at the Birmingham Hippodrome, almost empty with just a couple of tables occupied outside. When we first asked how long food would be it was 45 minutes, and then we were told the chef had stopped taking orders as he was too busy. Our meal came about 50 minutes later and it was nothing special, go to the Dragon(Wetherspoons) at least the food will be prompt. Would not recommend

We ended up here on whim.... I kind of wish we hadn't. So it took a while to be served as the couple at the bar were busy in conversation Normally when I ask for a white wine spritzer I asked for any preference of the wine or whether it is a large/medium/small... nothing asked apart from if it was soda or lemonade. To be quite honest when she asked this I thought she was still talking to her friend behind the bar. We made our order of a starter and two mains Turns out the starter comes out with mains 40 minutes after the order was made. The waiter for lovely by the way But the starter of calamari and prawn with lemon mayo (photo attached) was just rubbish. Not sure if I am stupid but I cannot see any lemon mayo on this dish just a lemon. For 3 quid extra, not worth it Thanks but no thanks guys

A pleasant visit particularly as we could sit outside in the sun. The meals were good and fairly priced particularly given the location.

Got some good deals on food on our visit and despite waiting quite a while for our food, they were very busy so understandable, the food was better than expected. Chicken salad had a good deal of meat on it, pizza was good. Not a high end restaurant but suited us and we were satisfied. Cant beat 2 x meals, 1 x side order, 2 x drinks (one wine) for just under £16

Enjoyed my Saturday lunch here. Staff were friendly and the place had a good vibe to it.Would go back.

Fantastic value between 5pm and 8. The 50% off drinks went sown amazing. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Me and my friend came here In the evening the female bar staff lady was so rude as soon as we got there she said “yes” with attitude, we had to walk off the only reason we came back was because another bar was fully booked due to a hen party, as soon as we got back the gentleman (bar staff) were alot more welcoming but i would never recommend this bar to anyone really disappointed!

When I ordered flat white and got presented with a cup of filter coffee was told we are not a f.... ing Starbucks!!!! Moody staff need some customer service training!!!

Decidimos darle oportunidad porque no encontrábamos un sitio mejor y barato pero si lo llegamos a saber hubiesemos pagado el doble por cenar en otro sitio. Comida normal pero nos convencieron ofreciendonos un 2 x 1 en la bebida que luego resultó ser mentira porque la pedimos 5 minutos fuera de la hora de la promoción, pero solo nos lo dijeron cuando fuimos a pagar y las bebidas ya estaban servidas. Sin duda una forma de estafar a la gente de fuera puesto que no te queda más remedio que pagar e irte y ellos saben que no volverás.

Nos clavaron 14,80 libras por tres cervezas, entrando a las 19:40 a cenar. Les decimos que vamos a cenar y nos metieron prisa para pedir la cerveza. Cuando vamos a pedir a las 19:55 nos dices que ya no es posible cenar porque la cocina ha cerrado a las 20. Nos quedamos sin cenar, con tres cervezas y engañados. El local muy bonito.

Took my Mom and Auntie here before a show at the hippodrome as it’s only across the road. The food is excellent value and the cocktails were 241 (Sunday to Friday I think). The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Even a staff member that had finished her shift still took the time to engage with us and chat about the night we had planned. Lovely layout, very open and bright. Will be back again soon.

La comida era mediocre en general; mi hamburguesa era buena, pero el tocino estaba poco hecho, una pizza estaba hecha y la otra estaba indiferente. Nuestra principal queja fue el tiempo que tomó. Kasia at Missoula Birmingham was fantastic is organising our night. everything was very easy to do. we thought the food was really good value for the price and we had a great night! the 241 cocktails were great too :) Thank you missoula!!

Is what it is - not a weatherspoons but a small local bar it seems with friendly staff. Foods good and atmosphere is good. Relatively cheap and worth a visit.

We ate here two nights and found the meals tasty and of an adequate size. The drinks were reasonably priced and the service was good. The food was delivered in a reasonable time.

Missoula Bar is located in the busy area of Chinatown in Birmingham. Missoula reminded me of an upscale Wetherspoons. Visited on a Saturday evening for dinner and drinks. We had 2 meals for £8.50 and waited 45 minutes in the outdoor seating area. I had Heron Bay Scampi and shared Macaroni. The Macaroni was literally licked of the plate and because of the wait couldn’t order another. No cocktail hour on Saturdays.

