We were in Lichfield for one night and decided to try Lal Bagh for an evening meal. So pleased we did, the staff were friendly, there was a good atmosphere, the menu had lots of choices and our food was delicious. If we lived nearer we'd be frequent visitors. I recommend.

We went for the Sunday Balti Night offer. The restaurant is lovely. There was a big choice included in the offer & the food was excellent quality. The only negative was that the website stated that there was a special offer of £10.95 for the four courses, rather than the usual £13.95 (which is already great value). When I asked about this, the gentleman who served me did not offer an apology & just said it was an old offer, even though I showed him the attached screenshot from earlier the same day. The £3 difference was pretty irrelevant but the attitude of my server put a bit of a dampener on the, otherwise, enjoyable evening.

This small but very busy town centre restaurant is a great place to eat when visiting Lichfield. We were there to visit the National Memorial Arboretum. Booking is a good idea. We went quite early and were able to get a table. The food was delicious and very well presented. There were also some unusual dishes on the menu. I had a lamb dish with naga chilli. Delicious. Naan was fresh crunchy and excellent . Some nice wines on the list and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Visited last night and it was good meal with good company. Service was prompt and efficient. The restaurant appeared clean and tidy.

My fiancé and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner here recently having been the first time we had dined here. The food was really authentic, beautifully spiced, very nicely presented and lovely service in a nice atmosphere. A lovely touch was that the manager came over and introduced himself at the end of our meal and offered after dinner drinks on the house after discovering it was our first time there. We usually go to two other Indian restaurants in Lichfield but we shall definitely be dining there again!

We have just returned from our first visit for our wedding anniversary. The food and service was fabulous and we enjoyed every bit of our evening. Service was perfect, no waiting, not rushed either and the quality of our meal was excellent! We've had a really relaxing meal and will be returning soon!

I was on business trip so dropped in for dinner. The food was very good. Tandoor mixed grill was larger than further South, more various and very well cooked. Tarka Dhal and Sag Paneer with onion Naan. Finished off we a Bailey's coffee. Staff were very polite and attentive despite the restaurant being very busy (it is large but feels more intimate as designed well). And prices were very good for the quality. Extensive menu as well as some English dishes for those not into spicy food. Recommended if you like Indian.

We came here for the Sunday special menu. As new customers we were really impressed with the quality of food at such great value. A good selection on the menu and all of our dishes were exceptionally tasty. Excellent service too. We would definitely return.

As soon as I stepped into this Indian I was greeted with impeccable service and quickly seated to my table, I sat in a very nice seat with a great view. My wait was only about 20-25 minutes for a great tasty meal. Also there was a huge selection of drinks that I could get. Overall I would dedicatedly recommend and come back again.

1st visit to this restaurant, we opted for the Sunday Special. Couldn’t fault it, the menu choice, speed of service & food was excellent. We will be back.

Got us booked in last minute at 8pm on a Friday, had quick and friendly service from start to finish, and most importantly the curry was delicious! I had the lamb north indian garlic curry, lamb was tender and the curry was spot on. Will be back!
