Fantastic experience, lovely food and great service. What more can I say than "Will come again!"

Me and my partner visit here often for a drink. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We recently tried the food with the new evening offer they have on and the food was lovely and service was great 😊

Delicious food beautifully served and a lovely lady called Jo was wonderful highly reccomend.

Went today had to wait approx 1hour for food when it came was cooked far too much didn’t wait to have my pudding only two staff on will not be going again

Sundy Lunch Never again... long wait, lukewarm food, lamb rump couldn't be cut with a knife, hardly any veg/chips on the plate... watery gravy.. Very poor value for money Stopped for a Maccys on the way home to stop me feeling hungry

We had a lovely lunch here a couple of weeks ago, and could not fault anything food was very good and our waitress was very helpful and friendly her name was Sydney x We are now coming back on the 29th for an early Mother's Day

Quite possibly the worst sunday dinner I've ever had ,wife sent hers back to be heated up as both were cold ,trio of meats were very small portions, take the big Yorkshire pudding off and plate is virtually empty ,also a very small amount of gravy if you can call it that ,which was very watery ,overall tasteless and very expensive for what it was £17.50 ,will not be returning

Had to wait a while for food but both food and drinks were lovely. They seemed short staffed and the toilets weren't that clean but overall a nice pub for an evening meal.

What a superstar Hayley is!! Clearly extremely busy, but still managed to smile despite being under alot of pressure. She went out of her way to ensure we were looked after and reseated us due to a large group of gents. Well done Hayley and thank you.

The staff working were very helpful and worked very hard to help with our allergies. We will definitely return soon to try the rest of the menu

Excellent food and even better service... My Partner and I came in on a Sunday, but we didn't realise they'd have a Sunday Menu.... luckily the server was more than happy to provide my partner with the Off Menu Chicken Burger Really friendly and accomodating staff

Slow service Sunday 26th January booked a table waited 20 minutes for it then got put on a different table and waited another 10 minutes to be served then another 15 minutes before we got our meal!! I was given the wrong meal so waited again for another to comeThis was warm not hot and 1 full slice of meat!! Really very disappointed and it’s not cheap to go out anymore!! Stop over booking it doesn’t help!! Can’t fault the staff but just not enough staff on a Sunday!!

Lovely food and great service! The 30% off Main meals was great and as a family of 4 in the school holidays it made it a super affordable treat!

I went here with my wife with the aim of having a Sunday dinner, the website looked nice and it was local. We was seated ordered drinks and then after we had aloud drinks we ordered food. I was told there was no Sunday roasts, which was annoying as I would have left if this information was given at the start. I then asked for a steak to which I was told there was no steaks, again something which would have been better told to me at the start, not half way through my drink.

The staff were very attentive and made sure I was well looked after, Thank you Jack and the team🫶

Everything was lovely food was great deinks had a wide selection as my wife is fussy. Overall will definitley visit again and have recommended to friends to visit and eat. Only gripe, which iant a massive issue was, we were seated and told someone would be over to take drinks orders but after 10 minutes noone came so ordered via qr code on the menu. The bar and restaurant seemed to be busy with only 3 staff on though so cant fault the guys. The whole place was very clean and inviting so overall a very good experience.

Lovely friendly place to visit was served by Sydney who made sure we had everything we needed and everything was up to expectation the entire visit never let our glasses stay empty for long. Food service was quick not much waiting time and was beautifully cooked to request. All lovely staff very friendly nice quiet place to go for food or drinks.

Atmosphere was lovely, however it's very cold and decor needs updating. The service was shocking. Three people clearly seen at front of house but all customers placed in one corner of the pub. Then they are standing around talking and not serving, clearing or interacting with customers. I have ordered a kebab and there has been no check back on the food, but the food is dry, with over cooked meat to the point you can't even cut through it. Then we've sat around for ages with noone clearing the table or checking on us. We want to pay and can't even do this with ease. There are by far better restaurants around and would highly say go there instead of here unless you want a side of disappointment to your meal.

This was our 3rd Christmas day lunch, there will not be a 4th. Food was ordered 2 months in advance so no excuse for there being no vegan soup. The dinner was piled in a heap and not a lot of it my husband had only 2 sprouts. I did expect better for £71 per head. We have been regular customers but this has put me off.

Nice friendly pub, main courses are value for money and come out piping hot. Unfortunately they’d ran out of steak, 2 of the guests wanted to try. No tartare sauce for the fish. Desserts were small portions for the amount paid, two of the alcoholic drinks were considerably high in price compared with similar establishments and maybe even more than London prices. Service was good, staff are friendly and helpful, pub overall has a nice cosy atmosphere

Six of us had lunch to celebrate my daughters birthday. Started being informed only one draught beer on offer. Very poor service , waited over an hour for mains to be served. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks order to be taken. There appeared to be only one person serving . When the meals arrived they were very poor. The gravy on my wife`s roast dinner was cold and had no taste. Also no boiled or mash potatoes. My Hunters chicken was small ,over cooked and served with a pile of just green stuff and a few over cooked chips. When our two grandsons starters arrived they both looked with amazement at the small quantity on the plate. They both also said their steaks were the poorest they had ever had. WE ALL HAD A BETTER MEAL A FEW DAYS AGO AT WETHERSPOONS IN KINGSWINFORD THAT WAS IN EVERY WAY BETTER.LET ALLONE THE PRICE.

Just been, no Hobgoblin, Wainwright, Guinness, so had lager! Then asked for a large glass of wine, only to be told there were no large glasses! A member of staff then offered to wash a couple he had just collected but intended to have another round. The staff were polite and apologetic, but the run-down state of the pub, windows flaking and rotting, stained curtains certainly doesn't warrant the prices charged for poor choice and environment!

