Centenary Lounge in Worcester

Enjoyed a fabulous Cocktail Making Master class evening with my wife at Centenary Lounge in Worcester. Great experience in every respect. Lexie and Tamzin were delightful and really made our evening one to remember . Excellent value for money , with the food , service and above all the cocktails we made and drunk all 5 STAR rated. Will definitely be going again with friends to make Cocktails AND Mocktails!!!!.

Very poor service staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. We had to ask for cutlery. Which never appeared as the girl started to serve someone else. So we had to go up and ask again. We were there at 11.30 and asked what cakes they had the reply was we haven't got them out yet ! Toilets were pretty disgusting ! Will NOT be returning!

Although cafe looked visually appealing we were shocked by the attitude of staff member/owner. Visiting Worcester Xmas markets we went to have coffee and cakes here late afternoon. Tables were not cleared so we were just about to sit and wait when a woman came across and said we could sit at a clean table upstairs. My sister is in her 70’s and unfortunately very unwell - she couldnt face the stairs so we said we would stay down and were told well you can wait 5 minutes to have the table cleaned as she walked away dismissively waving her hand admonishingly. You may have had a long day but so had we and we were patrons - customer service skills abysmal - sour end to the trip .

As soon as you walk in, you know you are going to get a first class experience. Spotless clean environment, soothing music and very attentive staff. The menu is excellent and when the food came it was superb! The loaded hash browns was exceptional! You are missing a treat, if you don’t try it! Just go!! If it was near to where I live, it would be a weekly trip without fail. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The experience was delightful from start to finish. The ambiance was charming, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The assortment of tea blends was impressive, and the scones were simply divine. As for the smoothies, they were refreshing and bursting with flavor. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit. I highly recommend Centenary Lounge for a delightful afternoon tea and smoothie experience. 5/5 stars!

Worcester has a lot of decent cafés, so there's tough competition. Centenary Lounge fits right in. Glamorous decoration, central location pleasant staff. Sensibly priced, rapidly becoming one of our favourite places for brunch.

An elegant afternoon tea service was a delight! Happy they offered either a sweet (scone) choice or a cheese plate. Excellent little sandwiches and variety of cheeses. The wine was also good. Service was attentive and prompt. Ambiance was first class. A lot to like about this experience. Try it!

Our café of choice in Worcester city centre.Good food and drink served by efficient friendly staff in classic 1930's inspired surroundings.Not cheap but more than happy to pay that little bit extra for the experience of old time luxury offered here.Has the added advantage of being a dog free establishment which is unusual to find these days.Highly recommended for breakfast.lunch or that special afternoon cream tea.

I was quietly enjoying a mocha (absolutely perfect in itself) when two other customers ordered Negronis - they told me that Megan mixes an excellent Negroni. They were 100% accurate!

Made to wait an hour ! And then quality was not good . My mother in Law is/ was a big fan of the Worcester cafe, so when chance to treat her family on New Year’s Day she booked a table for Brunch. We sat in the window and waited and waited over an hour, then the quality and quantity was terrible, the plum tomatoes and humus with pomegranate was small with 3 seed amongst two plates, 1 piece of halloumi and not plum tomatoes, my veggie breakfast was better, cold but better although I ask for veggie sausages and they didn’t come with, only 10 minutes later and inedible. We complained and got free coffee, whoppee, day spoilt and mother in law upset. My wife emailed to complain but no reply. No head office contact number, only a lengthy piece on the various awards Aasia Baig had won . It will be interesting if I am to get a response to this 🤔

My daughter and I popped in for lunch - the English breakfast was amazing and the salmon sandwich was very fresh and tasty. My daughter had a delicious cocktail. Lovely warm atmosphere and greeted by a friendly smiling waitress.

Came here for a quick lunch with my wife. Small bottle of Diet Coke was £3 and small bottle of soda water to go with white wine was £2. Soup was £6.50 and fish goujon sandwich was £9. I think the whole bill was about £25 which seemed a bit expensive.

Afternoon tea 🫖 voucher as a birthday gift and booked in. All well organised and a reminder emailed too. Really lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Proper leaf 🍃 tea which is a rarity these days Friendly service. Would definitely return.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I booked here for my sister in law’s bridal doo (26.7.22) Cocktail/Mocktails master class and Prosecco/classic afternoon tea for 17 hens which 1 was a 12 year old Aasia was flawless in everything, she certainly knows her cocktails. They also put the decorations up that we gave them Amazing hospitality, couldn’t fault a single thing excellent food, drinks and service If you’re looking for something different for a hen or any other celebration, I highly recommend booking cocktail/mocktails masterclass and afternoon tea I’ll definitely be going back (that’s if I’m allowed) lol

Recent visit where we enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea. A nice selection of sandwiches, along with scones and cheese & biscuits washed down with a lovely glass of wine. The setting and the excellent service made the experience most enjoyable.

What a disappointment this was yesterday when we visited. The waitress service was dreadful. We waited 45 minutes for our dessert and left in the end. Very disappointed.