Went for the quiz night at the garden party on Wednesday... absolutely fabulous! The drag queen hosting was hilarious and friendly. Can't wait to go to her next event!

I've been here a few times in the day and enjoy the food. On this visit i popped in for a drink in the evening. The doormam we're friendly and attentive the bar man was great and the manageress was lovely. Highlyrecommended, and its so close to the hipporome its a great place to stop before the show. Enjoying a pint now in the garden. A must try venue

Visited on a sunny evening and the whole place had a holiday feel. Bar was nice and airy, reasonable price for drinks and friendly staff.

You know when you get ready, excitedly walk into your first bar of the evening, and gallop to the bar for your first delicious beverage??? I waited - smiling. I was met by a handsome guy, who nodded at me, motioning that he'd serve me. I smiled at him. He scowled. I smiled again, looking over my shoulder in case his arch enemy had just walked in and they were going to fight. No, there was no one there. That angry scowl was for ME! (I'm nearly fifty and have a daughter old than him - I thought, just a bit stroppy Humour him!)

A good all rounder i have to say. This is just a normal run of mill pub with grub....however, they do do cocktails and really quite cheap too. The food is spot on as pub grub goes and we had to wait a while but well worth the wait. The food is really good at a really cheap price. A full english is less than a fiver and it really hits the spot. Start a night out with 2 4 1 cocktails!! If you have a stomegate card get 25%off food and drinks...winner winner!!

My friends and I visited this bar on Saturday night.

Expected long wait but not 80mins. Asked twice if food on way, first time "it's in the oven, 2nd time ready in 5mins. Scampi and chips isn't a dish which takes a lot of time and effort! Frustrated that customers arriving after us had been served food, next table had finished meal before we saw food. One of our group couldn't finish food before we needed to leave for theatre. Management not interested in listening to our complaint, wouldn't let us finish our sentences. Nice décor but no customer service on display. Can live with a mistake if the restaurant puts it right, but they were not interested.

Visited here as a part of a works night out. The atmosphere was great and everyone enjoyed there albeit pricey cocktails

Personal, llegamos a dar una mención especial a Nathan, que era atento, profesional pero también súper divertido! Kylie y que eran ace también Chas. Came here with a group of work colleagues in December. Had a good evening and there is a nice atmosphere about the place. But... the speaker system used by the DJ is not of the best sound quality with a fair bit of distortion when it was pushed. A colleague of mine was also asked to leave when she fell asleep on her chair... first time for everything but a bit harsh as they were not causing trouble. Strange security policy considering what was being dealt in the toilets!

Fab venue, excellent prices (241 cocktails) staff friendly and welcoming and also recommended other good venues around to carry on partying at. 🎉🎉 keep up the work guys!

Popped in here for lunch... Ended up staying for a couple of bottles of wine! We both had the prawn salad and a portion of fries, which were both really nice. The Pinot was a good wine and reasonably priced.

Dando vueltas por la ciudad china y encontramos este lugar. Las bebidas a mitad de precio hasta las 8 de la semana. Pero lo que es más importante. Comida deliciosa. sangrienta Novia Mac y queso y tenía que tenía algún tipo de triple apiladas en una hamburguesa de pollo. Probablemente el más sabroso que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Bonita y tierna y llena de sabor.

Lovely place. Great prices during happy hours BUT when I asked for a double gin an abrupt mixed race gentleman went to the other end of the bar to pour it and I watched him only 3/4 fill the shot pourer! I didn’t complain as I felt uncomfortable doing so but I definitely do not like paying for a whole drink and only receiving 3/4 of it!

Cuatro amigos y yo hicimos una clase de cóctel principal y sin duda recomendaría! Así como los asientos en el interior, el Missoula tiene un patio exterior y decidimos sentarnos en el sol mientras la camarera Kasia preparado el bar para la clase. Llegamos temprano pero Kasia era genial y nada era demasiado problema. Ella trajo a nuestros vasos de Prosecco, que eran parte de la clase de reserva principal. Entonces ella nos preguntó cócteles nos gustaría hacer y nos mostró una lista de diferentes tipos. Después de mostrarnos cómo hacer el cóctel que cada uno tomó un giro en lo que con nosotros viendo y ayudando a Kasia si es necesario. Ella nos preguntó si queríamos la comida al final o antes de la 2ª lección de cóctel. Decidimos tomar la comida entre las dos clases y como lo describían como "picar" se sorprendieron por lo tanto la comida se trajo. Nos enseñaron cómo hacer nuestro próximo cóctel y luego hizo una cada uno. Después Kasia hizo que cada uno de nosotros un Jaegerbomb. £25 cada uno, que incluía la comida, Prosecco, Jaegerbomb y dos cócteles, además de la diversión de aprender a hacerlos. Bien vale la pena.

