Awful experience waited 45 mins after paying for 2 bubbles teas to end up having to ask for a refund. Kept bearding rude comments from one member of staff about how customers are not patient. I’ve never had to wait that long for a drink in my entire life. People after me had eaten and left and I was still waiting for my bubble tea

Walking in it appeared closed with no ice cream on display and staff cleaning. Was told yes we are open. Ordered coconut bubble tea and Ferrero milkshake. The bubble tea was disgusting, the milkshake was ok. To make things worse the kids are stupid, as soon as you insert the straw some of the contents spill out. Also, it is very overpriced. I would not recommend.

This place is going downhill and has seen better days. I think the actual cleaning staff are on strike, the floor ( at midday Saturday) was full of debris. The glass needed a proper clean and the tables and seats were also filthy, doesn’t fill you with hope for an eatery. The desserts were fine. I felt the pricing of a crepe with just chocolate sauce drizzled over is pretty extortionate but the cookie dough proved better value. The service was fine. It’s a shame, this place could be so much better but it doesn’t seem to have had any investment since it opened!

We came here as a family for my sons birthday, we arrived to a note on the tills saying no waffles, and only a few ice cream flavours available, still, we found something for everyone anyway and went to place the order, behind the counter were three young girls, after me having to explain to them what was actually in each ice cream (it says on the menu I’d think they’d know abit of it) finally placed an order, while waiting the manager constantly asked these girls to clean the tables, most were covered in food/empty plates, we ended up cleaning ours ourselves, the girls laughed and ignored her then she ended up doing it herself, I felt so bad for this manager, she didn’t stop the whole time and these girls did nothing but sit on their phones, 30 minutes later our food started to come, one at a time, now I didn’t mind the time, we was in no rush, even though it was empty, but one at a time, the adults got theirs first and didn’t want to eat till the kids had there’s, so another half hour past till we actually had everyone (six altogether, four was the same ice creams) so the adults were just a melted mess, one was wrong but ended up keeping it as we didn’t want to wait again for it to be re done, the manager needs a raise and staff that actually pull their weight and this place would be brilliant, won’t be back till the young girls on their phones have gone

Let’s start with the staff first, staff are shocking and have no customer service skills, the hygiene in this place is disgusting just go and have a look yourselves and walk out, the presentation of the dessert I had was like a car crash, simple advice do not bother with this place and if you don’t believe me please visit to experience what I did 😳😳

Walked in and immediately could tell the staff were not competent in dealing with people. We still ordered as we had promised my grandkids they could have ice cream .... our order took ages and was delivered one at a time so by the time the last person in our small group had got their order the first one had finished! Lots of tables were left uncleared or uncleaned ..our table had been wiped but we did it again ourselves...I asked for my cutlery to be clean ..it came back wet! Staff didn't interact with customers and people were walking out because of the long wait! The toilets were shocking and I had to clean it myself before I could use it . Lucky for me the cleaning products were all left on top of the toilet...just hope small children don't go in there alone and mess with the cleaning stuff! One of the staff said she was training but don't know who was training her because the other two staff were less than useless...it wasn't busy but they still managed to get orders wrong! We will never use this place ever again unless it has a massive clean up and properly trained staff!

Went in late in evening. Waited a long time to be served. Staff were talking to each other, one was on her mobile texting. Finally had to ask to be served. The place was nearly empty so not sure why they were so overwhelmed. One staff member was clearly friends with a couple customers as she was stood at their table chatting. She kept going back to the counter, but then went back to chat. Ordered a cherry vanilla sundae. It was £7.50 They had no vanilla. Ok, things run out. She asks me what other flavour. fair enough. But, she had no ideas what other flavours and told me just to look. Not all the labels were readable. She didn't know how to make the sundae, so she kept referring to the menu. Fair enough, people are new. Then she couldn't find the cherry syrup. A couple minutes of faffing about, it was found. Then she couldn't find the cherries. More faffing about. No cherries. One girl said "just give her something else". So I ended up with strawberries. (She did ask if it was ok, at this point, I just said "sure".) I can tell you honestly that a cherry vanilla sundae without vanilla and without cherries - with strawberries instead- wasn't very nice. Binned it. Called Sprinkles Gelato Head Office, they said it was a franchise and told me to email, and I did. No one responded. Went back in, asked for Franchisee details to contact them directly. I was told they were "secret", After a couple weeks, went in and found Franchisee who said he got my email... he said he was hoping I would come back in so he could give me another sundae. I declined. He said his staff were new and he has them work to see if they will work out, so they really don't know how to make things or where things are. From a food hygiene point of view, I find this a bit difficult. When I was there and ordered, tables needed clearing, they weren't wiped down (there was pooled melted gunk on one table I saw) and the staff need to focus more on customers and service than on socialising with friends and other staff. I know they are just young women, but... there needs to be some supervision to help them. When he was there things did seem to run better.

