The best restaurants serving British food in South Staffordshire West Midlands

I knew this place was cheap and cheerful and it was - food was good and as expected - loads of space for family and chatting BUT the play area is totally awful- there can be no explanation for the volumes and volumes of dog poo. Literally in the play area itself and just everywhere you look in the grass. I was shocked and just not acceptable - I am dog owner but clearly one of the responsible ones: shut the play area off if you cannot keep it clean. I really cannot emphasise enough how much it should be shut.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly service at The Courtyard. Would recommend The Courtyard as a party venue and a great place for entertainment for family and friends as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves over the Christmas period there!

average food stuff like toasties, breakfast baps and omelettes e.g. Nice cakes however cash only is a bit annying.

This is a really great restaurant! Me and my family went out for dinner on a busy Friday night. We were initially greeted by amazing, down to earth staff who showed us to our table. Amazing selection of drinks and the food service was quick. Amazing range of food and there is something for everyone. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Sunday lunch today at The Foresters 1st time I have been but will not be the last. Absolutely lovely.Highly recommended.

Thanks to the staff for squeezing us in, I recommend reserving a table in advance at this lovely locals pub. Great food, great prices and lovely staff.

It's hard to find a parking spot, but once in the pub/ restaurantis very nice. Food is good

Brown haired lady with cool glasses at the bar remembers us from before, even though we hadn't been in for a while. She stayed calm during service and promoted a great atmosphere. Never a bad experience here!

15/02/25 - Thank you to the team and in particular the young lady who served us for our evening meal. We often drive past and say we need to book a table. what a lovely venue, good food, clean, polite and professional staff, but most of all, the staff were particularly good at making sure you were looked after and checked in on you just at the right pitch to check all is ok and if there is anything else we needed. The plus is that its also dog friendly. Both my wife and I will definitely be visiting again. A special thank you to the young lady who served us, sadly we didn't ask for her name but her professionalism to detail was noticed and greatly appreciated. So thank you 🙏🏽

Came today for the carvery having not been here before. The service and tables were good and what you'd expect from a local pub, and good of the pub to seat 11 of us all at one long take. The carvery was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Good choices of meats and loads of different veg - the roast potatoes were a highlight! I didn't have room for any pudding but a few others on the table had them and they looked pretty impressive. Definitely coming back soon!
