Arranged to meet a friend here as wanted to help local cafe. Nice to see it full but was full of cyclists who seemed to take over and dominate the cafe. We sat in the conservatory which was lovely until the cyclists kept coming in and out of the door selfishly leaving it open. Food was good, bacon and avocado on toast, eggs benedict plus 2 hot drinks. This came to £25, bit steep for breakfast, don't think I will use again.

We used it as a pit stop on the way home. Only 5 minutes off the m6 we stopped here for a snack and a drink. It was lovely, the food was great and good value. Service was brill, the girls were cheery and helpful. And you could either order at the counter or they would come to your table.Great feeling cafe in the village. Would recommend visiting. It was cash only

This is my second review of Lazy Days, ( although I’ve visited 4 or 5 times) the first being less good as I couldn’t understand why so soon after lunch service had begun so few of the specials were unavailable🧐. This time round we were offered 3 specials and all were available, happy days. My friend had the excellent stew and I had the chilli nachos, all helped by a portion of dirty fries. The service was great as was the food and coffee, setting us up for an afternoon in The Swan drinking super ale and watching fab rugby. Well done team Lazy Days, see you next year if not before.

We arrived at 2.00pm , on goggle and outside the cafe it says closes at 3.00pm . My partner and I busted after going to cannock hospital to check my partners new hip , I dropped him off and he is on crutches, I parked the car and sat down with two menus at 2.05pm , looking through the menu we made our choices , for the waitress to come and say they stop doing food at 2.00pm , but can serve coffee and cake . I said well it is 2.05 ! And that on the website and your door times this does not state this , she said she would ask the kitchen , she came back out and no food as they was cleaning the kitchen . I said that you need to update the net , too he told it was the old owners goggle account and nothing to do with them ! They then said it is on Facebook , i looked when I got home , nowhere does it say about that food would stop at 2.00pm . So a very disappointing visit , you need to update your signs , and social media . We travelled there on purpose to have some lunch , very disappointing. My partner then struggled to get up again to leave . This was his first outing in two weeks after a hip operation , and wanted a lovely lunch . I think we was not brewood enough for them ! Will never return.

I feel sad writing this review. As a fairly regular customer I've used lazy days for business meetings, friends and family get togethers many times over the years. I feel the service has started to wane getting to the point where you feel a little awkward just having a coffee sometimes. It's not like we haven't had breakfast, lunch and bigger gatherings here before. It now feels like we're an inconvenience to the staff. I don't think I'll return now sadly and find somewhere else to spend my money. A little advice - people don't mind spending a little more, especially locally, if the service is really good and you are made to feel welcome each time you visit. You don't mind waiting a little longer for your order if it's really busy. Try not to forget that otherwise more and more customers will slip away quietly and spend their hard earned somewhere else. It's a shame as the food is decent and so are the hot drinks. Closing at 3pm isn't a great idea either.

We arrived for our pre booked table for 12:30, noticing that lunch was served 1200-1400. Having study the short lunch menu, we were then told that the Lasagne and Beef burgers weren’t available, neither was the chilli or stew off the specials…. Given that there were 14 other people some not eating I wonder how a short (acceptable) menu becomes devoid of 4 key dishes 30 minutes into service.., whilst I’ll be back for coffee don’t think I’ll risk lunch again!

Visited here with my friend recently for a coffee. I hadn’t been for about 3 years but I can confirm that it is still as nice. Unfortunately they had ran out of scones, which both of us wanted, but they recommended other treats for us instead. The rocky road was lovely (and didn’t have any raisins in it which I was happy about) and the cappuccino was so smooth and really good coffee, not to mention all the frothy milk and the lovely cinnamon biscuit on the side, which is something that many coffee shops don’t do anymore but as a coffee lover, a biscuit with the coffee is very important! Would love to come back for lunch next time as I remember the onion rings being amazing!

Have to say on a Sunday afternoon there was a few cyclists in as always, we found a table, staff prompt with appropriate menus, adults and children 5 and a 2 yr old. Took our drinks orders which were prompt, 2 chocolate milkshakes, fresh orange juice and a tea. We ordered children ham sandwich, jam sandwich, soup tomato and chorizo, delicious and scone and jam and cream, staff young and knew the knowledge of putting things on tables away from the children and we used a spare table to rest things on, jigsaws provided, car magazines for adults even though we enjoyed sharing it to an obsessed 2 yr old!! Faultless, well done everybody ! Definitely return, keep it family friendly and as I saw adult friendly in the conservatory and dog friendly outside

The cafe is decorated in French style with conservatory at the back, popular with walkers and cyclists as well as local. Choose BLT in baguette and scone, unfortunately they had no baguettes and served it on cheap white bread which was soggy as soon as it was delivered to the table. The bread was buttered and absolutely dripping with mayonnaise so I literally could not eat it - probably partly my fault as I did not tell them I dislike buttered BLT. I also felt the scone was not fresh and coffee was mostly froth. Altogether disappointing. Had quite a long wait for drinks to be delivered.

