I use this costa drive through a lot, however when I go now I feel like the staff in the drive through are very unprofessional and I also feel very uncomfortable when waiting for my drink. The girls answers the ordering system in the drive through laughing and distracted to the point I had to retell them my order again at the window. There was no greeting or morning said, just talking to themselves or talking through the head sets to each other (as no one else was in the queue) They make you feel uncomfortable because you are unsure of what they are talking about, or even if they are talking about you with the looks they give each other.

Went for breakfast as been before and enjoyed the afternoon teas here. Ordered the breakfast, really wish we hadn't. Sausage cooked but looked anaemic as did the toast. Eggs were greasy and hard. Scrambled eggs were a bit rubbery and werent really scrambled. Beans were microwaved to nuclear heat!! Mushrooms were spat out as disgusting, must be old ones! Coffee was hot however delux hot chocolate was luke warm Pancakes we're very nice. Such a shame as we're always on the look out for a good breakfast

My wife & I booked a meal at The Oak Room, Albrighton Hall Hotel near Shrewsbury, as this was where we had our wedding reception - 20 years ago! The hotel looked magnificent as ever & it was great to visit this stunning venue once again. On arrival, we were greeted by Keah & Alex. Both looked after us brilliantly throughout the evening & knew that it was our wedding anniversary. Both Keah & Alex were so helpful, professional, polite & their level of customer was exceptional. Nothing was every too much trouble, whether it was asking details about the food listed on the dinner menu, taking photos for my wife & I of the evening or generally having a nice conversation about our wedding day & how lovely it was to visit again. The food was absolutely delicious & every course was very well presented. When desserts were ordered, a lovely touch from the chef & staff was an oval plate with two chocolate brownie bites upon it & the words 'Happy 20th Anniversary' underneath in chocolate sauce - wow! It truly made our evening. Thank you so very much to Keah, Alex & the chef at The Oak Room. We will certainly not wait another 20 years to visit you again, as I am sure we will be back over the coming months. Once again, thank you so very much.

Staying local so booked in for Sunday Lunch today. Certainly not disappointed, we had an amazing Sunday roast dinner beef and pork. Really well presented with side dishes of wonderful fresh vegetables, cabbage carrots and beans, you rarely get fresh vegetables now a days. We also had gorgeous Dauphinoise potatoes. We shared a huge Aston Mess their take on Eaton mess, so much fruit and cream yummy. The couple running the pub are so very nice, sad that it was so quiet but guess late in season. We did go back later for their Open Mike evening which was very well attended such a great community atmosphere. We will definitely be back and wish you both good things. P.S. Thank you for finding my bracelet too.

Having previously had a bad experience with this place a year ago we decided as a family to return to see if things had changed - they haven't. On arrival the restaurant was quite empty so I couldn't understand why the table was sticky? The starters were over cooked and the child meal was deep fried to within an inch of it's life albeit a generous portion for a 6 year old. Having ordered we had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for the main course. The adult chicken kiev is a smaller portion than the child's chicken nugget meal. Roasts were delivered without gravy, lasagne was burnt, cauliflower cheese was also burnt and the lamb shank was cold and had to be returned to the kitchen, the gravy was floating in grease as this was also cold. When they serve the food to you the server uses a tea towel which is in your food. If the place had been busy I would have understood the delay but it wasn't. There were actually tables that came in after us and left before us so perhaps I should have questioned this sooner. When approached by a server to ask if everything was okay I replied 'please don't ask' he then west away and come back and then asked 'is there anything that the kitchen could do better?' to which I replied - everything! When I asked for the bill the lady came across and said 'I've taken off the child's meal due to the problems that you have had' . I would have liked an adult/manager to perhaps approach us and ask why we were unhappy with the food and service that was delivered to us. In my opinion - avoid, avoid, avoid. There are much better places to eat in Coventry that have edible food and a good atmosphere.

Good place to have coffee and a snack after trudging round the shops. Staff were friendly and helpful, all as expected from a Costa
