The food at this restaurant is exceptional and consistently of the highest standard. You wonât be disappointed if you decide to dine here. With a capacity of just 16 people, and a minimum booking of four, it offers a truly personalised and intimate dining experience. They are highly attentive to individual needs, including dietary preferences and allergies, making every visit feel unique. Jackie and Lucy are simply outstanding in how they present each dish. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a laid-back meal. If you're visiting Lichfield, make sure you book in advanceâitâs a dining experience you wonât want to miss!

Bore St bakery is one of the best establishments in Lichfield. Fantastic selection of breads & sweet treats and sausage rolls of dreams . Coffee is great. Staff are fabulous. What more could you want?

This is a nice little bar. Not a massive amount of room but we sat in the courtyard outside which was very pleasant. The bar serves a reasonable range of craft beers, but what attracted us was the very reasonably priced home-made 16 inch pizzas. These were absolutely delicious thin crust pizzas and the Wip is well worth a visit for the pizzas alone, even if youâre not a drinker.

Lovely atmosphere in this hidden gem of a tea room in Lichfield. We were made to feel very welcome and special. They specialise in celebration custom made cakes but have a selection of home made slices of cake and cupcakes on offer. The tea room has a light bite menu and food is cooked just right and tastes delicious. Visited today for their summer special afternoon tea which was very yummy. Everything was delicious and I especially liked the scones.

This haven provides a place to rest those weary legs, teas, coffees and light snack are available; served by friendly caring staff. The warm family atmosphere is found in the heart of the building adjacent to the church, which is always open for private contemplation. Vegan spread is available for your Toast, Tea-Cakes or Crumpets; other forms of spreads are also available. Home made cakes are a particular favourite for my family. Well worth a visit if passing and real value for the money.

The food at Upstairs By Tom Shepherd is on another level. Just stunning, clever and delicious. All staff are a credit to the restaurant and Tom is a really down to earth guy who interacts with his diners much more than any other Michelin Chef's restaurant we have visited. Always a pleasure to visit this restaurant and sets the bar very high.

We popped in for Saturday lunch and chose the 5 course Spanish tasting menu. Fabulous combination of tastes and textures, loyal to Spanish cuisine but with a modern touch. Service was attentive and at the perfect pace. Portion sizes were also well thought through. Enough to enjoy each course, but not so much that we became full before the last course. Thank you.

As usual the cafe was very busy but we were able to find a table which was cleaned immediately. Although the menu is temporarily limited there is still plenty of choice and the service was excellent. Food was lovely and warm, and coffees excellent. Look forwards to my next visit

We were in Lichfield for one night and decided to try Lal Bagh for an evening meal. So pleased we did, the staff were friendly, there was a good atmosphere, the menu had lots of choices and our food was delicious. If we lived nearer we'd be frequent visitors. I recommend.
