Just had the most fantastic meal! Chicken, mushroom and leek pie, dauphinois potatoes, superb gravy and peas plus two pints of excellent beer. Extremely tasty!! Cosy pub, and amazing log fire.

Proper old school pub with real ale and full of locals. Well worth a visit for the Sunday roast: absolutely exceptional. One of the best roasts I've ever had in a pub.

Smashing Sunday roast dinner...all the trimmings. Couldn't manage a Pud. Very welcoming, short staffed so the whole family chipped in to help.

Old style pub, lovely sight of locals at the bar in good cheer, whilst retaining a welcoming atmosphere. Owner/chef? Was friendly and amenable even when I changed booking last minute when the person I was meant to be dining with cancelled on me. I dined alone rather than cancelling. And I’m very glad I did. Friendly staff, Brilliant Sunday lunch, pink beef, crispy potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding…….bought back memories of my mums famous yorkies, never been matched before…..so high praise indeed! Price was incredibly reasonable. Would’ve paid more! Hidden away but well worth a visit.

A warm and friendly Sunday welcome from both staff and locals! Excellent ales, lovely wines. Beautiful pink roast beef with an array of freshly prepared vegetables, crisp roast potatoes and rich thick gravy! A varied and substantial cheeseboard all unhurried and relaxed. Great atmosphere. Very enjoyable!!

We went this Pub for a drink and a meal. I have given it five stars as it really warrants it. Great selection of local beers and ciders. Also very nice selection of wines. The food was excellent with a good selection to suit most tastes. Staff are friendly and helpful. What really ticks the box this is a country pub serving food and drinks with great atmosphere staff drinks and food. We have lived in this area for over 10 years tried lots and this is set the best.

Just had a really good meal here . I’ve been to quite a lot of pubs that have served really mediocre food . This was a cut above . I had a pork chop which was excellent . Husband had the mixed grill and said the steak was really good. Chips were well cooked and crispy . Good selections of ales too .

Been three times now and eaten on all occasions. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. Highly recommended.

What a load of Pollock's .! Well, this is exactly what you expect from an British country pub. Great beer. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. The fish(British Pollock) and chips were fantastic (massive quality portions), and the beer 🍻 was equally great. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. I would seriously recommend. Do your self a favour and try it.

Likely a place frequented by locals mostly but we wandered in for a good pint and food. The staff were friendly and genuine. The food was delicious, and beer selection was excellent.

Sunday ROAST dinner. Delicious. Two choices: Beef or Pork.The roast dinner comes with a family size Cauliflower Cheese casserole dish. Adult dinner, and they offer smaller portion for kids. The Green Dragon has ample parking. They had a nice fire going for us in the back room. Everyone was friendly. I would highly recommend eating Sunday lunch here.

OK meal but ordered pork & got beef. Tepid not hot. Bar maid pulled Gunness & cider like was an ale. Not sure I will return. Cauliflower cheese was great but stewed veg under beef was not great sorry-could be great but bar staff lack training .

We celebrated our dad's 95th Birthday here and can highly recommend it. The reception and service from all of the staff/owners was fantastic. The food was excellent and the range of real beers was both extensive and good quality. To cap it all Millie (their 16 year old daughter) made a fabulous birthday cake - many thanks to everyone at the Green Dragon for providing a great location.

Visiting The Green Dragon for 1st time, as I learnt my family were landlords for 300 years. Fell in love with charm and peace of the building ,beautiful garden and glorious in sunshine. John and his Sister and daughter were warm and welcoming, friendly and made us so very welcome. The food is so delicious, Fish and Chips and the Royal Beefburger are to die for. And still keeps the old beams and open fireplace and stone floors. Just Magic.Can imagine Christmas round the fire.was a perfect meal and a perfect day.

Fabulous,charming 400 + Pub , quiet, original Beams,stone floors (original). Original open fireplace.Beautiful garden, glorious in sunshine. John is so warm and friendly,as is his SIster. We had Royal beefburger and I had fish and chips, wow, they were so delicious .Best fish and chips I have eaten and Malc said beefburger to die for. Fabulous people, wonderful pub.Definitely going back. Definitely 110%. Will recommend to all.

We loved this place. And John Oliver made us so welcome. Warm log fires, amazing choice of ciders, cassis to die for and blinking Norah the absinthe was astonishing. We just might have to move up the road !

Embarrassing that a lovely pub like this isn't serving food it should be a thriving food oriented business but it's just a drinking hole now my advice would be to a get a chef

Fantastically kept beers and the food was lovely too. Steak and Ale the best I've tasted for a long time and the Lasagne was excellent too. Friendly landlord and good service although the barmaid was a little slow and very weird to say the least

Having been to the nearby Hop Pocket we were recommended The Green Dragon for our evening meal. Its a fab old building with low beams, an amazing open fire in the bar and lots of log burners in other rooms to give the place a lovely feel to it. The Rump steak was really good, cooked as ordered and the trimmings with it were lovely too, the other half had the homemade Fish Pie and siad it was one of the best she had tasted. The staff woere friendly and helpful although the barmaid was a little weird, we thought she was out of the Adams Family at first sight! We would happily return when we are next in the area.