Fuimos a Missoula con amigos para celebrar los 50 cumpleaños. No recogerá un cóctel con Kasia. Ella era genial, era fantástico, Kasia cinematography era amable y no podía hacer lo suficiente para hacer que nuestro día especial. La comida también era estupenda. Recomiendo encarecidamente

Aparecimos aquí en un concurrido Sábado muy caliente para comer algo y descansar después de pasar tiempo en el verano en el Festival Southside.

Estado aquí un par de veces. Buena zona para sentarse al aire libre. Las bebidas a mitad de precio entre 5 - 7 y 2 por 1 en una amplia variedad de cócteles. El único inconveniente es que los cócteles tienen que ser el mismo.

Bar staff and door men a treat, but dj tiny insisted on repeating songs and not looking at the empty dance floor. Suggested a few bangers, but we regret he didn't listen

We'd travelled up from Cambridge to Birmingham for a family Birthday Party so decided to walk into the city for food. We found Missoula liked the look & so went in. Really nice inside, easy to get and comfy seating, nice menu. Only floor was we ordered waiting over 30mins & had to go to bar to find out where the food was. Bar manager said she'd find out, it wasn't over busy so not great service but delicious food when it finally came

Arrived this afternoon Friday 3rd feb. Had to wait an hour for food after being told it would be 1/2 hr and then asking again after another 15mins to be told it was 5 mins away. After going and asking for a refund we were told it was minutes away....How long does it take to make sandwiches??? Well it arrived and honestly I hardly ate what I was given. The salt beef was disgusting and the bread was so dry. My husband only ate his as he was so hungry as was my son and his girlfriend. We were given a round of free drinks but not offered what we wanted first. Would never eat here again.

I came here for a few cocktails with friends before Missoula turned into a club and overall I was impressed with the range and value of the cocktails. No a bad choice for the early evening.

I was in a queue to get into this club yesterday and after seeing the way their doormen treated the customers in front of me I decided to take my families business elsewhere. I witnessed the door staff saying some really offensive, racist things to the group of couples who i'd say were in their 40's/50's and didn't look the type to cause trouble. On top of this one of the bouncers actually pushed one of them for no reason! he wasn't being threatened and the people were only calmly asking for the id of the racist bouncer! He then went off smiling!! what kind of place has this become? I used to visit here frequently with my wife before but will never again. Sort yourselves out Missoula your door staff need to be seriously reviewed, they are meant to be there for your customers protection, not to hurl racist comments at them!

They advertise 2 for 1 cocktails all day every day on the menu. We went in 45 minutes before closing after we'd been to a staff meeting to be told they weren't doing any cocktails because they'd cleaned the equipment. Not OK but we would've had something else if it wasn't for the attitude of the barman which was rude to put it nicely. False advertising and bad service. Will not return.

Visited for a quick (ha!) bite to eat on Friday lunchtime. After having ordered, we waited. And waited some more. People arriving after us were being served their food so, after 45 minutes we mentioned this to one of the bar staff. It transpired that our food had been served to another couple some time earlier, despite their being a numbered ordering system. We then had to wait a further 15 minutes until our order eventually arrived. We got little in the way of apology - it was explained to us that there was only one staff member doing the cooking and serving. Note to management: it might be a good idea to have more than one person on kitchen duties at lunchtime, as it's around that time that it tends to get busy with people wanting to eat, you know. The food itself was inoffensive enough, but my mood had been spoiled by the long wait involved.

Came for a cheeky one and a pudding before Glee Club. Unfortunately the cocktail menus don't state that the 241 cocktails have changed and they have to be the same one to qualify for the deal. However when we challenged this after being charged £25 for two puddings and two drinks they apologised and sorted it out. Even got a free cocktail :) the after eight one is amazing! You need to update your menus guys if you've changed the offer. But staff were lovely and the place was nice.

