To many owners to much shady stuff going on behind the scenes I don't like the pub specially jay . Always kick off no security for the trouble . The toilets smell and dirty pub and my friend found hair in food before the place dead rest week only busy Friday and Saturday and match days . They barred because i split and drink I like laught and loud I am gay I friendly person if you don't like then you shouldn't run homophobic people owner's you are

Amazing pub for good pint and food. Service was friendly and fast. Good selection of beers and variety on the food menu.

Nice welcoming atmosphere. Cask ale was poor though. Enville was cloudy and didnt taste great, had to leave half a pint. Tasted like the pipes hadn’t been cleaned. It’s a shame as it seems like a nice place.

Done it up nicely, bar staff hadn't got a clue.. serving people who just come to the bar, and left people who'd been waiting.

I popped in here with my dad, daughter and baby grandson. We had a lovely quiet drink and shared memories together in here. Close to the bus station just a walk across the road.

Me and the Mrs go there most Saturdays and it's fantastic, Staff are excellent, don't have to wait long to get a drink even when its busy

Food and drink reasonably priced, staff are lovely and will do anything for you, entertainment is amazing too! Would highly recommend

New owners pub ok but only one draft beer

The food is absolutely amazing and they have well trained very polite young staff who are a credit to the establishment. Certainly would recommend you give this place a visit and do so without reservation 👍🏾

Went in for a meal with my husband and mother in law. The service of the bar staff was fine, but I wish I could say the same about the food. After waiting 45 minutes and watching 3 families who arrived after us being served, I asked where our food was. It was obvious that they had messed up because they didn't even know what we had ordered! My mother in law's came out first on a plate with bits of dried peas on it, but missing the peas she had asked for. They brought out my meal which was also completely wrong. They gave me the correct meal but forgot the cutlery, Then returned with 2 knives. They brought out my husband's meal which was a burger. We specifically asked for no gherkin or tomatoes due to allergies, but this too was ignored. It was rectified and luckily he hadn't swallowed any of the food. We then saw someone wiping down the tables with a cloth and spray bottle which is fine, but they included ones where customers were still eating and drinking! I hope that this was a one off, but we certainly won't be eating there again

Went after a shopping trip was a bit worried as had a few screens showing football but atmosphere was good and fairly quiet and food /service was very good and friendly.

The venue was previously owned by wetherspoons .sold along with other outlets..my first visit.. after sale . It was okay..beer price average £2 50 .. the staff were polite..six 50inch TV,s located around the premises.. sky sports coverage ..food available ...I will probably return to the venue in the near future .

Great pub to use just before the West Brom match. Good cheap beer and food served very quickly by excellent staff. Will definately use it again.

Food is amazing. I had a jerk chicken flavour 1/2 chicken 🍗 with Tuesday offer of 2 side dishes. Amazing 😋 only thing to remember is that kitchen closes at 8 pm. Cheers 🍻🍻

Great place, very welcoming and friendly stuff. Cheap beer and great food. I would definitely recommend going on a Tuesday for the half chicken and two sides. (£5.00) I went there last Tuesday for the first time since it's changed from the wetherspoons and I will be going back. For half jerk chicken with extra sauce, curly fries, big bowl of homemade coleslaw, 8 onion rings & a pint of thatchers Gold £9.94 👌 well worth the money and good quality of food, taste beautiful.

Fantastic staff, good atmosphere. I'm quite liking the half chicken they serve, the peri peri is great but I found the jerk one to be quite rich. Otherwise a fantastic replacement for the awful spoons before it.

We have been coming here for years but since the new management had taken over it seems to have gotten better! Great environment-food is great (red hot may I add) and drinks are great too! The manager always recognises us and is always so friendly-just a great environment really is💙

Since change of management and no longer a spoons. It's a great pub. Lovely staff and the food is well worth it.

This place has been refurbished to a very good end product. Although I didn't eat myself plenty did and seemed happy with their food.

Working in West Brom this week, stumbled across the billiard hall, brilliant pub and the new owners are ace, walking round and talking to the customers 👍👍 and the Stella is a cracking pint at a cracking price 👌👌

Didn't have food on the day I visited but it's lovely n clean and the service was great

A tasty table full of food for £10! What's to complain about? The Tuesday special of half a chicken and sides for £5 is amazing value and top notch. The honey and garlic chicken was truly a new experience for us, compliments to the chef. All of the staff were lovely too. We'll be back... ☺️ Ps. Perfect fuel for cyclists 🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏼‍♀️😊 PPS. The new owners have improved the former Weatherspoon’s pub brightening up the pub making it a bright and inviting location for anyone to enjoy. The 6 of us grabbed a table in the corner and enjoyed the next 6 hours with a wide selection of draft beers/larger, wines and shots. We ordered food which was delicious. We will be back for another afternoon/evening of drinking, eating and great times with friends at a great location.

Was quiet when I visted but liked the fact it now sells more bottled cider ie, Magners than previous owners. Barstaff very polite and attentive. Will visit again.

This is no longer a weatherspoons but prices are still low, there are tvs and ambience now, very lovely and friendly staff. The food menu is now more burgers, grilled chicken and wings, the food 10 outta 10 AMAZING especially for the price, never had wings like these SO GOOD!!, the beer was also on point. Good job guys, will definately be back on a regular.

Actually decent. The beer selection isn't as vast as it once was as a Wetherspoons but what they do serve they serve well. Beer is well kept and each pint is as it should be. Interior hasn't changed much since the new management but what is worth a mention is the food and the value. Most pints come in under £3 which is really good these days and the food is not only reasonable, it's actually really good. Came in on a Tuesday where they serve half a chicken with a seasoning of your choice and any two sides, all for a fiver! Everything was well cooked, tasted good and well presented. I love a Desi but it's nice to see someone do something different around here and I wish them well, will be coming back.

My first visit to the Billiard Hall in West Bromwich since the refurbishment and I must say that it didn't disappoint either. The new owners should be praised for their work and bringing joy back to the community.

Not been back since spoons finished I got on well with all the staff never had any problems always friendly its sad about some of the reviews on here but each to their own opinion and experience but I will say the staff were always the last to know what was going on and even when told the finishing date those who were offered other jobs at other spoons sites had no idea where?? all the very best to them all!

Cheap beer, friendly staff. Came on the night it closed. Can't wait to see it refurbished 👍🏾

Wether spoons you know what your getting except poor cider choice, wether spoons has not been the same since getting rid of strongbow, however can usually get an angry orchard or aspalls but not here 🙃

Really unusual building from the outside. Really quick service and the pizza we ordered was delicious. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in West Bromwich.

All those people who gave 4 and 5 stars are either getting free drinks or work here. A couple of the staff have attitude problems, probably failed the McDonald's interview.
