Didn't eat but smelled amazing.

The food is amazing for the money 2.fish and chips £1150p and it was amazing....the place was a bit out dated but you can't believe how good the food was definitely going back 😁

Staff were extremely welcoming & helpful. Food was lovely. The lady that bought our meals out was very friendly & polite. It was a very pleasant & relaxing feel for our moms 80th Birthday. Thank you

Just waited 45 minutes in the cold restaurant for a breakfast and a sausage bap. Not good enough. They prioritised phone orders over us.

We were up the corner in this food pub .no heating on .food took an hour to come to us .steak tasted like rubber .fish batter was soft ,chips were horrible .deserts were better ..fizzy pop was that zero sugar vile stuff .

Absolutely LOVE this place! Katy is the best member of staff! She is always attentive and kind. We came with our autistic son, she made sure we were seated in a quiet area, she asked if there was anything she could do to make him feel safe and happy. I always feel at home here! Katy always goes out of her way to make sure we have a great experience!! She is such an asset. Thanks Katy because of you we keep coming back!

I don't really write reviews but feel like this was a must considering we had vulnerable adults with us, lady which looks like she had some sort of antennas on her head with the black winged eyeliner, no point explaining to this lady who seemed to be the shift supervisor or some sort of manager with her attitude, firstly we moved tables which seemed to be a issue "oh you've moved tables" yes it's a public house and we have vulnerable adults with us who didn't want to be secluded in that small room at the back of the pub. secondly when ordering food and drinks we got replied "hold on I can only do one thing at once" Rude! Thirdly, didn't ask us how are meal was or anything, the poor girl who was with her working was overworked clearly couldn't handle the floor on her own (bless her) , then we get told "sorry we have only one chef on today" why do I need to know that? Fourthly, we ordered an ice cream that didn't even arrive, when asked about this the young girl said she had brought out the sundae for you when this was incorrect. When asked for a refund with no bother we got an apology but no one asked how overall was your meal or anything. Bad overall rating that lady with the antennas is in the wrong job. Will never be returning to this pub, even the vulnerable with dementia also didn't rate the whole experience!

Food was great. Bit of a moody atmosphere. Bit rowed as a couple of drunk people making lots of noise and swearing. Staff intervened and stated their was children.

Food is lovely good value for money , but please sort theback decking area out it looks dirty and grimy needs a paint and some chairs for family's to sit , and if a little children's play area was fitted pub would be packed for sure

The interior could use a bit of a sparkle with tape over the ripped seating, but the food and drinks are reasonably priced and good value for money. There was one group in the pub who were making enough noise for the whole pub and the music kept getting louder to drown them out. The staff were friendly and the service was attentive, but the loud group in the pub ruined the night a bit.

Went here for a meal with my partner this afternoon and I must say we both had the scampi and it was absolutely 😋 and I would like to also add we had a lovely team member serve us Katie and she was absolutely on fire she was so good and made us feel both welcomed ,, will defo be coming back soon ,, tha kyou guys x

Food is alright as for pub grub. I ordered a burger meal. The burger bun was very soggy and wet. Rest of the food was OK.

I've only heard about this pub,I've never actually been inside.

Rather noisy due to kids running about food was good as usual but on approach the frontage looks like lost broom deep in cigarette ends from previous days the inside staff efficient and pleasant lrt down by outside in the dark wouldn't be seen shame letdown

Good food decently priced. Server was rather rude when ordering and didn’t display any customer service at all, however it was a rather warm day and the quality of the food and drink was all fine so it isn’t a big issue. Always has had a funny vibe in here so nothing out of the ordinary, however to a visitor from out of town I could see how they’d be concerned.

Visited today for lunch visited 14/5 was served by the lovely Danielle who was very accommodating, welcoming and took our order efficiently. So big shout out to her. We Even redeemed a 40% off offer. Food arrived in just right time and i enjoyed my classic mixed grill perfectly cooked to my liking and filled me up for the rest of the day See you next time round 😊⭐️ ✅

We had a great two for £11 weekday lunch deal. We both had the Sizzling chicken...delicious! Very nicely presented and sizzling hot! The server was really lovely; friendly, very smiley and efficient. I would recommend this dish and the deal. Thank you so much.