Crap service, tables not clean, missing orders. Smelt horrible, sticky seats yuk, I won't be going there again! Terrible service

Huge menu, lots of food options, beautiful decadent desserts in a jar - staff friendly and able to make adjustments to remove gluten containing ingredients (to make it GF). No GF menu or allergens listed on menu yet staff did have list of allergens booklet behind counter and could assist. Great place for big groups of friends.

not in the slightest happy about the service and quality of food provided at the West Bromwich branch. The customer service there is appalling the first issue started when I was given a cold crepe because of the slackness of the staff, I was sitting opposite the counter seeing everything they were doing it’s clear to see that the staff handling is backwards, too much talking not enough working that’s why many customers deserts are coming cold. Long after my desert was served we was still waiting for my partners desert to be served (extremely confused why they don’t serve the deserts together... for 2 people it’s not difficult) baring in mind the cookie dough my partner ordered takes 50 seconds to do. Waiter warms my desert AND ice cream which caused me to feel sick afterwards... seems like a problem I need to report to the food standards agency. I felt uncomfortable addressing my situation to any of the staff members because of the uncaring nature they portrayed, I asked for a drizzle of sauce as there was hardly anything on there again with this unbothered attitude and disgusting customer service he said “you will have to pay 50p, sorry can’t do nothing other than that” and walked off when In reality a refund was what I should have been given and not another penny wasted with the many problems I experienced, Not to mention the show “waiter vivek” put on for the customers when I asked for the sauce, it was that bad that the lady turned around and said “That’s exactly how he was acting when my son asked for more sprinkles” she was also disgusted, everyone was watching and looking at him shocked his attitude in general was almost unbelievable. An evening totally ruined by under trained and disrespectful staff. We even had trouble finding somewhere to sit as most of the tables were dirty and full of dirty plates and jars again that’s another concern I need to raise as this company doesn’t seem to be meeting business hygiene standards. To make it worse all the bad reviews going back years yet customers like me and my boyfriend are still experiencing this despising service, it was a date night nightmare. From food standards to hygiene , severely bad customer service and disrespect, years of it too, I don’t know how this company is still running

Banana and Oreo crumble waffle. Absolutely delicious. Staff are really friendly full of advice on their products. Definitely worth a visit!

This is my favourite dessert place by far. I come with family and my husband. Much better than little dessert shop!! The cookie dough is to die for!!! The crepes are delicious and so much choice for gelato flavours. The actual place is huge and very clean. Really nice decor. They give out vouchers sometimes too. The staff could do with being a bit more upbeat and smiley. Apart from that, 10/10!

I’ve visited twice and ordered the brownie explosion desserts which is so yummy it includes bananas brownie pieces and custard which is such an amazing combination I thoroughly enjoyed it and defo will be back when I did pop in the shop wasn’t busy at all probs cause I went during a weekday school hours which was perfect as the food didn’t take too long to make🤩🤩🤩

We have visited sprinkles gelato west Bromwich a few times and we love it! The flavours at sprinkles beats "the little dessert shop" hands down!The staff are helpful, it's spacious and clean.My only concern is it can be a bit slow when bringing the deserts out at the same time even when semi busy and there can be groups of teenagers in there at certain times that can be off putting.We love it and the flavours

My daughter and her friends came today and I must say the restaurant was very clean The young girl who served us was lovely and polite 😁 Would definitely recommend this store and the deserts was lovely 😊

Wow we went here as Little dessert shop has bad reviews on here and I am so glad. It was gorgeous, gorgeous decor etc and great customer service. The menu is huge with soooo much choice and variety. I had peanut butter waffle and it was so good, the first time I have ever finished a whole one! Best dessert shop by far and prices really good. My only one bad point in there is no option for kids dessert or smaller portions so kids have to have an adult portion!!! Highly reccomend.