Opted for the 2 meals for £8.99. What you pay for is what you get! The food was hot, and quick. Service was pleasant. Hardly haute cuisine, but it was good value.

Great little bar in the Arcadian centre near china town an the Hippodrome. Made even better by their half price drinks offer between 5 an 7pm . The evening we were there was lovely an warm so we sat out an listened to the free live music playing from the glee club. Menu there is also reasonable with 2 for £8 meals .

My wife and I visited for pre-theatre bite in July 2016. We were in a bit of a hurry so were a little concerned as the friendly barman warned us that a lot of the menu was not available due to staff shortages. However fortunately as we both wanted dishes off the 2 for £7.99 bargain menu we were not affected by this . Also the food arrived much quicker than we thought it would and we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of our meals. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger and fries, whilst my wife had the Chilli Con Carne with rice and nachos. Our barman appeared to be coping admirably with very little help and was also an extremely chap, so well done to him. Missoula offers several excellent value deals for main meals, sweets and cocktails and we would definitely use them again.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for a cocktail. The floor hadn't been finished. Staff not very helpful or friendly. Mojitos had rotten mint in them and you couldn't taste it. Won't be going back :-(

Were booked in for the cocktail making master class but decided to have lunch before. Our party was made up of 12 people and 3 of these people were under 18 (just) and 2 were over 60.We ordered cocktails and the under 18's ordered virgin porn star martinis whilst some of the overs had fully loaded porn star martini's. When the waitress brought them to the table she gave the fully loaded martini's to the under 18's. She also didn't know the difference between a sex on the beach and a bellini. Which I would have thought working in an establishment like this would be fundamental.We were the only people in the establishment at this time and there was approximately 4 members of staff all standing around talking at the end of the bar by the kitchen and we had to go and ask someone if they would come to our table and take our food order. The food was lovely, and no complaints there at all. Unfortunately the staff started clearing the table before everyone had finished their meals, and we had to ask them to wait.The master class was good fun but it is obviously a format they stick to and do not deviate from. We were all given a glass of prosecco and shown the first cocktail which was mojito's. After making a couple of these the group quickly discovered they didn't like these cocktails and asked if we could move onto something else. We were informed no as this was not how it works and everyone has to make one of these before we can move on. The next cocktail was cosmopolitan which went down a lot better with the group. Then to finish we were given 12 jagerbombs!! As previously mentioned 3 of our group were under 18, 2 were over 60 and the remaining 7 were between the age of 40 & 60 and have put our jagerbomb days far behind us. It never occurred to them to ask if we would like these or if we would prefer an alternative. Everyone enjoyed there meal, and the master class it's just a shame the staff seemed to lack in customer service, common sense and direction (I'd dread to think how they cope when it's busy). It could be a great place if the staff had the right training and direction. Which is a shame because we did get to meet the manager and he seemed like a lovely chap and his customer service was great.

Went in here today and asked for two Mojitos. The girl who served us gave us two margaritas. When we said she had got the wrong order, she was very snappy and said "no you asked for margaritas!" Knowing that I tend to be ill after drinking tequila, I would never have ordered a margarita. Her attitude was awful, she could have just said "sorry I misheard" and that would have been the end of it. We grudgingly paid for the drinks and took a seat. If you like margaritas, I'm sure they were nice enough. Only had two sips and we walked out. Would never go back there.

This was OK, range of food was a ittle limited, but teh staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room is pretty spacious and the seating adequate, if not glorious.

We popped in for lunch, I had a rump steak and mushroom salad, the steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had a burger which again was cooked perfectly.

Simple really, if music distorts on the high notes its too loud for the system, just knocking it down a touch would of made the music much more enjoyable, and the evening. The DJ sounded like something out of a 90's rave, shouting into the mic, a real shame as the bar was good and a good place for it with lots of other bars close by. Also maybe the door staff could do a little more than chatting up women all night (although that's probably what I would do), never a fan of the toilet attendant with the fake aftershaves, but at least it was kept clean. Overall a new DJ, music set for the system and you would most certainly have one of the better bars in town.

Went here for a night out with friends. Paid £4 entry for nothing more than an average bar. Bad atmosphere, rude door staff and an even ruder manager. Music wasn't great. The Arcadian used to be good for a night out but now it is over priced and as 'chav' as broad street. Myself and our group of friends will be avoiding this place in the future, there is a higher quality bars elsewhere in Birmingham.