The gentleman serving on mother's day was very good, easily took our orders, no hassle and quickly done didn't manage to capture his name but was the only male working at the time behind the bar. Lunch came very quick, desserts seemed to take a little longer but nothing to complain about. Staff all happy to help and very polite

Omg is the only way to express how bad this was. Like Weatherspoons with music, couldn't hear your self speak, like a kindergarden with lots of drunk people. 5 of us ordered, 4 meals wrong having to wait for them to change it, wouldn't mind, but we were the only ones eating. So many things on the menu was not available, told delivery was next day and shortage was due to vouchers being offered. the poor bar staff who were brilliant having to do the kids pudding after us asking twice, waiting a hour for it, as the chef couldn't be bothered, said bar staff to busy drinking with customers., it was that bad we were offered free drinks or money back., we chose to have a drink each and was told to wait until the que went down a bit, after half hour the kids went to ask how long the drinks would be, when i was shocked to see my 11 yr old grandson and 10 yr old grandaughter walking back from the bar with a glass of wine and a carling in there hands that the barmaid gave them to bring to the table.safe to say won't be going back and would not recommend, one of the worst experiences eating out

The waitress we had was absolutely lovely very rushed off her feet as venue seemed very understaffed but the girl never failed I was quite impressed actually made it an enjoyable and comfortable experience her name is Jodie Welldone Jodie your definitely a credit to this company love the girls who didn’t get there chilli 😂🫶

Surf and turf was unavailable, but chose something else no issue. My mom and her partner ordered a waffle for my birthday, and Candice who was serving said that unfortunately they have no candles, so she sang happy birthday to me instead🤣

We had a wonderful two course meal at The Man On The Moon Pub & Sizzle Grill. The food was cooked to perfection & piping hot on the Sizzle Plate also the waitress was very attentive with a smile even though it was very busy. Was a great Groupon Deal would definately recommend

Nice food but the service is shocking, me and my family came here on saturday and i’m disappointed to say i was not impressed with the hospitality and basic manners from the man working on the bar. i believe his name is Karl, me and my family come fairly often for food and we are always met with bad attitude when he’s working, he needs to be trained on customer service skills. it’s a shame because i’ve never had this issue with any other members off staff, other than that great drink and food :)

Letting the local drug dealer back in is hardly a good practice. Main Manager off and the assistant manager been a 'friend' of the dealer means it is not dealt with.

Really not impressed with the food at all, some of the meat had been served cold. It was expensive for how little we got. Cold pork is just not good enough. I would not recommend!

Attentive and friendly staff, but the small lunch selection leaves a lot to be desired. Wraps and stale Doritos? Who has Doritos for lunch? The wrap was small and underwhelming.

It's a decent pub, looks half finished but I think that's part of the charm. Drink is good but the food is bog standard Wetherspoons food. Can get busy but what's wrong with that? Prices are fair. Can't recall if they had parking but there's spaces about.

Toilets disgusting needs a serious revamp you can't even get into a cubicle without the toilet touching you. Chips were dry and flavourless plus I had a hair on my plate put me right off my food. The place is not clean. Bar staff nice and friendly

First time have been in, 1 person serving 3 people collecting glasses, a bit strange. The gents looked more like the Ladies. Bar prices reasonable. 3 doombar beer pumps but they don't stock it.

Arrived for lunch and the pub lounge was virtually empty, but when we found a place to sit, the table was dirty. Moved to sit at another table which was sticky, the tables definitely hadn’t been cleaned properly despite the lack of customers. Starters were very hot in temperature, but were lacking in flavour, and unfortunately the main courses were just as bad. Just very basic pub grub.

Sick of giving that place anymore chances now.the manager Danielle is the only good thing I can say about the place.sold out of stuff ,mistakes made with order and rude waitress and this is one of many times. I keep giving them chances but nothing improves apart from they now have a decent manager but there is alot of work for her to turn that place around.ive just been offered another 25% off voucher to go back.not a chance ! I received a message from the place opologising and thanking me so they can improve. Nothing has changed!

Visited for lunch. Greeted by the staff as we walked in... one of them doing a welfare check on a customer outside. A nice touch! Not busy despite school holidays and sat in the conservatory area. Food and drink ordered at the bar and food delivered to the table within 10-15 minutes. Food was excellent, good quantity and hot. Very reasonable lunchtime deal with 2 mains for £10. On-site free car park with bus stop nearby. Happily visit again.

Me and my friends went last night. It's the pub behind my house so I pop in now and again. My mates are from Shirley, they loved it and legit said they'd travel to drink here again. Great value, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Fabulous night. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Staff friendly, service great,food brilliant

Service and atmosphere were wonderful. Great place for that but the food was disappointing. Mushroom starter was delicious. Asked for medium rare steak which was over cooked and tough as leather. Mushrooms were burnt to the sizzling plate, Chips dry and overcooked. Curly fries delicious but the chicken wing starter was dry. I would go for a drink and the atmosphere but not to eat. I wish I had complained.

Had a great meal with the family here, great service and good food surprisingly cheap. A kind of pub that works well both for a dinner with the family and for some pints with the boys. Great atmosphere. I see a lot of bad reviews here from some years back, but something good most have happened in the meantime
