The Radleys Fish Bar in Birmingham

The food was excellent and the prices were good. Very good portions. Love their chilli and curry sauce. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Chips like they were reheated Hard and tasteless as was fish I worked in the catering industry for 45 years we would have been sacked for serving food like this

I don’t know what’s happened to this chippy lately but the food is disappointing disgusting the chips was under cooked I don’t think I’ll go there ago shame really I was going there for years but I’m put off big time

Normally fish and chips are 10/10 but sadly the fish I had ordered was large, they gave me two small pieces instead as they had run out, which is ok and fair enough but they don’t have as much texture and flavour on them. The chips weren’t exactly enjoyable either. The chicken was old and dry, not good.

I purchased Chicken Meat & Chips tonight, The cost has gone up from the last time I went, only a couple of weeks ago and its gone up from just under £4 to £7.50. What a rip off. Both the Chicken meat & the chips looked and tasted as though they had been done yesterday and been reheated. Both were horrible. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, even someone I didn't like. I've NEVER tasted or seen anything like it in my life. PLEASE TAKE MY WORD, YOU WILL NOT LIKE THE FOOD FROM THIS SHOP. Also,everything in the display looked the same, yesterday's cooking. Worst food experience I have ever had.

I ordered Kebab meat and salad got Home to find that was only a tiny amount of salad a little bit of onion and a tiny amount of lettuce with kebab meat, drenched in mint sauce (i asked for a tiny bit of sauce). I threw most of it in the bin. Absolutely horrible meal will never go back there again.

Called in to buy fish and chips had no cash on me ordered my food only to be told they do not accept debit or credit card payments cash only. Food did not look that good anyway and the staff are not exactly customer friendly, so I will never be returning

Absolutely love this chippy the portions are great the price is right and the food I have is good, but it is cash only but hey we'll done all of the staff your a good team with smiles on your faces lol 😆 keep up the good work. Oh and the good food 😋

Chips were undercooked and batter on the fish was quite thick. Staff are not very friendly. Not good value for money, very disappointing.

Unfortunately, the fish and chips I got were very greasy. Not so much the chips tbf but I had to take the batter off the fish to continue eating. I think I might have been ill otherwise. The fish was cooked and waiting in the hot cabinet so probably that is what made it overcooked. The chips were fair but had too many thin crunchy bits. Lovely friendly staff. Cash only. Fair price if the batter was good.

I had Scampi, scallops & salad from The Radleys Fish Bar today. It isfirst time I have evr seen burnt Scampi, I was charged £3.80 for the Scampi, What a rip off. I told them the scampi abit well done, and the guy tended to agree with me, but didnt offer to do a fressh portion properly.They weren't even rushed off their feet, in fact I waited quite a long time to be served. Dont know why the Scampi ended being burnt, they didn't have to rush, and I certainly didn't ask for it to be "well done". Suggest not to use it and definately dont have Scampi.

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING Ended up in hospital and extremely poorly for over a week after eating tinned roe from this shop. The staff are friendly shame they feel the need to have friends in the kitchen area shop needs a good clean it's no surprise you get served quickly it's the lack of customer's and it also makes me think that the food is been reheated. PLEASE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE STAY AWAY.

Inedible food I think the photo speaks for itself ! Have been here many times over the years and always hit and miss but definitely our last visit

Had Fish and Chips x 2 No taste whatsoever, the batter was rock hard indicating it was old, the fish had no taste whatsoever. Certainly will not be using this shop again !!

The chips are quality but the batter is too hard and crusty on the Fish and Sausage. The kebab meat of chicken is very nice but the lamb donner meat is hard and crusty

Been going here over the last 12years. Food is always fresh and on point.

This place has a really great menu. They do a lovely burger/chicken burger meal at an amazing price, which is delicious. All their food is fresh tasting. Never wait very long to be served as the staff are plentiful and quick,but still very friendly.

Having recently moved into the area we were looking for a local chippy! My goodness we are glad we tried here! The girl that served us was lovely, and friendly! The chips are out of this world! This is now our regular chippy and go every Friday as our treat night!

An afternoon snack ordered 2 pieces of tinned roe from behind the glass they look good and a portion of chips. Sorry to say the roe was near cold its was not nice. I normally ask for my fish to cooked on entry but I did not this time what a mistake. I hope the chef learns some thing from.my experience.

First time I been to this shop and it'll be the last. Only got a large fish and chips and it went straight into the bin. Chips were too oily and the fish was absolutely horrible dry and tasted vile

The food here i wouldn't even feed my dog, the fish is dry and far from fresh, the sausages are also dry like they’ve been cooked a lot more than once and the chips, well last nights left overs is what springs to mind!! I don’t know why I bother keep going back there. Every time I go there I’m disappointed and dissatisfied with the cr@p they dish up!! Needs closing down or someone else taking over cause this food is garbage

Your staff can’t cook and your staff need cooking lessons a again. The money we paid for the food we should get better food

Ive had two recent problems the first time the donner meat was cut in chunks an it looked pretty scabby so my dog ate it. Then today took the final biscuit I found tin foil and a big peace of greasy paper (not chip bag paper) thick long shiny paper you couldn't rip thank god I didnt choke. I took it all out the box an oh daam the food was swimming in grease no wonder the chips were soggy I will not be returning for all them reasons plus my girlfriends tinned roe tasted really fishy but the curry sauce was nice

£1.60 for a bag of chips that's the size of a cone of chips. The prices have gone up and the bags of chips have reduced in size. You get more paper than chips. Disgusting!

I got food poisoning from the Donna meat it wasent pleasant I recommend to never go here and it should be shut down I was sick twice after having the burger

Use to be ok but had it 3 weeks back and it tasted microwaved. The staff are ok but the chicken made my mom sick and we haven't been ever since. Huge thumbs down 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Whatever you do, don't try the burgers. It's like putting your teeth in the bottom of your shoe. I couldn't finish it and I've had some pretty poor quality burger in the past. This one trumped them all though. Chips are very greasy which could be classed as tasty I suppose it's personal preference. I wasn't impressed.

Fast friendly service with good food. Only sometimes that quality drops.
