Food good but service a little slow even though we had been asked to preorder as a table of eight. Standout from the meal was the Sunday roast gravy but not sure if this is a good thing.

Best Christmas ‘bottomless’ ! Summer was exceptional in looking after us, food was amazing and the atmosphere was brilliant!! Definitely next years venue!!

Festive Bottomless lunch on Friday afternoon. Food was fabulous - great to see a new menu - Summer who looked after us was brilliant.

I gave 5 ⭐️ as the food, wine and the service exceeded the value I paid. Onion soup, chicken liver, bread combo, and 2 mains - Sirloin steak & tempura cod fish were delicious and yummy. And the Malbec 👍

We went for the bottomless lunch, which was a little disappointing. The restaurant was busy and service was good, but the quality of the food was really poor. Our table of 5 chose different starters/mains and they were all low quality, poor taste unfortunately.

Came here to celebrate my friend being officially cancer free and to celebrate Christmas. We were met with exceptional service by 2 ladies in particular, Ella & Summer. Honestly can not recommend this place enough. Thank you for making our night rememberable!

Was in Lichfield for a special occasion and went to the establishment on a Monday evening. We decided to have steaks and I opted to have the Wagyu steak. It was very nice, and has a higher fat content compared to the average steak. The establishment was clean and had a modern decor. The drinks selection were plentiful and our waitress was very friendly and lovely. It was overall very quiet on a Monday evening, there was only one other table of two dining but the venue did have quite a few guests having cocktails/drinks. Would recommend a visit.

Went to the Wine House, Lichfield, for glass of wine & cheese board (5 Cheese Board £18). Cheese was old, grapes well past best, & knife dirty... bad service, poor value for money, & no attention to detail.

Excellent service although it was very quiet it had its own unique atmosphere.

Book a last minute date night as always at the wine house as normal did not disappoint, holly took us to our table and took drinks order what a lovely friendly greeting from the get go then we had another waitress (sorry did not get names ) but just like holly very friendly made you feel at ease, we had starter and mains both cooked lovely would recommend going there for any occasion as it does suit all So well done to all the staff there

Bland simple food , nothing to get excited about. A bit of training wouldn't go a miss with staff. Been about four times now but will start trying somewhere different I think.

We had such a wonderful time which was made extra special by Lucas who went above and beyond to make experience special. I had the Thai cauliflower stir fry with was delicious

Lovely atmosphere and interior however the seating was incredibly cramped in my opinion. Drinks selection was vast. Partner was very happy with his steak. I had the risotto which was a little overcooked for my liking.

Great experience we were well looked after and ever one in the party commented how good there fillet steaks were very well done to all there

I would like to say how amazing Chloe our waitress was, my husband was late getting to us and Chloe kept coming and asking when he was arriving so that she made sure his starter was on the table waiting for him to arrive. My friends and I had already eaten our starters so Chloe made sure that the mains was delayed so that we could eat together. She had a beautiful smile and was extremely friendly and helpful. Well done to Chloe and thank you.

Loved this place, food was great and the wine lovely and enjoyed the ambience of the place. The staff worked hard and were professional in their service. Next time I'm in Lichfield I'll definitely be back.

Can to celebrate my daughters birthday and her boyfriends birthday on a bottomless. The menu wasn’t massive to choose from but there was something for everyone. 3 courses were fabulous. Drinks menu was good too and we were definitely keep hydrated throughout our 2 hours. We will be back

Bottomless brunch on hump day! Amazing venue with delicious food cooked by Pratim the chef who demonstrated excellent attention to detail with his presentation of the food. I had lovely French onion soup and cod goujons. Our host was the fantastic Chelsea who was so attentive my glass never ran out and she was so kind to make the Chelsea special cocktail that we begged for more. First time visit to this brilliant place for my sister in laws surprise birthday party. 16 of us booked in for bottomless brunch, the service and the food was outstanding, thank you to all the staff that attended our 2 tables, not sure of any names because no name badges were being worn but great afternoon was had by our family and friends