Four of us booked for Sunday lunch having been recommended to try this lovely pub. We were so glad we did! Lots of beams, roaring fire, friendly landlord - nothing pretentious here, just excellent service, delicious food and good choice of drinks. Beef and pork were 'melt in the mouth' with generous portions of perfect veg. Desserts (we had apple pie, sticky toffee pud and waffle) were all tasty and plentiful. The building is tucked away behind another pub, so not easily visible from the road, but well worth seeking out. Separate car park about 50 yards away.

We went as a group after a long walk and had booked our Sunday lunch here. There were nice of us all told and we were more than happy with the fayre on offer. The Sunday roasts were delicious, plenty enough and lots of vegetables. A lovely place to lunch and have a beer or two after a long walk. The service was decent and friendly, ther beers were very good and plenty of them including one that was brewed locally. We will return if in the area again.

All had a good time at the Green Dragon, food was good with generous portions, service was with a smile on ones face and all round an excellent place to eta and drink. The real ales, think there were six were in good condition and we look forward to trying them all again sometime in the near future.

Called in here for food with the family and wasnt disappointed, presentation was lovely, the food itself was very good, steaks were especially good, friendly landlord, nice staff and the beer selection was good with 6 pumps on the bar and a few ciders too. Will be back before too long.

Whilst staying nearby we visited here for drinks and food and wasn’t disappointed. Food was freshly cooked and portion size was big. Lovely old historic pub in rural village.

Called in last week. Really well presented and tasty pub dinner - Scampi and chips was excellent, beyond normal pub food. Really nice friendly atmosphere with locals & visitors and great service.

This very good pub is NOT in Worcester, or nearby. Its 15 miles away. There is only one pub listed for Bishops Frome. Probably fine if you like SKY TV and Karioke (I dont).The Green Dragon has neither of these 'attractions'. Welcoming staff, great logfires, excellent beer, and good food combine to make for a great experience.

So good we are returning for our annual Christmas outing this year. We were so well looked after last year with nothing being too much trouble for the hosts. Car park is a step away from the pub but is easy walking. A good, varied menu.

Lovely black and white village pub spoilt by the locals who block the main bar. They are always there and do not move. Such a shame they spoil it for other people. Hosts are lovely but they need to discourage this. Plenty of space to move those men blocking the bar.Good wines beers and cider. Very good food. Also sometimes there can be too many dogs in pub. Lots of other people feel this that have spoken to. Tables with reserved signs on hours before they are due to arrive. Very off putting .

Apart from the consistent warm welcome and ambience, scrumptious food and well kept beers - today I indulged in the English cream tea cheesecake . If anyone is in the vicinity I would urge you to drop in and try this wonderful creation, absolute bliss . Beautifully crafted and presented. - thank you chef ⭐️

Decent food and service coupled with a good selection of well kept beers. Lunch was very pleasant although steaks were cooked one level over ie med rare was med and blue was rare to med rare.

One of our favourite haunts, the Green Dragon never fails to provide the wow factor. The welcome for us ( plus our dog!) is consistently great, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, customer service is exemplar, there is a wide range of beers and ciders and the food - there are insufficient adjectives to describe the high standards in menus options, ingredients, presentation and taste. Thank you all - keep up the excellent work.

The green dragon is a lovely dog friendly pub with beautiful open fires great on a cold day , very friendly staff and run by a lovely young family , this little pub is great for watching sports or just sitting and reading a book in one of the smaller rooms next to the fire , lots of choice of different ciders and bitters to taste and the food was excellent, all home cooked from local suppliers, definitely worth the trip , thank you for a fabulous afternoon, we will definitely be back soon ,

Although I am fairly local, I haven’t been in the Green Dragon for years. I’d forgotten what a lovely pub it is and was pleasantly surprised by it’s cleanliness and warmth. The staff were really welcoming and polite and a very comprehensive menu included good vegetarian options and specials board. Despite being 12 of us, the food came out all together, nicely presented, plenty of it and really tasty. I would thoroughly recommend to others and will definitely not be leaving it too long before I return. Very well done to the young couple running it, you’re doing a great job!

What a pub should be like... Good ale, good food, friendly folks and the odd dog or 5. Was visiting close by for the weekend but felt a shame to leave. Thanks again for the onion!!

Just had the most fantastic roast dinner. Excellent food, excellent service and fantastic value for money. Can't recommend it highly enough and will be sure to visit again very soon. Lovely pub log burning fire really cosy and friendly

Lovely feel to the place nice open fire outside seating needs a clean food reasonably priced. Would have given 5 stars but like lots of country pubs, the locals hog the bar area and you have to say excuse me to get a drink. Surely this should be kept as a serving area as there's plenty of seats in the rest of the establishment?

We had traditional local Sunday Roast, beef and pork, both served with fluffy yorkshire pudding, crunchy potatoes and stuffing, the vegetables were fresh (al dente broccoli, carrots, red cabbage and cauliflower cheese) and we were offered crackling with the beef (it obviously came with the pork!).

A brilliant meal for four in a lovely old pub. As soon as we walked in (and despite being full) the welcome was warm and attentiveness spot on. The food was really good quality and at a very reasonable price, and an excellent selection of ales and cider. A great pub off the beaten track that deserves to do really well. We'll certainly be back again (very soon). Thanks for a great lunchtime meal!

Stopped in for a pint and some food in the week, and the whole experience was brilliant. Food and service outstanding, excellent choice of ales and ciders. Couldn't recommended it enough.