Great prices, good quality cocktails and huge food portions, great to visit before cocktails and always friendlier and more personable service than other opportunities nearby. Look out for week day offers on food and drinks which makes things even cheaper! Simple food is always enjoyable when done well

For a Friday lunchtime, it's a bit sad that they had no Carling or John Smiths. Is this a ploy to get us punters onto more expensive drinks. Food was OK at 2 for £7.99.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon at approx 2pm. We went to order a chicken platter and chicken wings to be told they've got no chicken (by a less than helpful moody bar girl). Then went back to our table to decide what to have instead... Returned to the bar and ordered a combo platter (doesn't contain chicken) to be told they don't have the ingredients in the platter. This is my 3rd, yes 3rd visit with this exact same situation!!! Never the less when we finally found something to eat we were satisfied by the food that was served. Good price too.Wouldn't recommend unless you need a quick cheap snack. It may be best to double check what they have on the menu before ordering though!

We did a cocktail masterclass for our birthdays. We were late but phoned to let them know they were really kind saying it was no problem. The class was brilliant value we had a great time the buffet included was also very good. I would recommend it

Located in the Arcadian Centre (Birmingham ' s little Chinatown ) this is a food centred bar. I visited it at lunch time and there was already a large office Christmas party waiting for a table. Despite this my Scampi And Chips arrived with very little waiting time. Service was welcoming and friendly.

I have been to Missoula many times and have had a great time, but the last time I went I was not granted access due to the fact that I was in a "large crowd". This consisted of three couples and two of my other friends. If I genuinely believed that this was the issue then it would not have been a problem, but as we were being denied access we saw another group of 10 people being let in. When we asked the door staff why they let the other group in and not us we were told " It is not up for discussion" and promptly told to leave. I am not one to play the race card EVER, but since the larger group that was let in were white and my group was composed of people from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds I will have to assume it was due to the colour of our skin!! Until this incident occurred I was a regular at Missoula but I now think I will be taking my custom elsewhere!!

Came here on a busy Saturday night for a few drinks with friends. Staff were rude and obnoxious. The service was poor, granted it was very busy but still not acceptable. Waited at the bar for around 15 minutes; it seemed as though because I wasn't waving my credit card in the face of the bar staff I wasn't a priority for them. To give them their due, the prices are reasonable for Birmingham and the food looked nice - although we weren't eating. Overall, I feel that the staff ought to be more cheerful and attentive. Good old customer service is important and this is what let them down.

I went to this venue for lunch with some colleagues and was very pleasantly surprised at the value for money on offer. The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The food was really good quality and they had really good offers on both food and drink, even 2 for 1 on desserts. The venue is in a great location and on a good day everyone sits outside and was by far the busiest eatery of all in the area when I was there which says a lot

It's my first time to eat food at Missoula since it's been refurbished and I wasn't disappointed. It's been done out nicely and my food (pizza) was amazing. The staff are also friendly!

Absolutely fab class, everyone has thoroughly enjoyed theirselves and Helen was brilliant. Food was lush, will definitely be recommending here to everyone. Thanks guys for a brill start and afternoon.

Visited this bar on many occasions and have never been dissapointed. The bar has been newly refurbed and the outside area is great for the sunny days. The staff are always friendly and happy to go the extra mile. Lovely coctails and the manager is always there to help. Great place for a drink or food!

Brilliant atmosphere, good food, and nice staff, it was a very friendly environment & bar tender Shekeba was very attentive to our needs!! Great redesign, looks modern/contemporary, had a great lunch, thank you! X

Very disappointing lunch. We had Pasta with 4 Cheeses (Mac and Cheese would have been a suitable description), a ciabatta with pulled BBQ pork and coleslaw (very very poor serving or pork and 2 strips or cole..., bread was sloppy and pale), additional fries (sloppy and pale) and a light pizza (which was less worse or all). It took the kitchen staff about 45 minutes to prepare the 'freshly made' dishes. They don't do Bloody Mary (which I accepted) but they do a horrible Classic Margharita. If you can't do it, don't sell it. Or: train your staff properly, is my advice. Won't return here.

Went on Pride weekend. Sneakily took the sandwich and a drink deal off and still charged the full price. Then a 45 minute wait for the sandwich that arrived on a dirty sticky plate. £24 for two sandwiches and two pints. Never, ever visit this place...

