Me and my partner visit here often for a drink. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We recently tried the food with the new evening offer they have on and the food was lovely and service was great 😊

Have been a regular for 10 years. Last two meals have been exceptional, with a special mention to Tyler. Only reason for non 5 star has been the shocking ales and way they were kept last 8 months.

6 of us met here for a family get together. Good parking facilities prior to a lovely welcome and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and obviously a very popular place to eat. Good choice of on-tap beers. Plenty of choice on the menu and tasty food, a few more veg with the main meal would have been nice but overall a great experience

A very friendly pub, doing very good food at a reasonable price. We had 4 different meals, all of which were very nice. They have a 12-6 club where you can have a choice of a smaller portion or go for large. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Can't fault the meals all well cooked. Unfortunately I was too full to try a desert. Hopefully next time.

Poor service, slow. We weren't asked about any allergies, the menu does not state what is in the meals. For example the menu says steak and ale pie, mushrooms not a steak mushroom and ale pie. Misleading at best. The breaded potato cake that comes with the chicken wrapped in ham contains cheese and what seemed to be spring onion no mention on the menu . We had to ask after 20 mins if our deserts were coming then they arrived after a further 10 mins. Asked for the bill it hadn't arrived after 20 mins so we went to the bar to pay. When I spoke to the manager he had excuses of being short staffed and said he took the menu comments on board, no apologies. I walked out very unhappy that our anniversary for me had been ruined. Not the experience I paid for. The quality of the food was good but overall the experience was poor. I felt sorry for the waiting staff as at points they were running around. If they don't have the staff then the bookings shouldn't be taken and maybe explain when customers arrive.

Only went because my son was doing an experience day at the zoo next door. We’ve been once before for lunch and we’re not impressed, but we thought maybe that was a one off. Grease marked menus on paper, not even laminated or card to start with. X2full English breakfasts ordered, one with unlimited tea/coffee but was never offered any more tea than the original cup, really because most of the staff haven’t a clue what they’re doing. It’s a mess. The only slight good waitress is the one who walks around with a pen in her hair chewing gum constantly. Sausages were very strange and undercooked. Mushrooms, hash browns and eggs were lying in grease. We were asked if the food was okay, but who’s going to say it’s not on the spot without causing a scene. Small x2 person tables are incredibly close together. Asked the dark hair older woman for extra tea, after she’d offered to the tables near us, without asking us and she looked like she wanted to kills, at the same time also asked her for bill, it didn’t come after 15 mins of waiting so we went to the counter like thing to pay. £38 later, horrible meal and awful service. We won’t be back.

Hermoso almuerzo dominical. Vinimos en el apagado - oportunidad después de un poco de compras de bricolaje. Tenía la carne asada. Fue genial, caliente y delicioso. Gravy era casero también. No podía fallar.

Lovely tea room, staff were really good, smashing toastie with side salad, very clean and comfortable seating, busy , would not at all rushed off our seats, stayed a good 45 minutes

The restaurant does not open, residents a ‘sent to’ the adjacent eating house which is ‘ok’ but very loud an noisy, and far removed from any expectation of a tranquil resturant that would be fitting for the Hall itself.

I have always found Swan good value , good pub grub. Went for Xmas Fayre menu at £30.95 this was expensive for the quality of the meal! Cold . Hard sprouts no parsnips undercooked pigs in blankets … no very good at all . Not sure if there’s been a change of cooks but not a patch on what it was!

Muy decepcionado. El pan estaba empapado. No parecía fresco. Los pasteles sabían baratos. No vale la pena el dinero. Definitivamente no recomendaría y no se utilizará de nuevo.

Como aquí regularmente con mi familia, y siempre lo disfrutamos. Desde el año pasado he tenido que hacer muchas restricciones dietéticas debido a una condición de salud. Este ha sido uno de los pocos lugares que está feliz de responder a todas mis preguntas, hacer cambios en las comidas y hacerme sentir cómodo y bienvenido. Algo que muchos otros pubs que he tratado de comer recientemente no parecen dispuestos a hacer. Un agradecimiento especial a Tina y Dan por ser tan solidarios y amables.