Make your own sundeas are great definitely not a waste of money. Usually quite underwhelmed by dessert shops but this is an exception. Ice is some of the best iv tasted

Came here with my boyfriend the other day, he ordered the create your own icecream sundae! The woman who served us was friendly but seemed rather bored! Amazing range of flavours, we went for maltezers, white bueno and brownie. Could choose 4 toppings which I thought was a pretty decent amount, we got strawbery and banana which came in a little bowl on the side, there was a good amount of both! We also had toffee sauce which was way too sweet and whipped cream, be warned you get a LOT of cream! We couldn't finish the sundae as it was just too sweet but great if you have a sweet tooth!

Went with family for Birthday they had no cookie dough, no brownie waffle. The middle age white women wearing black shirt was rude and didn’t like that we came at 10pm even though they close at 11pm. Very disappointed with staff attitude as they looked lifeless and drained and didn’t enjoy what they were doing. They lost £100 worth of business from my family. Won’t be ever going there again. Instead we all ended up going to Kaspers, which was far more better in every way. Sprinkles Staff need replacing or retraining and I would never recommend them or employ them.

Im not impatient, but i had to wait 45mins for one waffle and one milkshake. I was told it would be here within half an hour at the start which i agreed to, but 45mins+ is way too long. I would not recommend coming here. Very unprofessional.

I've tried various cookie doughs in dessert shops in the area and this one wins hands down. It appears small but its very deep and goey and extremely filling.

After coming here for the first-time on a hot summers day popped in again before cinema and wasnt dissaponted. I like the idea of finding your own seat and not waiting to be seated. Staff are pleasent and portions are plentiful. Prices are about average in line with other desert shops. I had the Strawbberry Bubblegum Sundae again and was just as good as my first. Will certainly try something else next time. Since coming here in the Summer I've been hooked on the desert shop, not sure if that's a good or bad thing, better than booze I suppose.

I visited here for the first time on a Saturday evening, with family. When we entered there was no visible sign or member of staff to tell us what the seating arrangement was, so we went to the counter & picked up a menu to place our orders. We then got told to sit down anywhere by a member of staff & make our choices at our table. However no table service was offered so we had to go back up to the counter to place our order. If it wasn’t for the confusion & rather hassled member of staff then this establishment would have got full marks because the desserts were delicious, so rich in flavour & generous in portion size.

Having tried many dessert places around the Midlands I wasn't expecting great things (based on other experiences) however I was pleasantly surprised.

Professional people run it.. Nice and helpfull... Sit out side with a coffee (( usually 2 to 1 on drinks )) Vouchers for discounts on bus & local parking receipts ... 50% off.... love the food & coffee..

I visited Sprinkles spontaneously. You seat yourself but the interior is quite big so you will definitely find a table. Service is quick, and the portions are generous for the price, especially compared to other dessert shops in West Brom.

Stopped here again been as we went to the pictures next door. Staff were great and the different flavours on offer blows your mind lol this is a must do thing

This ice cream parlour is in the New Square development of West Bromwich just next to the Odeon Cinema. So easily accessible as its just a couple of minutes from the bus station. The Tesco car park nearby has lots of spaces and charges from 80p for an hour. This is a place where instead of standard ice cream you get the Italian gelato style in a vast variety of flavours some traditional and the more unusual. However its not just for ice cream. This place has a large menu as they also do coffees, hot chocolates, cakes, waffles and crepes. The Costa coffee next door is always busy with people drinking hot drinks but this place is never busy and does lovely hot drinks at a cheaper price. Plenty of seating inside and booths for groups of people plus seating outside also. They now have competition as a dessert parlour has opened opposite so not sure how this place will survive if it doesn't get the people through the door. I have been on a few occasions when they have given vouchers like 2 for 1 on any waffles or drink and cake for a special price so its worth looking out for the vouchers as it can be on the pricey side without these offers. On the last visit we ordered 2 x waffles with ice cream and toppings. I was a bit apprehensive when ordering fruit due to past experiences elsewhere with the fruit not being the freshest. I ordered a waffle with strawberries and banana, topping of white chocolate and scoops of vanilla ice cream. The food does take a while to prepare as they have to cook the waffles then freshly chop the fruit and add the toppings however it was worth the wait. Only slight niggle is it wasn't as hot as i would have liked by the time they added everything on top. The strawberries were lovely and firm and the banana was firm not soft and brown. The amounts on top of the waffle were generous and i can honestly say it filled me up for the rest of the day. Very nice waffles so will go back and maybe try one of their crepes next time. This is definitely a nice place to go just for a drink with a friend or for an alternative lunch/ afternoon tea or alongside a cinema visit.

