Only had a drink so can't say how good the food is, friendly service but seriously need to get rid of all the plastic flowers and put the hoover away please. Behind the bar a little messy and a few small DIY jobs could really improve the overall atmosphere.

We had coffee and cake here after a busy tour of the black and white villages. The homemade scone was delicious as was the aubergine and courgette cake! Coffee was good too! A lovely olde worlde building now a tea room/ restaurant that once was a pub. Definitely a place to go when in the village.

We popped in one day for lunch. It was fairly quiet but it was early in the week. There was a friendly welcome and they had good options for zero alcohol lagers (Berra Moretti). We sat outside which was very pleasant. There was a slight wait for food but when it arrived, oh my , it was very good indeed. My husband had a beef burger and I had a chicken burger. There is a whole variety of different cheeses and toppings you can go for, as well as chunky or skin on fries. I have to say the skin on fries were the best I have had anywhere. So all in all a very good experience and we would definitely go back.

The pub and location are lovely. Old and full of character. The selection of fraught beers and lagers are all none ‘mainstream’ which makes a refreshing change. Sadly the food is really not great and I felt hugely let down as the pub has a lot going for it. Special mention to the calamari which was inedible. I’m not sure how or where the calamari came from but it had no taste other than oil and the ‘calamari’ was just a white tasteless dough in the middle of batter. Also hugely over salted. If the owners/chef haven’t eaten this recently then I would explore them too. The pork terrine however looked really good and a decent potion too. I didn’t get to taste this but my dad did and loved it.

This is a favourite of mine I've been many times but visited on Sunday April 6th for Sunday lunch.Beef was ok to fair roast potatoes were shocking and very dry one small carrot cauliflower in the size of a egg cup.Really shocking portions for just under £20.00p WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED USED TO BE FANTASTIC LUNCH.My partners Halibut was so small it was embarrassing the size of two small chicken nuggets. As we had been over the hills all day we were starving but we just eat our food and left we should have brought it to there attention.

Natalie & Charncey were very helpful in helping arrange Mum’s wake. It was an ideal location, with lovely views over the Herefordshire countryside to Wales. The buffet was well laid out with lots of space. It has been redecorated which makes it an inviting & comfortable café.