Boxing Day Christmas meal. Lovely food, nice selection. Always difficult but the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you and well done.

We only had a drink after a canal walk. £13 for two ales!! Won’t be returning in a hurry

Welcoming environment, warm atmosphere, staff greet you personally despite not being in as regularly due to rising costs. General manager even made point to come over and speak to us and speak to us in a friendly, professional manner, seeking and listening to our opinions on a variety of topics around the pub (even though he was on annual leave). We felt like our opinions were important and definately hope to be back in again soon.

This lovely pub was reccomended by my brother Jasvinder and we were not disappointed at all, 10 of us rocked up and all 10 people left 100% satisfied! The starters, mains and dessert were absolutely yummy and good hearty sized portions. Tyler our server was super polite and helpful from the point we stepped in thank you! He is a credit to your pub for his outstanding customer service and manners. Each course was served fresh, swiftly and we did not feel rushed at any point of our meal. Thank you for a memorable meal we will be back again no doubt! ❤️🙏🏼

I went for a family meal of 14 people on Sunday 1st December. What a let down. The tables were scattered around, hence we were all sat on separate tables instead of being together. The food was mediocre. I had the roast pork Sunday lunch, there was two very small pieces of meat, there was plenty of veg. The food was warm, not hot. The service was awful, there was just no attention to detail. We asked for condiments, these were bought on a plate and left on one table instead of being handed out to individual tables. There didn't appear to be many staff, it took ages for them to clear the tables, by which time everyone had gone off the idea of dessert. They clearly can't cope with a large party of people. Also my brother and his wife had the same drinks twice, and were charged a different price the second time. £15 for a Carlsberg lager and a white wine with a splash of lemonade, the second round was 0.55p cheaper. Work that one out!!

Lovely place, would recommend for anyone, Tyle looled after use very well, he was very friendly and enjoyed a few jokes with us as well. Service was good, did not have to wait too long for our food considering we were a party of 10..The food was very lovely and from starters to dessert.

Always a warm natural unrehearsed welcome from all the staff at the wagon and horses pub. The food is always well prepared and good value for money. Always a good selection of beers and wines at a fair price. Jo looked after us on the night and was a fantastic host. She went out of her way to make our night special.

The chef with the black glasses is by far the best

Tasty tea with my nephew who ate 3 courses and stated that his burger was tastier than Mcdonalds ahaha- high praise indeed and also did a little happy dance mid eating his chocolate brownie and ice cream.

Amazing food, amazing service fast and prompt, cant fault the team they are all so lovely here, the events that have been planned over the christmas period all look brilliant will definitely be attending a few of them. Really do enjoy visiting this pub.

Came bank holiday Sunday with my children for a roast lunch. Was absolutely beautiful food, can't fault it. The service was quick and the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you! My 5 year old son enjoyed playing outside on the play area, couldn't get him off it lol. Would highly recommend!! Such an amazing place to visit

As soon as Jo saw us, she came over, sat next to my wife and was asking us how we'd been and all about our summer and having a lovely chat. Jo has always been an awesome server, genuinely very friendly and welcoming, they would be lost without her. We ordered our food, haloumi fries to start, a mixed grill for me and a sirloin steak for my wife. Starter was nice and hot and a decent portion. The mains came and everything on the mixed grill was cooked to perfection as was my wife's steak and extra points to the kitchen for sending the food out on hot plates which is what you want, especially with a mixed grill that takes a little longer to eat. Finished off sharing a salted caramel sundae which was again lovely. All in all a great return to this lovely pub, brilliant food and a brilliant server, star of the show; Jo. Went to the waggon and horses for lunch we both had roast beef with cauliflower cheese side absolutely delicious we were served by the fabulous JO who is always so attentive there was a nice atmosphere in the pub

Food was good, hot and arrived quickly. Staff were pleasant and really helpful. I used the website to book the table and found it impossible to amend the booking to add one more person, so I had to cancel and rebook. I had a 30% discount voucher but this was not applied when I ordered my food through the app - very disappointing.

Dirty glasses, poor selection of real ales, over priced poor beer. Not cheap, could be so much better. We only had drinks so can't comment on food.

Staff were lovely, food was really nice. Price was fantastic due to Meercat Meaks discount. Only criticisms would be that we had to wait around 25 mins for the food even though the pub was quite empty, & that the Prosecco was flat. We highlighted this & the staff apologized & swapped it right away. Apart from that it was lovely & we’ll definitely come back.

We enjoyed a family birthday get together….we were a party of children & adults….meals for us all were delicious & enjoyed by all….the roast dinners were very tasty….our waitress Jo was great making sure everything was ok & made our experience enjoyable…definitely will visit again ….

We were extremely disappointed. Extortionate prices for mediocre food, one example, squashed chicken and mushroom pie with one lump of 'mashed' potato and very little else! Hunter's Chicken, again, tiny. The service was dreadful, staff need urgent training, your young staff have no initiative whatsoever. Customers should not need to ask for tables to be cleaned and cleared, which we did on several occasions. Again, an example, 2 plates were taken away, leaving 2 the on the table..along with dirty glasses, a mug and teapot. Our sweets arrived with all of this debris still there. Sorry, but our group will certainly not be returning. It was far superior before, when the spit roast chicken was on the menu.

We have visited the Wagon&Horses Wombourne on several occasions and have always enjoyed a lovely meal . Yesterday 22nd September was an excellent experience. The service by Jo as always was very professional and friendly. We will be back!.
