Disappointed to say the least. Food was awful. Won't be going again. Shame because I've been going there for over 30 years.

They force you to buy food from their restaurant, you're not allowed to make food on the truck. If a driver who doesn't have money parks, what does he do?

Been coming here for more than 25 years and everytime I do the costs goes up but the food gets worse and as for the miserable staff behind the counter and enough to put you off the slop they serve

Stay at the Hollies at least once a week the rooms are very clean and staff are amazing.Henry will go out of his way to ensure that everything is OK for you .The food is also amazing and cheap and the girls are all so nice a real pleasure to stay there

Arrived 10pm on a Sunday night to find bar shut & only vending machines available. Seems a lot to pay just to park 🤷‍♂️

Came to use the on-site 24hr Laundry always pop into the Café for a quick snack. Staff always very friendly and service is fast. Food is always to a very good standard and prices are reasonable. When it’s not so busy I’ve observed the staff cleaning the place to within an inch of its life which is always a good thing.

They are always up for a lough always professional they know what you want if yr a regular always have plenty of banter with most of them very friendly

My wife and I stopped here with friends and the staff are friendly the floor's were spotless considering its a truck stop toilets were very clean didn't try the food but it looked very nice and you can see the kitchen clearly from the counter and it looked very clean. Will visit again.

I have been going here for many years . We called today and I had the Liver dinner special of the day , Couldn't Fault it . The wife had a roast beef salad sandwich with a portion of chips . The place itself is having a face lift on the rooms upstairs for over night guests .

First time i have stopped here in a long time, and its going to be a lot longer untill the next time, food was expensive for what it was, the wash rooms were the same as last time i stopped here some 10 years a go, over all not good enough to spend my hard earned money

Myself and several mates popped in one evening, starving hungry, 2 of us had faggots mash and peas, 1 had cottage pie. Mates and I used to frequent the Hollies years ago, when we were assured of a good size truck stop dinner. This was nothing like it used to be. Compared to what it used to be, I would go as far as to call it the worst faggots n mash I have ever had. 2 small scoops of mash, faggots broken up, cottage pie looked like 1/2 house brick, and tasted like it was cut from a cold pie. Practically no gravy at all on any of the meals, that were just about warm in places. I had crumble and custard, while it tasted nice enough it was actually cold in places. Hard to believe it was plated up and served. Should have took a pic, will definitely not visit again.

For those who don't want to indulge in Costa coffee and a brioche, and have a traditional English breakfast with fried bread and toast ( all white bread). This is the place to come, the fried egg was perfect, the bacon well cooked, not dried up, a plump pink sausage, with beans, or tomato. All for 5 pounds. The service was excellent and the cafe, modern and clean.

I'm a truck driver and I be all over the uk, the hollies over the years has always been busy this past couple of years the have been spending a lot of money on doing this truck stop up and might I add have made a first class job of the lorry park. Inside the have added more showers which are great, only sometimes the pressure isn't great. Now I had a very bad experience with the food here and refuse to eat but I always see loads of people eating here. Sorry I will never ever eat there again but don't let me put any one off as for the rest of it it's great. They use Snap account for parking too. It can get very busy in there so recommend to get there fairly early to get a space.

Had to find somewhere near our hotel to grab a bite to eat very quickly. The food was good value and the service was efficient. What more could you ask for.

I remember when this was an old Transport Café, 40 yrs ago used to go in with my Dad.It was rough in them days,But today on a bikers day out ,what a transformation,Bright and clean,with friendly staff,who took my order,and with in 5 mins it was their the Mega B/fast and coffee £6,50 had to be bargain of the day,This is no Greasy Joes, Quality b/fast quality staff,SPOT ON

I think I could live here with the food, but I'd be so fat I'd never be able to leave the place!Despite it being mad busy, the staff as usual are fantastic, pleasant and make you feel at home. Why isn't everywhere like this ?