We have visited this branch on a number of occasions and the last visit was by far the most disappointing experience.

Went there a few weeks ago and although there were only a handful of people there the service was very slow. I agree with previous comments the menus were dirty and could have done with a wipe over. Although pricey the waffles we had were tasty and a good size portion.

Loved it so went back but no strawberries aww but got chocolate brownie instead.would go back for the ice cream chocolate chip mint and coconut brilliant.

Went there to treat kids. Great choice of ice cream. Polite and helpful staff. Very relaxing atmosphere to be in after a long day out and about. Would go again.

Had a Groupon so tried this place. We were the only ones in there on a sunny Sunday lunch time. Hhmmmm.

First visit with a friend about a week ago. We were served by a lovely young man who was very patient as we were struggling to decide and he helped us with our choices of ice creams. Our final choices definitely didn’t disappoint as the flavours were fantastic. One small comment was that the air con was on even though it was about 10:30pm in the evening so it was quute chilly. Other than this it was great and I can’t wait to visit again.

I visited this place before and i was not overally impressed however, i thought i would give it another go.

This was my second visit to Sprinkles and it was not good! The first visit wasn’t great but gave it another chance, however, will not be going again. On arrival it was very very quiet with only a couple of other people in there (possibly a bad sign for a warm Friday evening). The menus were disgusting, they were dirty and sticky - not a good start. When we went up to order we were told there were no hot drinks available and as we both wanted a waffle one of us would have to wait as they only had one machine. When the food was delivered we were informed they had run out of the ice cream that came with the waffles so they had used an alternative; didn’t check with us beforehand if it would be okay. My waffle wasn’t great, it was pretty much cold and as for toppings they were really poor and not particularly generous. For £6 I expected a lot better. As we finished our food, the plates were literally taken away as soon as our cutlery was placed down. Overall a very poor experience - will not be returning.

Appalling service. Took over 30 minutes just to get served barely adequate ice cream. Several staff members just standing around and others going at a snail pace. Will not be coming again and certainly will not recommend.

Massive flaws in the system, if there is one. You end up queueing for ages just to place your order. The worst part is depending on what you order you can be eating 15 mins apart from each other. The worst case of this was on Easter Sunday when my family ate 45 mins apart. I’ve tried it again since but no change. Won’t be going back.

Sunday afternoon treat for the kids was completely ruined by the slow service, It wasn't busy compared to past visits (although service is always slow) my youngest ordered an ice cream - the cashier went to get this before I had finished giving her the rest of my order .... my eldest ordered a waffle and ice-cream... hubby an ice cream .. off she trotted again to get this ... then I just had a cup of tea as the cakes listed in the menu aren't actually available you to pick one from the counter .... my youngest and hubby ate there ice creams while we waited .....and waited , they soon finished the ice creams ... a board 5 year old wasn't happy to wait for sibling to get their food .... 25 minutes later I went up to the empty counter to chase my order ... I was told it was on the way ... 10 minutes later we were about to walk when the waffle and cup of tea finally arrived. The food was Ok but not worth the wait and the staff offered no explanation or apology ... I guess this is because its standard . we will not be visiting again.

Well we visited again last night for the second time..... thinking we would give it a second chance..... just in case our first visit was unfortunate..... but no our second visit was just as dire.

i would not eat there again place dirty stuff out date staff two face over charged supervisor look dirty not even wearing right uniform to busy on phone need closing down does not match italian ice cream far from it please close down before we all end up in hospital let all go little dessert 100 time better

Cannot fault the cookie dough and strawberry waffles with chocolate. Good price and quick service. Great location with parking at Tesco and great place to visit after a movie.

Friends took me and my daughter here today for ice cream and it was very yummy. The place was lovely and clean and the staff friendly even when my daughter changed her mind and wanted her ice-cream in a cone and not a tub. The ice-creams were great valve and were huge for the price will be going again

Nice gelato as I had the brownie one on a cone but all waffles are 5 quid or more. For pancake mix, squirty cream, choc sauce and 6 strawberries chopped in half, it seemed a bit too much for West Brom. Decor is the typical American diner style.

