Absolutely 5 star food and service. Couldn’t fault anything. Really enjoyed our experience. If I was forced to choose a favourite course it would be the scallop, my husbands was the Falliw Deer but I enjoyed every last morsel and if I couldve licked the plate I would have!! Special mention to our waitress, can’t remember her name sorry, she had blonde hair x

Great food with a fun and enjoyable atmosphere created by John and team. Few places I’ve recommended with total confidence but ever since those Pastiche days it has been so.

Disappointed. I have been with my family to Poms today. What happened was shocking. I have ordered for my little one a “English muffin with jam and butter” (£4). They served me half muffin. I asked where the other half was as I have ordered a muffin and not half. Therefore, they served me with the other half, in a small plate on its own. I have asked for the bill and they wanted to charge me £8 for the English muffin because I asked the “other half”. I explained that the menu mentioned an English muffin and not “half portion”. I found their request for £8 shocking. I needed to insist that the menu was misleading and was not acceptable to pay £8 for A plain muffin to have that removed from the bill. It is a shame, I was a regular customer and I find the quality great but I will not go again.

Went for Afternoon lunch , mushroom starter was three small balls of rice couldn’t taste or see any mushroom , very bland, no dressing , awful quality of steaks mine was rump , husbands steak was sirloin, was cooked to our preference , but again bland taste not what you would expect from a steak , can’t knock service from girls there , presentation of food was poor , first time I’ve left a restaurant still hungry, very disappointing as our previous visit was great. Won’t be rushing back.

This is now a new Indian restaurant which we thought we would try as they open at lunch time. Food was very average. Service very slow. Starters arrived with no sauces until we'd almost finished. Cold plates for main course. No chocolates or mints with bill and very expensive so won't be rushing back.

Visited their stall at Shrewsbury market mid morning. The produce looked lovely & the queue was long so we joined it. We chose, Stilton & walnut focaccia, almond croissant & some sort of raisin bun. The croissant & bun were unbelievably stale & dry, certainly not freshly baked, more like left overs, frozen & then left uncovered to thaw before being bagged ready for resale. Both went in the bin! Unfortunately the focaccia was the same, however, we toasted it & managed to eat that. All in all I found the products well below what is expected & therefore I do not recommend them

called in for lunch and was made very welcome, our granddaughter is vegetarian and they were really helpful at choosing her food which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our meal was lovely. Will be recommending it to our friends.

Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired- would not recommend. The cauliflower cheese was still frozen- when we told this to the staff, we only got an ‘oh no’ comment. Wouldn’t waste your time on a visit.

Totally lacked atmosphere and warmth. There was no background music or even chatter. I could hear a couple in the kitchen discussing a member of staff which was poor and then I’m assuming the poor girl was having a review of her work to date in the cafe with customers all around. The coffee was mediocre and the sandwich was lacking in chicken. Really disappointed and wouldn’t return.

This once was a great pub for wkend evenings for people 30 and above,,great music, reasonable priced drinks, such great atmosphere,,not anymore, plastic handled jugs for your drink, manager said someone was glassed recently so plastic for your drinks on evenings...just shows how catering for the younger generation as ruined this place..I refuse to drink out of plastic jug in a pub,,unless its outside events/festivals in parks etc.. us older generation as lost what was a fantastic venue we visited regular in Lichfield....such a shame.😔

Felt extremely unwelcome. Lots of staff met eye contact with us but ignored us. Waited to be seated, then told to go through but area was blocked off by a table. Throughout our breakfast staff discussed how they were going lay the area out and tables, seating etc were constantly being moved. If rearranging food area l would expect that to be done outside of serving hours. Whilst food was good we felt as though we shouldn't have been there. Very uncomfortable experience.

I live in Lichfield and eat out frequently. This isn’t a place I usually go to and I certainly won’t be going again. Vegan lasagne according to the menu arrived smothered in dairy cheese. Good job I don’t have a dairy allergy. Waitress walked past and bumped the table spilling my drink all over the table and over my clothes. She dabbed at me with a serviette and that was it. Didn’t replace the drink or offer any other apology. Appalling food and service. Avoid. Lichfield has many wonderful places to eat and drink. This isn’t one of them.