My family and I visited this establishment after watching a show at the hippodrome the staff were very friendly and accommodating as one of our party has a food allergy and was very wary of the menu however the deputy manager on duty at the time was most helpful in going through the menu and finding alternatives. The food and drink was enjoyable only comment would be that the building is in need of redecorating. Would definitely visit Missoula again!

We popped into this bar for a quick drink before a show at The Glee Club, however the customer service here was so appalling we couldn't even spend any longer than ten minutes in the place. The management seriously need to have a staff overhaul and train people to be polite, make eye-contact, acknowledge customers and smile. A miserable and grotty bar that should be avoided.

New menu. Great offers Monday to Friday 2 meals for £7.95, 2-4-1 desserts. We're regulars there, meals are always cooked well. However, the place is in desperate need of a refit. The toilets are very bad and some chairs are very worn. Still, we are big fans of this place.

What a joke the food is in this establishment. I do not know why they even bother as everything is a half hearted attempt to provide even a decent level of food.The burgers are tasteless. The flat bread with halloumi was a wrap with salad and halloumi dripping in salad dressing. As for the southern fried chicken strips x 3. Really!! These were more like chicken nuggets.Save you money and look somewhere else as you will leave very disappointed.

Friday and Saturday nights music and atmosphere incredible ..nice chilling time during to week .. friendly and smiley staff ..

Rude staff from the guy who collects glasses right to the top the General Manager! the food was saggy and felt like it was kept in a damp swamp, tasteless.Service was horrifying and the staff were familiar with food and beverage industry services.I guess not visiting there anymore.

Empty after moving from another place that hadn't reserved a booked table, ordered food 4 meals arrived in half an hour other four after asking where food was and having to say we had theatre to go to we ended up with cold food. As we went in a hurry we had no choice but not somewhere i would visit again and definatley not the bathroom !!!

During the night someboby stole my Luke scarf. It was a christmas present, rather expensive, though the price doesn't matter, the principle does. As common sense dictates, I tried to speak to a manager, or whomever on their behalf, to leave my mobile number, in vain. The behaviour of their bouncers is unacceptable, they're a bunch of thugs, nitwit aggressive boors. It's an expensive and beloved scarf and I just demanded to leave my mobile number in case they found it, it's a matter of common sense. They completely ignored me, brainless bunch of imbeciles. Needless to say I'm furious, I'll never come back again.

What an embarrassment of a place. Expensive drinks , sullen bar staff not really interested in taking your order. Waiting staff at least upbeat.Empty.Pulled Pork roll bulked out with cheap coleslaw.Never again would be too soon.

My husband and I visited the Missoula bar for a meal before a gig at the O2 Academy. The staff were helpful and our meals came quickly and the food was tasty and hot. The only thing that let the bar down were the toilets (in the ladies, some of the taps didn't work and only one of the driers was working - I wasn't happy that the taps were twist on (they didn't look clean and you had to touch them to turn them off after you'd washed your hands), my husband was shocked at the state of the gents - there was vomit in the urinals and one of the sinks, obviously no one checks the toilets throughout the evening). We were therefore grateful that we wouldn't be spending any more time there.

Myself and 2 friends visited Missoula Bar last Saturday for drinks and had a great time.Music was excellent, drinks reasonably priced and had a large enough dance floor for the punters to enjoy themselves.The bar staff, although very busy, tried their best to serve us promptly. It was a nice, pleasant atmosphere and I would definitely return.

We popped in here on a Friday evening for a quick drink. Ideal for this it was early evening so not too busy can't fault the place quick service staff were friendly so would go back again. In a nice position.

It's was a fairly typical place. The food was all right and came at a good time. How ever the staff where bickering while we were waiting to place our order. The supervisor had to shout at them to take our order. Other than that is was fairly meh.

we ordered two cocktails and a glass of coke. mid way through serving us the barmaid took another order, made and took payment for thier drinks and then forgot to put the spirits in one of our cocktails. the result was it took 20minutes to made three drinks and we were served and charged for a glass of fruit juice instead of a cocktail. We questioned this twice and we're rudely told that we were wrong and that the shots were "just really small". if you don't believe us, we left the glass of juice on the table outside, feel free to have a sip.

Started a stag do here. Very accommodating, had a great laugh and there is a great range of drinks and food. Pricey for some wallets but you get what you pay for eh?!