If I could rate this 0/5 I would. I have just experienced the worst bottomless brunch I have ever been to. We were served by who we believe are Chelsea and Matt (although we can’t confirm that as they refused to pass on their names - clearly so pleased to be associated with this service- but these were the names on our receipt. The day started with us being confirmed we could get a cocktail while still have a glass of Prosecco and then being refused to having that drink brought over. At that point we were informed you could only have one drink, not that they followed that with a singular other table in our vicinity where everyone else had multiple drinks. Further still that staff member apologised and said her colleague should of explained that when we’re sat - which became a theme of the day. When we were brought our main - both steaks - they came grey and overcooked. We took one tiny bite and to our shock it was horrifying. It tasted sour like cheese, and smelt even worse. We tried cutting into the middle to check if it was just the overcooked parts we had but no the same grey meat met us and that tasted equally awful and we were stuck with the smell of rotting meat in front of us. With only a few bites missing (as seen on picture) a staff member walked over and asked us if we were done, we informed them that the meat tasted awful, was clearly overcooked beyond our requested medium rare and smelt awful. She took this to the kitchen and then came back offering us more steak which neither myself or my food companion could stomach. When the meal ended the bar supervisor brought over the bill we complained explaining we would not pay the full amount for only a starter and a desert. He went away and said he’d ‘see what he could do’ and then came back explaining that he as the manager could not discount ‘a discount’ even though he was the manager and he had left to check that - and offered us drinks. Personally I don’t really think drinks replace food at any point let alone during a bottomless brunch or an offer of an extra main after completing a bottomless - particularly when they did not offer us that at the time. He refused us any other options so we payed so we could leave. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

Fab meal, attentive waitress Amy, who dealt with off the piste menu requests super place for catching up with friends. Cosmopolitan cocktail was perfect.

What an amazing venue. The atmosphere was buzzing and lively. Our waiter Lucas, was very courteous and delivered our food promptly. He recommended the lamb dish, describing how it would be served, and it was absolutely melt in the mouth delicious. I was very impressed by the service and friendliness of all the staff, in particular Lucas who always smiled and made me feel welcome. Would definitely return as i had such a lovely evening. The wine house is a great place to meet friends and family. staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good, though service can as you would expect be a little slow at during busy periods.

A few of us came here for a celebratory bottomless brunch, we were seated and intoxicated immediately (Few too many strawberry kisses😜). Young Lucas was a friendly and attentive table host, showed upmost professionalism and wasn’t afraid to crack a lil’ joke. Came with a few friends and left with one more. Thank you Lucas.

Disappointing afternoon tea. Sandwiches tasted the same as they all had a mayo base, all quite mushy. 1 small pot of jam & cream to share between 2 - really only enough for 1. Cream seemed over whipped when we asked, it is a mix of creme fraiche & cream. V strange, the whole point of an afternoon tea is a luxury scone & cream. Sadly we won't be back.

Greta experience for Mother’s Day. Food was incredible for the price! We had smoke salmon and king prawn pasta with wild mushrooms. A little bit pricier than a standard restaurant, but a lot better quality. Our waitress Amy was brilliant, she was always ensuring if we were okay and if we needed anything. Very polite and friendly!!

Came for bottomless back in December having been numerous times before. And once again everything was brilliant. One of our party had quite complex dietary requirements and they couldn’t be more helpful. Particular mention for Chelsea, she was so lovely and helpful from start to finish and really made our experience!

Last but one visit we were seated, got our drinks, ordered food and were then they asked to move table as they needed to push tables together to make seating for 8 diners. 10 minutes later, two new diners were seated at our original table and stayed there until we left! Today we were given a dreadful table adjacent to the entry door. Asked to swap to one of the other 4 empty tables for two. Staff very unhelpful. Cancelled our booking there and then. It's a real shame. Always had good food, but place is let down by inexperienced, incompetent, unhelpful and uninterested staff. If I were the manager, I'd replace all the FOH staff . Four previous visits, but after today will never go again. Went to Sorriso Italian across the street. 100% for food and service there. Winehouse staff should go there and see how it's done!

Visited for Mother’s Day as a party of 6 adults for Sunday lunch. Food was good on the whole, but areas were lacking. The cauliflower cheese undercooked, stuffing was missing off all our roasts and it was bought out in a separate bowl but was nigh on inedible. Additionally, one of the meals had a child sized portion of meat which we sent back and more was added. The food service was very slow, our booking was at 1:30 (some of our party didn’t arrive until just after that to be fair) however, after our starters, we didn’t receive our mains until 3:20PM and due to the slow service we had to move to the bar to have desserts as they needed our table. The desserts were offered to us on the house for the inconvenience of moving half way through the meal. More positively, our waitress, Summer, was really lovely and attentive, unfortunately the restaurants policy didn’t allow us tip her personally, but thought she deserved a mention!

