The best restaurants serving British food in Worcester West Midlands

Booked a table to be told most of the set menu was sold. Staff seemed flustered. But not very busy,took 20 mins for drinks to be brought to table as waitress forgot about us. Food order taken again 40 min wait to be brought food that was over cooked and drowing in vinegar as a dressing. Asked us on paying how was the meal advised it was just ok. Not what it used to be at all. Would we go back No. Shame used to be lovely there. Looks tired and a cool atmosphere down in the ditch.

Recently went for bottomless afternoon tea. Food was superb and the prosecco really nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We all really enjoyed it. Bit chilly in there though so please put your heating on! Not been here before but we will be back!

Good large space with plenty of room at the bar. PLenty of chpice on the keg taps. Went here as part of Worcester Music Festival (they were acting as one of the venues) so visited several times over the weekend. Good atmosphere.

This place never dips, always top quality food and also top quality service!!! It’s very relaxed and chilled so if you want everything in two minutes then it won’t be for you

Warm friendly helpful service and delicious curried parsnip soup with nice bread and proper butter. And tea in lovely mugs. So good!

Nice friendly Country Pub. No TV or music blaring , just lots of people having a good chat with friends.

I recently dined at The Anchor Pub & Kitchen in Worcester and had an exceptional experience. The fish and chips were outstanding, with light and crispy batter that was simply delightful. The service was both friendly and efficient, making the meal even more enjoyable. The pub boasts a great selection of beers, and the HPA is particularly noteworthy. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with a lovely beer garden for outdoor seating. I highly recommend The Anchor Pub & Kitchen for anyone seeking delicious food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere.

Food decent, but 40 mins wait time, which i thought was too slow. Other than wait time, very happy.

Bed was comfortable, food and service was great. Breakfast was very nice!! I love a hot, fresh cooked breakfast. Perfect poached eggs. I think it is overpriced for the value. For the price breakfast should be included or discount on food at the pub should be offered.

The food was really good, probably the best for the price I've tasted in Worcester recently. The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for service.