We had a lovely lunch here today. It is very conveniently situated for the theatres in Birmingham and for the Back to Back houses. Our food arrived in record time and was very, very nice. The lady who brought our food was very pleasant and the atmosphere in the place was calm and relaxing. There might have been music - I didn't notice - but if there was it was quiet and unobtrusive. A pleasant place to eat.

If you like to sit in the sun when it's out then this is a lovely spot. The Arcadian is a great for a bit of chilled drinking on a Saturday afternoon . It rarely gets too busy if you are there around noon to early evening ( after that there are the theatre / glee club goers and night time drinkers / pre-clubbers)This bar is based at the bottom of the Arcadian opposite Las Iguanas and adjacent to a couple of other bars who's names escape me !They do reasonable line in cocktails although they can't go ' off menu' as the till doesn't have a button for it ! ( I asked them to change a tequila based cocktail to vodka as I don't like tequila and they couldn't ... ) and some decent bottles of wine and reasonable prices .Do take their time making cocktails so not a good choice when they are busy , but worth sticking your head in I appreciate I have only ever been in here for a quick drink on Saturday afternoons so can't comment about other times.Do have a menu and we ate here once a few years ago , but not tried food for a while and the menus changed but what came out looked good !

The service is good, the food is good but the pricing is atrocious. We ordered two meals for a tenner twice. One meal never arrived until we had kicked up a fuss. When we checked the bill later we found we had been charged full price for the late meal. Never again! Then I found out this has happened to others.

We entered to have breakfast, there were 4 people behind the bar, none of them acknowledged us, they were far too busy chatting, we where unsure as to the ordering procedure so we took a seat and waited, waited some more, continued to wait for another 10 minutes, all the while 4 (YES 4) staff chatted behind the bar, apart from us there was only 1 other table, we left extremely annoyed and would never return or recommend 

We went here on a beautiful sunny Saturday before a show to relax and grab a bite. It wasnt packed but busy enough. We got served drinks straightaway and the 2 for 1 cocktails was great. Staff were helpful and polite. We ordered a 'Mountain Plank' which came really quickly on a large plank which was a nice gimmick. Portions were plentiful and the food tasted good. Would definitely have that again. Sadly the seating decor wasnt upto the standard I would expect for a Bar & Grill based in the City centre. I would really be embarrassed if I had to bring a business client or an important visitor to sit down where we were. Please sort it out, its letting you down! Other than that it was a nice place to come and a pleasant experience.

We visited here just for drinks. Yes the decor is a little dated, hence only for stars, but the staff were lovely, not only very attractive but also very attentive and thorough. They took so much trouble over my Guinness, even down to the fact the cleaned down the sides of the glass before giving it to me, something I've never seen done before. Would have no hesitation in coming back, thanks girls :)

Look no further! We ate here early evening on a Saturday. It wasn't terribly busy, we managed to find a table easily....ordered a round of cocktails....so far so good! We decided food would be a good idea....something light-ish....so three of us ordered toasted melt sandwiches....all three barely toasted, and barely melted! Pretty grim! One person ordered the lasagne....even pub grub lasagne is usually pretty standard fare....this one though was thick with bechamel topping not really very cheesy, very little meat filling....the filling there was, was overwhelmed with rosemary....almost inedible! Garlic bread that came with it was just a warm buttered flat bread....no garlic in sight!!! After finishing, a member of staff came to take the plates.....we told him the food was really poor and he just nervously giggled....no apology, no I'll tell the chef.....nothing!!! I'd never choose to eat here ever again!

Went for late night drinks, bottle of laurent perrier rose was £60 which I thought wasn't to bad as many places would be charging near to £100 for this. Decent atmosphere although fairly quiet compared to some of the other bars in the area.

Normally go elsewhere to eat in the Arcadian but decided to eat here for a change. Bar service was quick. Food arrived after quite a wait but it was piping hot and well cooked. Reasonable in price but there are cheaper places to eat. By 1pm people were fighting to get tables so we are glad we came early. Would eat here again.

The bar and restaurant is well located in the Arcadian Centre. It does have well worn furniture as mentioned by other reviewers but after a day's shopping, early evening quick service of both drinks and meal orders is also important. The food is well prepared and of good value and there has never been a reason to complain in at least 10 personal visits. The staff turns over quickly but they have always been friendly and attentive.
