Cafe Afloat in Worcester

Lovely place to stop for Drinks and snacks. Situated in the canal basin and only 3 minutes walk from the river front. Had a lovely Breakfast sandwich and tea. Well done Dave and your team great food location and service

Always excellent coffee and cake

Not eaten here for a while. Used to love the bacon sandwiches but this time I noticed less bacon and the price had gone up. I know you have to make a living but at £18 for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees I expect it to be good. And the brown sauce is ghastly, I had to wipe it off with my serviette, definitely a cheaper brand, too sweet. Service slow, even though not that busy. Sadly I think it is probably my last visit.

Food looks great. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Service was very slow.

Lovely canalside cafe with great coffee and decent veggie options.

Absolutely lovely idea and a really lovely concept. It was pretty busy so we had a 20 min ish wait for 3 drinks which was a shame. Not the nicest hot chocolate but good value 💙

A warm welcome for those people (& dogs) looking for a drink and something to eat after walking along both banks of the River Severn, which is unusually located on a narrow boat in Diglis Basin, Worcester. Well worth a visit & great to support a small independent.

Great place to stop off for a drink. Dog friendly and plenty of seating. Staff are friendly.

Just here for a quick coffee. Plenty of outdoor seating, some under cover. Dog friendly - they get a free sausage! Great location on the canal basin.

Great little canal side cafe, I have had many nice coffees in the sun at this place,the staff are nice and helpful, the food is good and fairly priced, seats are provided and the cafe is dog friendly which is always a plus.only downside is the uk weather as that's the only thing that can ruin a vist to this awesome stop

Such a lovely place to stop for a bite to eat in a peaceful waterside location just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Very nice quality food at reasonable prices, and such nice lads working on the boat. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit.

Great food. Lovely humans. Service can be a little slow on food due to the nature of small kitchen. It’s most worth the wait!

Been down several times( mostly Sundays) and every time I have an excellent experience. Dogs are treated to a sausage and I get a lovely flat white n sausage sarnie. Can’t fault it. Proper sausages proper bread and a lovely experience. Keep up the hard work during difficult times .AAAA+++

Nice little atmosphere in great surroundings. My wife told me it was the best vegetarian sausage sandwich she’d ever had! My bacon and egg sandwich was superb. Tasty, thick bacon and beautifully soft granary bread.

Visit here on a semi regular basis and enjoy its relaxed atmosphere. Food and drink always fresh and service quick and well organised. Prices are OK, not cheap but not extortionate. The 4 star rating for the atmosphere is because its a favourite venue for dog walkers, which is fine, but some dog owners seem to think we all love their dogs as much as they do. When the dogs are well trained and behaved, it's all good, but it's irritating when the dogs are either left to wander, sniffing around your table, or barking and whining at other dogs. I'm not a dog hater, I just dislike untrained owners!

A hidden gem in the diglis basin with a superb menu for both food and drinks. The chaps running the kitchen were courteous and you even get a free sausage for your dog with any food order. Made a sunny day even better. Highly recommend the veggie chilli loaded chips.

Great setting, cool idea. Went with a friend on Sunday. She loved her BLT but must say that I was a little disappointed with my tuna jacket spud. Tasted fine, but presentation left a bit to be desired. The tuna mayo seemed to have been through a blender? A kind of grey/brown mush.... shame as all else was good.

We had sausage( vegan and normal), egg and mushroom bap. It was delicious!! Service was great, sun was shining. Very reasonable too. Go double shot on your Americano xxx

We followed cycle route 45 and found the gen that is Digley Basin and the Cafe Afloat. Really taste toasties and pretty good coffee. Highly recommend

Friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. Puts on a number of themes and entertainment from BBQ/ Pizza Oven & live entertainment. Great added value as prices have to go up across the board for businesses!

It's decent, we visit regularly but it's quite over priced. The cakes however fall to bits, not sure why my daughter likes them 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'll keep coming back but I'd spend more if it wasn't so expensive and better quality in the cake department 🙈 Drinks and other food on offer are great.

Nice location to seat outside. Food is prepared directly at the boat. Dog friendly. Burger worth trying.

Lovely outdoor lunch at Cafe Afloat. Service was friendly and the menu offered a good selection of sandwiches, wraps, jacket potatoes and cakes. Our food was beautifully fresh and tasty. Thank you.

Hot chocolate was Luke warm , and iced latte was all ice , with very little latte

We had a very nice bacon roll and lovely cup of tea .Luckily I didn't have to order as my mate almost had to get on his knees

A really lovely floating service cafe with outdoor seating at Diglis Basin. There is a covered area incase of rain, but as all the locals know, it never rains in Worcester. A comprehensive menu of teas, coffees, hot sandwiches and cakes, all displayed with prices.

Our first visit in more than 2 years. Cafe Afloat has a new owner and now offers a great selection of toasties, jacket potatoes, soup, cakes, hot and cold drinks and ice cream. Lovely sitting next to Diglis Marina in the sunshine. Highly recommended.

Great food , good prices, great setting

A lovely cafe in a beautiful location. The staff are fun and friendly and the service was very good. There are hot drinks, cake and simple snack food available which smelled great. The location is great for a walk along the river or canal and there were plenty of dog walkers around. The cafe gave us a key to access the toilets next to the dock so there are facilities available. The dock car park is similar cost to any in Worcester but there is free parking in the local streets (if you can find a space) for a maximum of 2 hours. Definitely worth a visit if you are local or visiting and fancy a walk with a coffee/cake stop. We'll be going back. 👍

Stooped here when walking along the river, decide to have lunch there, the food is cooked to order and very reasonably priced, nice seating area by the locks.

Well I had an amazing egg Mayo sandwich The bread was amazing .. also finished off with a nice Jamie dodger shortbread. Service was good - they were so so busy. Great to see a lovely independent business doing so well. I will be back

Reasonable coffee & food in scenic position

Warm welcome, lots of selection and very reasonably priced. Grandparents love it here and the nice day to day chat Dave and his team have with them. Highly recommend!

Travelling on a Narrowboat Holliday found this little gem that our kids wanted to spend their hard earned money on My daughter Demi said they had the best smoothies she had ever tasted & my son Brandon thought the bacon & sausage sandwich’s were great Great menu & friendly staff such a lovely find whilst cruising the Cut