Visited here after having not been since the old owners left. Ordered an English breakfast and was not impressed; the sausages were pre-cooked (or tasted like they had been pre-cooked and reheated), toast was pre-buttered (prefer to butter my own toast) and the cappuccino coffee was mostly froth. Really disappointing and definitely not as good as when it was previously owned.

I don't know if it was because it was so busy (a good sign) but when I visited for the first time in a while I was disappointed compared with the last visit. It seems a bit mean leaving an average score when so many people rate Lazy Days Café so highly but I can only speak from personal experience. The service was friendly and welcoming, if a little chaotic. Drinks were brought out quickly and the coffee was good. I decided to order egg on toast, or two eggs on toast as it was listed on the menu. When the waitress took my order she asked if I wanted fried, poached or scrambled, so given the options I went for scrambled.Unfortunately, what I received was a bit of a disappointment. It didn't seem like two eggs to me, unless they were both very small. It was also rubbery - not fluffy at all and very easy to cut into slices. The bread was standard white too - a bloomer would have been better, or even the option of brown bread. As I mentioned, I do feel mean leaving an average mark, but plusses for the service and coffee, and a minus for the poor scrambled egg on toast leaves me thinking an average is about right. I hope the Lazy Days Café see it as constructive criticism.

We often visit this pretty little café when we are visiting family members in the lovely village of Brewood, and if you are ever looking for a place to eat locally here, I would highly recommend Lazy Days. This Quaint Café is very homely when you walk inside and all staff are friendly and welcoming. What I also like about this eatery is that they don't constantly bother you when your eating your dinner, like so many other places do, asking you a million times during your meal if anything is ok which I know is a annoying problem for a lot of people when eating out. Here they are just the right kind of Good Service, they ask if you want any sauces just before your meal arrives and then leave you in peace until your meal is over and then ask if you want desert or any more drinks - perfect.Food is of good standard, my other half claims they do the best cheese and potato pie in the world!

Very pleasant and relaxed cafe. Menu varied and includes classics you'd expect in a an upmarket cafe. Great quality and reasonable prices. We've had lunch several times in 2015, keep meaning to go back earlier in the day to try a breakfast.Popular so biggest problem sometimes is getting a good table.

After a couple of miles walk from coven we arrived in Brewood ready for a cool drink. The Lazy Daisy was light breezy and welcomming. A breath of fresh air. The cool drink turned into a light lunch. The chicken and bacon salad was one of the best I have had any where. Fresh tasty and well presented. My husband had the plaice goujons with salad. Gorgeous. The owners were friendly and chatty. The loos. Well follow the sign to beach....excellent will definitely be making a return visit to you guys. Thanks.

Remembering this place as a charming but dark and cluttered antiques shop, the first pleasant surprise on re-entry after fifteen years living away was the light and roomy eatery into which it has been transformed. Second lovely touch – not as much of a surprise, given the TripAdvisor ratings, but even more pleasant than the setting – was the welcome I was given when I went in, having finally gotten round to parking up in the village and checking them out whilst passing through Brewood (as I do regularly nowadays on my drive to and from work). The warmth of the welcome, the attractiveness of the setting, the packed weekday lunchtime clientele and, naturally, the look of the food coming out: all contrived to persuade me to stay and have a bite to eat. And so to the main event: my bacon and stilton panino with (oh, go on then) chips was absolutely delicious, really good ingredients and fresh presentation – perfect. As I said, attractive surroundings, great, friendly hosting from the very accommodating staff, excellent fare; plus exceptionally good value – all this meant that I came away with a resolve to go back and sample even more of the great-looking dishes that other diners were clearly relishing… I even took away a slice of coffee cake and a flapjack with which to present the case for return to my wife. Case closed and we’re on our way. Even though I ate the flapjack myself. It was sublime.

We have made it a family tradition to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day with breakfast at Lazy Days. There is always a warm welcome and tasty food - whether that's a full English or smoked salmon. Highly recommended.

Had lovely tasty lunch today with my husband. The cheese and potato pie with salad is extremely good and I can't resist it!, . Many Brewood locals eat here which says it all you can be sure of home cooked food and a cheery welcome for all locals and visitors alike.

Made a special trip to come to lazy days . Can't fault the place or staff. Food excellent and freshly cooked to order . Squeezed in a cake for afters and wow so glad I did! Scones are the best I've ever tasted and would highly recommend anyone visiting either for just coffee or a full blown pig out on all the yummy foods.

Called in here for the first time whilst in the area for some light lunch (Sunday). We were quickly shown a table by a very nice member of staff who served us throughout. My wife, daughter and I had a nice omelette each and hot drinks. Service was lovely. It’s a cosy, friendly place, it was a tad too hot for me if I’m honest, it could have done with a little ventilation as the cooking area is just partly segregated off the main dining area. A lovely stop off never the less. The garden centre that it’s part of is quite big & seemed to stock a very good range of healthy looking plants. There’s a small toilet block outside just off the car park.

Great beer by a great company. Never had a bad pint of Bathampton from a Bathampton owned pub

Excellent Chocolate Orange milkshake. Young staff seemed more interested in talking than serving. Highchairs and takeaway available.
