WIP in Lichfield

Great place with superb beer and delicious pizzas. We sat upstairs where there was plenty of room and enjoyed a couple of hours with friends. Highly recommended

This is a nice little bar. Not a massive amount of room but we sat in the courtyard outside which was very pleasant. The bar serves a reasonable range of craft beers, but what attracted us was the very reasonably priced home-made 16 inch pizzas. These were absolutely delicious thin crust pizzas and the Wip is well worth a visit for the pizzas alone, even if you’re not a drinker.

Brilliant little place amazing selection of ale and lagers and the pizza’s are out of this world defro one of the best I’ve had in a very long time.

Fantastic, friendly, welcoming and quirky little bar with a great range of craft beers! Pizzas are to die for - definitely recommend! Don't me started on the dough balls - incredible!

WIP is a quaint pub, not much to look at from the outside. Inside, it's lively and has hidden depths. I like to come here on the way out to dinner, a place to have an aperitifs. Good service and nice pizza.

This is a great venue for real ale lovers as it has a good choice of keg beers on offer and a few cask beers as well. It’s a little on the small side as you go in but there is another large seating area upstairs. Our host (Jason?) was very cheerful and helpful; soon after we arrived he lit the real fire in the rear room which warmed the bar up on this very cold day. They also do pizzas but unfortunately it was just to cold in the venue to consider eating here it being early January.

Fabulous beer but always feel the atmosphere is just wrong. Music is too loud and jarring. Literally can't hear each other. Also always cold. Keep your coats on. Our fav place is The Tap in Tamworth, they have got the balance spot on. Brilliant beers and relaxing space. WIP needs warmth and peaceful pockets to talk.

This place has an awesome ambiance about it, the staff are friendly, the beer and ciders are amazing but the Pizza is the best kept secret in Lichfield as not had pizza this good at such a good price. They actually have their own running club which I ended up joining, very much based on the social aspect as much as the run itself and they always allow for new runners so nobody is left behind.

Delicious pizza at very affordable prices. The staff are also very welcoming and the choice of taps is fantastic. Only minor criticism would be that the furniture could do with an upgrade, especially the chairs as they aren't very comfortable.

The selection of craft beers, the freshly cooked pizza and the friendly staff were all absolutely wonderful!

We have visited now a fair few times and keep returning for a number of reasons. Honestly the best fresh handmade pizza, large and super tasty - brilliant value for money. Always a friendly welcome on arrival, great atmosphere in a quirky setting and brilliant bar service from all staff especially Jake who always makes us feel very welcome. We Will definitely be returning.

Beer is constantly rotating and is very tastfully chosen, the pizza is excellent and atmosphere friendly. The choice of spirits on the back of the bar is also amazing sporting some really tasty rums and Japanese whiskeys for a night cap.

If your looking for high calibre craft beer from brewers you know , and some you don’t, with fresh pizza from the on site pizza oven, backed by great service and a real fire, you will not be disappointed.

Great range of craft beer, fantastic pizza, and genuinely welcoming staff. Can't really ask for more. A great addition to Lichfield.

Excellent craft beer, friendly service, and the best pizza in Lichfield all served up in a quirky Wes Anderson themed bar. The background tunes are always ace and there’s even a real fire!

Great location in the center of Lichfield. Cozy place with a nice fireplace. Regularly updated selection of craft beers, delicious fresh pizza.
