Brad, just Brad, this member of the St Bernard's front-of-house staff is incandescent, I've never seen an individual like him, imagine a human that was the living embodiment of aura. The drinks came out quicker than a terrorist cell given a heads up that American drones were overhead preparing to thunderbird their coordinates. His smile is brighter than Simon Cowells' on a Golden Buzzer audition, his hair more mulleted than Kentucky's greatest country singer. This man just IS. Imagine a concept. Now you have imagined Brad. An enigma. A revolutionary. A Chequered shirt-wearing Mr. Potato Man with more attachments than the aforementioned toy story character and more discounts than Unidays. This man is the epitome of the Windrush generation. God send love to this pint-serving, former pets at home employee of the year, mammoth from Aberystwyth.

Really friendly staff, more than happy to help with anything. Don't have to wait long for food. Will be returning again

Often visit here on a Sunday as local to us. Food is always really fresh with lots of choice & service is always great. Same on this occasion. 5 meats available, salmon en croute was really good & multiple vegetable options. We were served by Fred (like many times before). So helpful & great service.

We went for my Father in laws 95th birthday…. And Charl and Sam were absolutely fantastic very attentive and really friendly. The food was lovely and we always enjoy going there. Thank you all very much you were great. Lindy Ashcroft. 🥰

Grace B is such a hardworker with a smile on her face and is always there for the customers nothing is to much effort for her she's a delight to the pub

we have family that live close so always agree to meet at this pub- and we’re never disappointed. the most reasonably priced for food and drinks, deals on everyday, staff always friendly and polite- they can’t do enough for the kids when we’re there.

As always. Fantastic food and service. Love this place, it’s now our go to ‘date night’ place! Lovely atmosphere and wide range of drinks! Plenty of parking too!

Beautiful period surroundings , let down by low standards of everything else ! Coffee's were not sufficiently hot enough , & on complaining a waitress seemed somewhat puzzled as to how best to remedy the situation ! The food offerings faired worse , after ordering 'fish-finger' sandwiches , we were dismayed to find , the fish-finger ultra slim (approx 1/4 inch) with a 'dark' filling , on canteen style bread (pre-packed sliced ) , a reasonably tasty salad & tartare sauce accompanied ! I presented these facts to 'the manager' , he laughed & said , well you have eaten it all ! I replied I didn't say it was inedible , but very sub-standard, after trying to appease with 'cakes' I accepted a 50% reduction ! All in all our worst dining experience !

Absolutely loved drinking and people watching at this place all last summer. Was shocked to see that it has suddenly disappeared!

Really lovely cosy pub with really friendly staff. They do a fantastic Sunday 2 course set meal which is such great quality for the price. Also the pub is spotless as are the toilets. My go to place to relax with my husband.

Although I only live 10 minutes away, I haven't been to this chippy for several years, because of the average food. However, I've been tonight after a recommendation from a friend and was really impressed with the standard of food ( large cod and chips) and the politeness of the staff and speed of service, thank you very much, cheers MASS 👏👏👏👏👏