We went last Sunday for a pre snack to the cinema, two of us had a milk shake, both were disappointed with the quality and the taste of it. I had a waffle that felt very substandard, not tasty, thin, strawberries were only put on half of it which is strange! I have had this desert in other shops but this was the worst, crusty waffle with little taste. I asked for roasted nuts which they had run out of, strawberry sauce which again they had run out of. The place is massive, clean, decorated well, staff are friendly but was not full. If a dessert shop doesn't have the ingredients to make the food then how do they propose to make a sale.

An absolutely vile place. The customer service is very very poor and that is an understatement! We were left waiting and had to keep asking for service. The waiters are dressed inappropriately and scruffy. The place is filthy and I would definitely not recommend nor return.

19.8.17 - First time l went to this desert shop. Was for my mums birthday treat. We had waffles and strawberry ice cream and toffee cake and caramel ice cream. Was a very nuce shop. Helpful staff very friendly. Woll come back again. Lovely waffles x

I'm not sure how sprinkles can treat their customers with such contempt. The family popped in for a self indulgent treat. Waffles, crepes and gelato with a great shake. Well that may have been the case if any of the shakes came with the whipped cream that they were supposed to. The crepe also came with no whipped cream. It was mysteriously changed to soft ice cream. It later transpired that the whipped cream machine was not working. So why we're we not told this. Presumably they just hoped that nobody would notice. No apology, no reduction in price, just deception.

Got positively surprised when we entered this place. Clean and polished surfaces and a modern interior. The quality of the icecream was excellent! Will definitely go back if we are in West Bromwich again.

Was a bit disappointed with the menu, no simple deserts served here, i.e. Apple pie, chocolate fudge cake. A very slow service, toke about 25/30mins for one desert which was over powered by chocolate.

Absolutely loved this place... I had the Deliciously Scrumptious dessert in a jar which was amazing. Fresh whipped cream on top of brownie pieces, Reece's peanut butter cups, ice cream and tons of peanut M&M;'s. A friend had the cookie dough one which was so good! Freshly baked cookie dough... heaven! Would definitely recommend this place. The milkshake are good too! If you have a sweet tooth then go go go!

Went on the 1st July ordered 4 waffles to take out. My sister's order came 1st when she tried it the chocolate sauce was cheap tasting and the waffle was undercooked. Took it back to complain and offered to make her a crepe instead. While watching we noticed that a waffle was stuck to the waffle machine, the server wearing no gloves proceeded to prise the waffle off the machine and place it on a plate to decorate. Realizing it was mine I asked to look at it and there was a good chunk of waffle missing from underneath. Requested my money back, which I got.

Went for a casual late night dessert with a friend we ordered a crepe and a waffle respectively with two smoothies took about 30 mins for the desserts to come out , and the smoothies came 10 mins after the desserts. Firstly the waffle was overlooked and just looked old the crepe was cold and was covered in a horrible topping , the smoothies were splitting and were very thin just like cordial mixed , and were warm horrible visit won't ever be going again . AVOID

Went today for the first time and walked straight back out. Load music blasting, hardly any customers but uncleaned dirty smeared tables and staff just standing behind counter. Was really looking forward to sampling ice cream with my daughter. Went straight to little dessert shop so different. Lady who sat next to me had also just left sprinkles needs manager on shop floor to supervise staff otherwise can't see this shop staying open very long.

Visited with daughter 2 sons my sister and my two Nephews. We arrived the place was empty with 6 staff. First impresssions fab menu fab. Overpriced though, so we all decided. Went to order young girl didn't know the menu took an age to order. I ordered a coffee and a tea, which they made first. Before anything else. So asked if i could take the hot drinks. Which they replied we like everything out together. Which was obvious Would be cold. Our order was wrong when arrived. And there was a member of staff clearing tables filthy dirty. Then to our complete discussed she picked her nose! My kids were nearly sick!!!!! I wrote and email of complate with no reply!!

Absolutely amazing desserts massive portions loads of choice on offer certainly will not be disappointed did not have to wait long at all and prices are very reasonable

This gelato/dessert parlour restaurant has only been open a few weeks so the staff are still finding their feet but I was surprised at the range and choice on offer from the menu. I had the Belgium brownie waffle and the cherry coke ice cream float, both was delicious. Only had to wait about 5 minutes from ordering and it was brought to our table. The prices are on the high side but are worth it for a special occasion or a treat.