Went in for breakfast bank holiday Friday,tourists queuing out the door,the lady on the parking desk looked at my expression understood I only had a 30min break ,took pity on me ,took my order,food within 5mins that's what I call service you won't get anywhere else ,many thanks

I've been going here since the 80's. It has been extended and the menu is bigger than ever, but they are still pleasant staff and the food is brilliant. Nice to see progression hasn't changed quality

Always stop there when in the area have done for years better and cheaper than the motorway services always plenty on plate and down to earth plain and simple meals.

I highly recommend this place it's a wonderful place to be a good atmosphere lovely food lots of choices for food in a nice little bar and the staff are very polite and the night to have a good laugh and a joke I can't think of a thing to complain about I stayed over the rooms were nice comfortable clean a highly recommended five stars for me

We were told about this Transport Café a few years ago by a friend who was on the Heavies so gave it a go on our way down to the Channel Tunnel. We now always visit if we are going anywhere down south as it is the perfect distance from Early Morning Cup of Tea in Lancashire to Ready for Full English. We called here last Friday and as always the Medium Breakfast was excellent ( Think I would have to starve for 2 days to tackle the Large one). Service Excellent and Quick. Price real value for money. Why would you use a Motorway Service Station When this place is there?

Called here 3 times now on the way to Warwick, well situated off motorway, food order taken quickly, we found a table which had'nt been cleaned,the table next to us had'nt been done either,people at other 3 tables around us when they left the crockery+cutlery were collected but tables not wiped so full of salt sugar etc; we also could'nt find any clean knives, on the whole the food was good but we just think the overall cleaning needs a review,even truck drivers have cleanliness standards

Ive visited here over 10 times in the last 5 years....in the last 3 months, each time i have been extremely dissapointed with the welcome attitude, customer service and just general enthusiasm for a smile! Let alone food available!!!.....for the time, id expect cleaning to be ongoing, not empty shop+50% dirty tables!! Milk warm and left out?!!! Half the menu available and even what was disappointed us.Not the same place as before!! Very unfortunate! :(

Stopped here on journey from Scotland to Plymouth. Great value for money. I was last here about 15 years ago so was glad to see it was still going. Staff are friendly and helpful and the meals are hearty. Recommended

Great truck stop spoilt by their penny pinching. Which is charging for out side wi-fi and not even cheap at £2.50 for 24 hrs when lets face it, who is likely to be here for 24hrs ???? You would think that as part of making it the best that wi-fi would be free as it is everywhere else you go nowa days, even on a bus. Just pure tightness and greed really. Shame

We visited a few months ago and saw the premises had been changed; we asked for beef dinners; the meal was a disappointment; gristly beef, hard peas and greasy roasters; so yesterday we gave it a second chance. Never again! We ordered 2 x beef dinners and 1 beef Chilli with chips. Firstly, I asked for Horseradish sauce as I cannot stand mustard. None, they don't do it anymore. Then as we waited, the assistant informed us that there was not enough beef for 2 dinners, would we like Turkey or Gammon instead! [Why wasn't there a notice to tell customers there wasn't enough in the first place?] One of our party had the Turkey.The meals arrived. The white cabbage was hard and in large chunks, the same for the carrots and peas were like bullets (they may as well have been raw, which would have been preferable to be honest); the mash was tolerable, some lumpy bits at times, the gravy and the beef were the better parts. The roasters were also tolerable, the Yorkshire pudding, greasy. The Turkey was dry and thickly cut, with veg etc were the same as the beef dinner. The beef Chilli was the better meal, apparently. Never again! This truck stop had a fantastic reputation to local folk. We have used this place since at least 1999. What on earth has happened, we do not know. Pity. It will never be recommended by us again. Very poor. Unless you are a chips and burger fan, avoid.

We have a snap account & for £15 we get clean secure parking and a shower. The food in the cafe is priced well & you can have a cheap beer at the bar. Located on the A5 off junction 12 of the M6 it's an ideal stop over from Scotland to London. 10/10 from me & will use every time I'm passing.

Stopped for the night for the first time and it won't be the last!! Excellent parking facilities, clean, good home cooked food, friendly staff! It would be rude not to come back!!

