The best restaurants in South Staffordshire West Midlands

On Valentine’s Day, my partner made a reservation online for a table; however, at no point was it indicated that the sole dining option available for that day would be a Valentine’s Day special priced at £60 per person. From my perspective, the menu offered was limited, featuring only two fish dishes, one pork dish, and one vegan option. I had anticipated a more diverse selection, as I do not believe it is customary to impose a set menu without prior notice. Had I been informed of this constraint, I would have chosen not to make the reservation. Furthermore, we were not the only patrons who decided to leave the establishment on that day, as several others expressed dissatisfaction stemming from the lack of communication regarding the set menu. DEPOSIT WAS NOT REFUNDED OUTRAGEOUS.

The breakfast was excellent value for money. The food was excellent as well and the service was friendly and good 👍.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery. The food was excellent, portions were large and the service was brilliant.

We love this pub, the staff are lovely, the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Even better, is that they allow dogs in certain areas so we recently took our puppy for his first meal (they have a doggy menu!!l)

A medium sized pub near the eastern end of the high St, lovely on a hot summers day as large outdoor area, well kept beers, another bca great pub

Amazing café, vibe was really welcoming and made you want to stay longer. Staff very attentive nothing g too much trouble. A little on the pricey side but so worth it as the quality of the food was fab. Will definitely be revisiting.

Best chippy in Wolverhampton. Always fresh, they don’t use frozen fish like other places. Staff are very friendly highly recommended.