We visited The Wine House yesterday, as a party of 3 for Bottomless Brunch. The food was out of this world, so tasty, perfectly presented, delicious. Our waitress, Summer, was nothing short of outstanding. So attentive, friendly and she really made our evening. Summer is an asset to this venue, keep up the good work and being such a lovely waitress. I would recommend the Salt and Pepper chicken starter, pan fried chicken main and chocolate Brownie. From the moment we arrived the night was spoilt. We arrived and asked if we could have a drink in the bar area, your staff said you only have your table for two hours so if you want three courses then you'll have to sit down at the table, what a warm and friendly welcome. After informing us of that, the girl then joined her friends around the corner of the bar and resumed their conversation, laughing and joking between themselves. We then agreed to be seated and found ourselves in the corner by the window to the kitchen. We then asked for our drinks which were delivered whilst we looked at the menu. We had teriyaki beef strips and lamb kofta as starters and sea bass and beef medallions for main. The lamb kofta was pretty dry and tasteless and the teriyaki beef portion was extremely small. Whilst waiting for the main to arrive we witnessed your kitchen and waiting staff picking on a bowl of chips with their fingers, in-between preparing and serving food, with no hand washing in sight. The sea bass was left on the pass for 10 - 15 minutes, whilst the beef medallions were prepared and as a result the chorizo under the sea bass was cold. We pointed out that the chorizo was cold when asked by one of the girls, she just half heartedly said would you like me to see if the chef can do anything about that, rather than taking the initiative and just doing something about it. My wife then left the meal half finished and when the plates were collected nothing was said. We decided we had had enough at this stage and asked for the bill and left. We were charged £87 for a miserable evening and will be telling everyone we know to avoid you like the plague. You offer terrible value for money, have inattentive staff, poor hygiene standards and ruined our valentines night out.

Service is fantastic, lovely bar maid and was chatty and friendly no complaints at all on service at first! Menu was pretty boring to be honest not alot to really chose from, the days of a proper menu with land and sea options have long gone! It’s combined now into1 page of drabness, mushroom starter was awful ! Onion soup was thin but okay, so out comes the main tomahawk pork chop tasted so bland chewy and honestly disgusting like prison slops the fat on it was like it hadn’t been cooked at all still see though looking, tasted like it had been frozen and boiled. my sea bass was lovely apart from the fish clearly being on a diet! Manager said she would knock 60% off the untouched pork meal because get ready for it my husband had ordered it 🤣🤣🤣 🙈 okay darling , although it was completely knocked off after, there just is no need. We love eating out finding lately the foods expensive everywhere but the standards are awful. Probably won’t go to wine house again as it’s the second meal that hasn’t been great now … shame as it is a beautiful looking restaurant.

The meal its self was outstanding, the food was of a high quality and the presentation was spot on. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. The portion size was good ive read a couple reviews saying they paid X amount an it was tiny but i found the it was good quality food and just enough. The location is central and minutes walk from the Cathedral. I would add tho they offer a bottomless brunch on a Saturday, so it can be very loud, lively and busy up until 6pm so if you was wanting a quieter, romantic meal on a Saturday be sure to book from 6pm onwards. Drink choice large with anything you’d want and as the name suggests a huge wine selection. Recommendations would be the onion soup and pork chop and the pickled onion rings they were all so good 🤤😋 We will definitely be going back when in Lichfield.

I came for a holiday and stumbled across this bar. As soon as I walked in I was greated by a smile and a warm welcome. The service was impeccable. I later found out the ladies name to be Chelsea. I will be 100% be recommending this bar to anyone that wants a drink in a lovely,chilled environment. 10/10 Chelsea 🙌🙌

Really disappointing meal. Booked in for our 10 year anniversary as we had our wedding meal at the wine house. Food was nothing special ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done. Few chips and broccoli (£28 meal) Had a crispy chicken stir-fry plenty of chicken and just full of peppers nothing else. Feel really disappointed down £90 for a sub-standard meal very annoying. Won't ve going back again.

No family should have to experience the grief and loss. We go back to Winehouse to celebrate those no longer with us. this message still rings true, and thank you Katy for your attentive and excellent service . The bottomless cocktails.and prosseco deal.plus 3 courses of.fantastic.tasty food. We were 5: (7) (4) and the team of cocktail waiters and food waiters kept us replenished for the full 2 hours we had the table for. The price per person was set however much we drank. Brilliant.