If it's a full English you want any time of day or night this is THE place to come. The Mega breakfast is just that. All freshly cooked and sure to satisfy the hungriest of appetites my car just will not pass this place without tripping to auto pilot and calling in. If it's designer furniture you want stay away, remember it's a truck stop but there is a comfortable pub type area as well as the usual basic cafe style tables and chairs. Staff are very friendly but one look at the food and you're in love. There is a varied menu for those who don't just want the full English so go for it.

An all round good truckstop and restaurant good clean facilities and very nice cooked food and friendly staff, I definitely will be using this truckstop again.

Eat here occasionally when I am passing. Food is proper belly filling and piping hot. A reasonably clean place and good value for money.

Stopped here on way to pick my son up from V Festival. Found out about it by searching google wow what a place for brekkie and great for truckers. Prices are very reasonable and the amounts of food u get are great. Keep up the good work

I have been coming to this place occasionally for more years than I care to remember, primarily, I like to visit for one of their superb full English breakfasts ,these never fail to hit the spot and are well worth a quick run down from Telford when I need a proper quality breakfast. although they do some lovely meals for dinner as well, as my son and I can vouch for, and the whole dining area is nice and clean and tidy to, I can see why the truckers like this place, I know I do.

Not a trucker but I often stop here for breakfast on my trips from Bristol to Scotland.Great value and real grub. Just off the motorway, and much, much better than these crappy motorway services.

Visit here most Saturday morning ps for a full English breakfast. I live local so it's easy enough to get too. The whole place has improved so much over the last few years, so much money has been spent on getting the place looking superb! Now the truckers parking has been done and the site is more secure, it's becoming a great hit for the truckers as its just off the motorway. Great facilities on site too.

Food is dull same as it was 20 years ago toilets where in bad shape though the truck parking was better than is used to be pain in the but to get out of at busy times to

I visited on my own, whilst travelling up to Blackpool. I'd left home at 0415, so my 0600 stop was most welcome. My lovely breakfast arrived quickly and the free refill coffee, gave me the opportunity to have my thermal cup filled for the next stage of my journey. The place is always kept clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. Back again soon.

I park my truck here overnight quite regularly and I think it's the best truckstop by far. The food is excellent value, the massive pork chop is a must, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

I parked here for the first time last week. The shop was well stocked the food was good value, the only down side was after paying to park over night they still charge for the showers @ £1.20 for 7 mins

Staff here are some of the best. Currently undergoing improvements by concreting the whole of the truck park. This will make The Hollies the premier truck stop in the area. Food good too !

What can I say......a truck stop! It filled a gap. I would probably go for a breakfast next time. I think that's what they are best at!

I had a bacon and tomato sandwich felt ripped off, 2 pieces of bacon and a teaspoon of tinned tomatoes on extra thick bread...very poor!!!!!

I have visited the hollies regularly over 20 years and most recently visited it late one evening, its one of my favourite truck stop cafes, the food is generous, quickly served and at a good price, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Whenever I travel down south I always stop here as this is where my grandad used to stop when he was a lorry driver. Food is fantastic, massive portions, value for money. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Much better than what you get on the services

Four of us popped in for a late lunch, while travelling from Swindon to Chester. Once again food and service was excellent. Coupled with the excellent value, the Hollies Truck Stop makes it a very good reason to leave the M6 for all travellers.

Yes yes its a truck stop supposed to be basic. But homless shelters Have more luxury. And oliver twists meals were more attractive. Most hotels are at least to a standard where you can take off your shoes change in to pjs and relax. I almost waitin for some body to hand me those suits and over the shoe thingys wear when proforming a. Serious infestation problem. U feel the urge to wipe feet when exiting. From a mans point of view all that a side. They can grab a quick shower fill there faces. And in a way it kind of resembles an old saloon. Lots of flirtasious little bimboes to make advances towards and they certainly didnt object. Did a lot of encoraging tho. It would do well as those places you see on tv. For the tiered lonly cow boys to get laid. It would be a welcomed change for the staff there. Right ive given the place far to much of my time and money 38 a night. Total day light robery
